I cook with avocado oil. Olive oil is very expensive here and most of the time, it is even mixed with different unknown oils.

    • @blackworldtraveler3711 on October 7, 2025 at 12:45 pm

I’m in Oklahoma and cook with extra virgin cold pressed avocado oil.
I import my extra virgin cold pressed olive oil from the family owned farm I visited in Italy over 20 years ago.
Don’t have mortgage, debt, big house, new car, subscriptions, marriage, kids, etc. and live within means so cost of imported olive oil is no big deal.

    • @idiptoastinicecream on October 7, 2025 at 1:58 pm

who says that avocado oil isn’t mixed with other oils either? If your avocado oil is cheap then the chances are it’s cut with other oils. Avocado oil per 500ml usually costs about 5 euros more than olive oil.

Hello! For salad, extra virgin olive oil is great, and yes, make sure it is genuine. For cooking and frying, healthier choices are olive oil, coconut oil, ghee, avocado oil, tallow and lard, surely. Thanks for sharing!

  4. @sarojplaha7421 on October 7, 2025 at 11:27 am

I use Ghee (clarified butter) for cooking.

    • @Drberg on October 7, 2025 at 3:35 pm

Hi! Ghee is excellent for cooking because it has a high smoke point and rich flavor. Look for organic, grass fed ghee for the best quality and nutritional benefits.

Olive oil will have the same effects after a certain heat

    • @DamonBrooks-og2ti on October 7, 2025 at 1:35 pm

Thats why I use Avocado Oil

    • @idiptoastinicecream on October 7, 2025 at 1:55 pm

This is a huge misconception. Every oil does the same thing after a certain temperature. Olive oil, both EVOO and non-EVOO’s do not start oxidising until ~195-230 celcius. That’s high enough temperature to roast and fry any meat or vegetable. I don’t know why this misinformation spread everywhere. Olive oil’s smoke point is higher than coconut oil’s.

    • @douxange6458 on October 7, 2025 at 2:26 pm

Yes, avocado oil is my go-to. I only consume olive oil cold. @DamonBrooks-og2ti

    • @Drberg on October 7, 2025 at 2:47 pm

Hello! Using bacon grease, beef fat, pork lard, and ghee for cooking provides rich, stable fats that are great for flavor and keto cooking. They are all good sources of healthy saturated fats and work well for high heat cooking.

I been stopped using that or cooking with that. But they put it and hide it in All types of food. Thats the crazy thing about it. People are consuming it and dont even know. Tuna, bread, mayonnaise, etc.

As far as me…it took a while, but I slowly weined off of that tuna. Then it was the bread. I thought I was buying 1 for a few years that didnt have any in it…but I looked in the supermarket a few weeks ago, and it does have it in that bread. I dont really buy bread like that any more, but Mann.

So now the ONLY thing thats left is the mayo. I cant seem to find a good mayo replacement that I want. I dont want the 1 with avocado oil. And I prefer not to make my own. But that might have to be the next option. These oils were busting out of my pores recently, after eating so much mayo. Yuck! So I gotta get it together. Mann. SMH

The first time I saw a video about seed oils & how bad they were was at a Seventh Day Adventist home showing in my neighborhood in No.Calif in the late 1980’s. The video also talked about the forcing of extra hydrogen atoms into the molecular structure of things like peanut butter to keep the peanut oil from separating. Every cell in our bodies has a “lipid” aka fat outer membrane. The video asked this question: If your body can’t find unadulterated fat monomers to use to make & repair cell menbranes what DOES IT USE? Keep in mind that the cell membrane is where the portals-receptors for nutrients to enter and leave the cell are located. This is how the cells regulate & maintain homeostasis or optimal cell/body health. Thank you Dr. Berg.

Indians have been cooking in sesame oil, mustard oil and coconut oil for 1000s of years and peanut oil for 100s of years.
These oils have a high smoke point and are not harmful when used correctly in right quantity.
