When I was younger, I suffered severe heartburn and ulcers, and I used to take a lot of antacids. Those antacids only helped for a short amount of time, and my symptoms came back within a few hours. I wish I had known what I know now.

It's important to understand what causes ulcers and gastritis. For the longest time, it was believed that ulcers were a result of too much stomach acid. However, recent scientific evidence found that Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection is the leading cause of peptic ulcer formation.

While most people are exposed to these microbes, not everyone gets ulcers, as healthy stomach acid levels help destroy H. pylori and prevent infection and associated stomach issues.

Taking antacids or histamine blockers to manage gastritis can increase the risk of infection as these drugs lower the stomach’s acidity, creating a perfect environment for H. Pylori to thrive.

In contrast, zinc carnosine is a highly effective remedy that coats the stomach, increases stomach acid production, and stimulates the production of mucous lining the stomach wall.

Zinc is also a potent antibacterial agent, directly inhibiting the growth of H. pylori, which helps prevent and manage ulcers and gastritis.

Carnosine, on the other hand, is broken down and converted into superoxide dismutase (SOD), a powerful antioxidant that lowers inflammation. This explains why zinc carnosine is one of the best supplements to promote intestinal health.

Consider taking 75 milligrams of zinc carnosine twice daily. Although zinc carnosine is highly effective, it doesn’t work immediately and should be taken for one to three months to see results. To find relief from stomach pain, natural remedies such as baking soda or liquid chlorophyll help soothe stomach irritation.

Nattokinase Update: Since watching your video, I’ve started taking nattokinase. I’ve struggled with high blood pressure for over a decade and have consistently experienced poor circulation in my feet—so much so that they’ve always felt cold and appeared an unhealthy color. However, a few weeks ago, after spending a long day on my feet, I noticed a significant change. Despite feeling like I needed to soak my feet in cold water because they felt like they were burning, I was amazed to realize that the circulation had improved dramatically. My feet had regained a normal skin color, a sign of much better blood flow. Thanks for the recommendation—it’s made a real difference!

My life was hell for 10 years from chronic gastritis and I almost didn’t graduate high school. I got zero sympathy from the nurse at school that called me the “frequent flyer” because I didn’t have a diagnosis, but my family was poor and had nothing, and my dad was sick and dealing with his own problems. As an adult I went back to a primary doctor that tried to throw anti depressants at all of my problems (I outright refused and it angered my lousy doctor). Tried going back to see a GI doctor at age 28 and finally had an endoscopy done, got my diagnosis, and never went back. I wished I was dead for a long time back in high school because my life was miserable and I was so alone. I used to convulse over a toilet for hours until I passed out on the floor in front of the toilet. Nothing I could do for it but smoke marijuana, and that saved my life.

    • @gofftershnit on April 29, 2024 at 2:28 pm

I hate going to GI doctors. They never seem to listen to anything you say when it comes to gastritis.

PS yesterday I had the worst bout of IBS I’ve had in years due to my lack of cannabis, chemo side effects, chronic insomnia, and the indigestion that follows. So I racked my brain for things I’ve tried in the past for indigestion IBS symptoms and I tried three things that have worked for me before. First I ate a fairly large piece of raw aloe from an aloe leaf ( 2in x 3 in x 1 in), then I made my own turmeric pepper pills with the capsule machine using vegetable cellulose capsules and I took 8 immediately (roughly 3 to 4 grams), and finally maybe 45 minutes later I drank two full pint glasses with a little baking soda added in for alkalinity. When I awoke this morning I was amazed because the IBS symptoms felt 95% gone! Incredible!!! I have to remember this now. Last night the other chemo side effects I was experiencing earlier in the week were gone but the intense IBS caught me by surprise and was so severe that my bowels felt like they seized up and it kept me from falling asleep. And this morning my stomach and intestinal discomfort was almost entirely gone. I am incredulous and grateful! Mindfulness is the key. My strategy has always been to look for natural remedies to try that have a low to zero chance for harm and medium to high potential for benefits. They are usually free or affordable to try. Conventional medicine and big pharma junkies are really dismissive of these types of remedies of course but plenty of people will give their life stories providing anecdotal evidence explaining how these things work for them and many are backed by scientific studies. So I try as many things as I can like this to alleviate symptoms, ailments, and discomfort. I’ve learned so much in this way over the past sixteen years. For that I am blessed. Anyways, if you still suffer from GI issues from time to time keep these techniques in mind to try them out for yourself. I know things like Kimchi and probiotics are supposed to keep the gut flora healthy and promote healthy stools but these three techniques gave me 95% relief in less than 12 hours and they are cheap and safe to try and seemingly incredibly effective for me when used together. Moving forward since I have been suffering particularly bad digestion this last year I am going to start doing these things on a regular basis and monitor how much my digestion improves. A while back I put a big chunk of raw aloe in a fruit smoothie and the next few days I had some of the healthiest bowel movements I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend trying the aloe smoothies as well as eating it raw. Hope this helps …Peace and blessings! …and Dr Berg if you read this I have a bad habit of making comments before I watch the video so I am looking forward to watching it now and learning about the connection between zinc and ulcers. Your videos are always on point. Thankyou!
