The MOST Dangerous Diseases that Don’t Give You Symptoms

Many chronic diseases have no symptoms for 15 to 20 years! Common diseases like type 2 diabetes, liver disease, and kidney disease often have no warning signs until they’ve significantly progressed. Discover the top diseases with no symptoms and learn how to avoid them.

Watch these videos to learn more about the early warning signs of silent diseases and how to prevent and avoid them:

0:00 Introduction: Dangerous diseases with no symptoms
2:04 High blood pressure and type 2 diabetes
3:52 Liver disease and kidney disease
4:38 Low vitamin D
5:30 4 habits to avoid and reverse silent diseases

Did you know that it can take 10 to 20 years to develop high blood pressure and around 15 to 20 years for type 2 diabetes? Over 75% of your liver could be damaged before you experience symptoms from liver disease, and you can run your body on one kidney, making kidney disease equally difficult to detect.

You won’t notice any symptoms from atherosclerosis until 70% of your artery is blocked, and stage 4 colon cancer is sometimes discovered with no symptoms at all!

Instead of addressing the root cause of these chronic diseases, doctors will typically prescribe medication to manage the symptoms that occur later on.

Before you develop type 2 diabetes, high levels of insulin keep your blood sugar normal for many years. Most people don't notice symptoms other than belly fat and fatigue, but eventually, your pancreatic cells fail to produce insulin.

Low vitamin D is not a disease, but it can put you at risk for many different health conditions, including cancer, autoimmune diseases, and cardiovascular disease. Vitamin D helps increase nitric oxide to support healthy blood pressure, and also supports insulin function and sensitivity.

The following 4 habits can help you avoid and reverse these asymptomatic diseases.

1. Exercise
Try walking after eating. Hypoxia training can also have significant health benefits.

2. Low-carb diet and intermittent fasting
Aim for 1 to 2 meals daily to improve insulin resistance and its associated health conditions. Do Healthy Keto® and intermittent fasting the right way; this FREE guide makes it easy:

3. Get more sleep
Try to get an additional 30 to 60 minutes of sleep each night.

4. Spend more time outside
Take walks in nature and get plenty of sun for dramatic improvements in your health.

Today’s indulgence is tomorrow’s health issues. We dont live to eat… we eat to live. I am blessed to have this reminder for this time in the year where most of us are tempted by sweets and carb loaded food as we visit family for the holidays. 💚

    • @thehawk5141 on October 4, 2025 at 1:10 pm

Not true. None of us will live forever. You can eat healthy your whole life and still develop health issues later on. Often times people with bad diets out live people with good ones. Our bodies are meant to expire either way. Get some kind of exercise every day and don’t overdo it on refined carbs and sugar. Have a good social circle and let the rest work itself out. Live life.

    • @thetahnimara on October 4, 2025 at 1:12 pm

@fp7713 I agree, but some who still have more bad stomach bacteria versus good stomach bacteria will have a harder time with restraint. The bad gut bacteria need sugar to grow and thrive. They send those messages of cravings for sugar, straight to the brain, and can even engage saliva to form when you smell or see those types of foods.

Me too. But my GB had cancer in it with no symptoms. I’m eating no processed foods, only sugar from fruits and clean eating and i’m down 11lbs. Even with that my glucose was 190 because my body is attacking cancer left on the gb stem.

Went to get my liver ultrasound and the technician asked if I still had my gallbladder. I said yes and she took my scans and sent them to radiology. Still waiting for the results.

I’m 77 years old so-called African-American woman and the one thing that would always upset me when I went to the doctor is that he wouldn’t try to find out what was causing the problem he would just try to give me a pill that’s one reason why we don’t trust doctors anymore very sad situation

I like the way you said “so called”. I say that. I have to go back four generations to find someone who was African. Europeans aren’t routinely called European-American. So why am I routinely called African-American?

“European-American. So why am I routinely called African-American?”

Because the people doing so are racist.
I attended a trade school a few years ago and looked at a bulletin board they had. The term “Irish American” was on it.
Don’t ever call me an Irish American.
I am an American of not totally Irish descent.

There are around 7 nationalities in my ancestry including a great great grandmother that was full blooded Chippewa on my Mother’s side.

Despite having mire native American blood in me than a certain Senator that claimed to be native American, I don’t go around calling myself a native American either.

      I’m an American.

Years ago I walked into a store to buy milk and food, and after reaching the counter an individual with a foreign accent said out loud; “There are too many American’s around here.”

I looked in the direction of the voice to see what appeared to be an Arab and a black man standing there. When I looked back at the clerk who was also foreign born, and he shook his head back and forth and said: “Stupid”.

Back then I was willing to dismiss such nonsense and not say anything. If a foreigner said that to me today, I inform him that there was no one holding a gun to his head, forcing him to stay. He can pack up his bags and go back the the terror-tory he migrated from.

If a migrant has a problem with being around American’s in America, and the American flag, it’s time for them to move back to where they came from. If someone has a problem with my position on that, they should understand that, that is the Native American in me talking.

There are no hyphenated Americans unless, one has just gained citizenship and migrated from where ever, but even then, why would one want to identify as the country one fled from.

Is it too late to change these things? I have been diabetic since I was 26. I’m days away from turning 44. That’s 18 years. I’ve had high BP longer, but at one point at age 30, I reversed everything and got off all meds for over a year. After I had kids, I fell off the wagon and I’ve started getting back on. I’m just hoping things can turn back around.

    • @JennineMorel on October 4, 2025 at 4:44 pm

You can definitely reverse the situation and reject the diagnosis, but you will have to take a very serious approach to healing your body.
