Now do a video on copper deficiency, how it can ultimately end your life, and how too much zinc can cause it.

      Zinc/copper ratio?

    • @thinkofsomethingcooler on January 22, 2025 at 1:26 pm

How does one do this tho?

    • @thinkofsomethingcooler on January 22, 2025 at 1:27 pm

@@vrilm6746yes good question. What is the zinc to copper ratio?

    • @mrsrabbit2712 on January 22, 2025 at 2:54 pm

Typically 8 to 1 zinc/copper is considered ideal.
The problem with diet, and especially supplements (supplements are often like the Wild West of health), is that it is incredibly hard to adjust to the correct ratio.
One might have regular tests done to show the levels of each in the body, though even this is not perfect, and the zinc/copper relationship is not the only one shared by these two.
I would suggest that if you take in either one, that you do it at 8/1, but also check your diet too see if it is heavy in either one which would change the required ratio of supplemental intake.
Do ignore the peabrains who say things like what SherrylandNC said above, and try not to idol worship any health guru as no one has it 100%.

Thank you!! What time of day and how much should people take?? I think we’d love a video telling us when to take all of the supplements and how much to take. ❤ Thanks for helping everyone!!

    • @hamzabreathing on January 22, 2025 at 2:31 pm

Try taking 30-50mg for at least 1-2 weeks! It helped me, and the dose won’t harm you at all.
If you choose to consume long term, try 10mg a day for 1-2months.
If you have a severe infection, try 100mg for 5 days, then 30mg for 1 week. If you choose to take more zinc, consume copper, magnesium, potassium and iodine with selenium. That’s because high zinc doses deplete other nutrients.
Zinc Citrate is the best form!

    • @acctutil5881 on January 22, 2025 at 2:58 pm

Up to 40mg/day per standard, up to 50mg per Dr Berg, higher doses are toxic. I take 22mg of chelated zinc (Solgar) in the evening on a regular basis. Sometimes also zinc carnosine (Nutricost) that has 18mg of zinc in it, in the morning.

My doctor recommended I take 100mg of Zinc when I was sick last year. But didn’t mention anything about copper.

    • @bestlife1014 on January 22, 2025 at 3:46 pm

Please be careful, 100mg is a very high dose. That is way too much zinc in most cases in general and also without the proper balance of copper it can really mess things up. I’m glad you made it through and are feeling better now though 🎉💪🏼
