Yea alot of people don’t understand hydration and just focus on drinking water but without enough Electrolytes this can have a negative effect and cause a imbalance, both are needed to be in the correct ratio

      What form of electrolytes?

    • @Drberg on February 6, 2025 at 7:10 pm

Yes! Drinking too much water can cause electrolyte imbalance and dilute the body’s sodium concentrations, also known as hyponatremia. Severe cases of hyponatremia can have serious health consequences, including brain swelling, impaired central nervous system functions, coma, and even death.

  10. @bruce2778 on February 6, 2025 at 1:56 pm

Adding electrolytes have been a game changer for me and my workouts since I added them about two years ago. Longer endurance on my bike rides, workouts at the gym much better.

    • @KKP20111 on February 6, 2025 at 2:46 pm

Excuse me, I would like to ask you something. Do you take them daily?

    • @bruce2778 on February 6, 2025 at 3:07 pm

@@KKP20111 Yes, the ones I take are in powder form. Just add to water. I use a brand called Redmond Re-Lyte and tried other brands such as LMNT and just like the Redmond better. I keep a water bottle by my bed and first thing in morning I drink it. When I exercise I drink them as well.

    • @KKP20111 on February 6, 2025 at 3:20 pm

      @bruce2778  Thank you!

  11. @deirdrec8777 on February 6, 2025 at 1:56 pm

What is the best way to get the needed electrolytes, Dr. Berg?

    • @peterpan408 on February 6, 2025 at 2:55 pm

Probably enough red meat and eggs.

    • @hunterbiden6913 on February 6, 2025 at 4:37 pm

To much water can diluted them

    • @deirdrec8777 on February 6, 2025 at 5:23 pm

@hunterbiden6913  🤔 that might be an issue for me. I’ve been trying to drink 10-14 cups of water and day. I dont like Gatorade and drinks like that.

  12. @EconomicWarfare on February 6, 2025 at 2:04 pm

Let me drink my Dr. Berg lemon raspberry electrolytes powder. It’s really delicious. ❤

  13. @ms.k7487 on February 6, 2025 at 2:11 pm

Stylish video with lots of visual effects, however you don’t suggest exactly how to achieve the desired outcome. Are you saying we need to drink Gatorade now?

    I prefer your older videos.

    • @pamelasauls2414 on February 6, 2025 at 4:40 pm

Not a doctor but no on the gatorade. Too much garbage in them. Dr. Berg has one and you can also put Celtic salt in your water. A good kind. Hope this helps.😊

  14. @IbrohimjonOdiljonov-c7f on February 6, 2025 at 2:18 pm

How do we get them electrolytes

    • @dizzysoul6684 on February 6, 2025 at 2:58 pm

Not a doctor but some natural ways to get em are : bananas, avocado, dairy products, white meat & poultry , watermelon, coconut water , fruit juice

    • @pamelasauls2414 on February 6, 2025 at 4:28 pm

Put salt in your water! Not regular salt though, but like Celtic salt. A good quality of it.

  15. @kategranville2745 on February 6, 2025 at 2:30 pm

Yes, electrolytes are necessary , but it’s important to note that a lot of those symptoms can also be caused by anemia

    • @peterpan408 on February 6, 2025 at 2:54 pm

Iron is just another ion that doesn’t fit into the ‘electrolye’ label.
But all the metals are important (maybe not lead or mercury or arsenic or uranium 🫠).
We need a recipe on which metals we need, how much. And which metals to avoid, how low is OK.

    • @DavoXDesign on February 6, 2025 at 3:26 pm

Not to mention also neurological disorders, always check with a neuro for any motor related sympthoms.
