Today, we’re going to talk about using rice water for hair growth. Fermented rice water is the best rice water for your hair. It takes 48 hours to make probiotic rice water!
Rice water contains B vitamins and amino acids essential for the hair. Fermented rice water contains pitera, a byproduct of fermentation often used in skin care. Pitera helps brighten the hair and also helps with dandruff and itchiness.
Fermented rice water contains lactic acid, which decreases dullness and frizziness. It also contains magnesium and selenium. Fermented rice water increases nitric oxide, which helps bring oxygen to the hair's root.
To make fermented rice water, combine 2 cups of organic rice in a bowl with 4 cups of water. Massage the rice with water and drain. Add 2 cups of water to the wet rice and allow the mixture to sit at room temperature for 2 hours. Strain the liquid into a glass jar and cover lightly.
After 48 hours, cover your fermented rice water with a lid and store it in the refrigerator. The cold temperature will slow down bacterial growth.
To use fermented rice water for your hair, apply it to your hair and scalp, leave it on for 20 minutes, and then rinse. Do this twice per week for hair growth and healthier hair.
Fermented rice water helps repair the hair and puts beneficial microbes back into the hair. It can also be used on your face!

I used black rice water on my daughters hair and it has done wonders.
Blace rice means
Is that true or you just joking…??
what do you mean by black rice?
@@GBA-64no jokes.
Black rice is amazing. Love that stuff. Next time you get Thai, see if they have black rice. I love the dessert pudding. I make it at home.
So many of the local Doctors are So out of touch . But after finding out about Dr Berg and learning how to read the food and vitamins labels for ingredients I can feel 💯 again because it’s a Big blessing to find out about Dr Berg
I don’t have a doctor although the reason I quit going is bc none of them ever helped me. But I’m sure some doctors do know this stuff, it’s not hard to understand or learn if you read a bit. However if you are looking to a doctor to help you get healthier hair, I doubt you’ll find one since usually they are more interested in preventing obesity, not helping you grow your hair tbh. Maybe in your local area use doctors for checkups and for hair, see a dermatologist or a nutritionist?
Millions agree
I am suffering from hair loss almost getting bold and I’ll try today and see the results. I’ll let you know after 2 weeks😊
Let’s us know 🙏🏿
Natural henna really helped me.
Read Supergut.
Use the onions water to make it grow quickly too. Blender your onions and take water only. Mixing with rice water and spray before going to sleep. Leave overnight and wash tomorrow. Make sure to do at weekends and no date tomorrow coz onions water will give a bit smell on your hairs for a while. Or shampoo to get rid the smell
Yes please keep us updated. 🙂

Wondering for how long we do this. Or do 2 weeks wait 2 weeks do 2 weeks, kinda schedule?
@ dr berg says use/apply 2 times a week

Tip: I would use distilled water because tap water has too many chlorine and fluoride and whatever else
Yes, the Chlorine and Chloramine from Municipal Tap Water will kill the very microbes you want to grow! This can also be solved by allowing tap water to sit for 24 hours, uncovered, so those chemicals break down and dissipate.
Adding a SHOWER FILTER that removes these chemicals is also helpful if you use a municipal water supply. It is to make it “safe” but it does not discern between good and bad microbes and kills them all indiscriminately.
Distilled, Spring or Well Water should not have these chemicals unless added later.
Def or reverse osmosis water
Good tip. Thanks
Unless you have well water.
TY for the great tip.
Dr. Eric is a blessing to humankind….
Indeed.
We Agree!
I was born and raised in the Philippines. Way back in 1980s, my grandma used to make a fermented bucket of rice water for my siblings and me for bathing. She said that it helps remove the body odor. I thought it was just one of the crazy folk remedies, but of course, Grandma was right after all!
I’m pipthy pibe and still use 👍
THANK THE LORD FOR IL’ FASHIONED G’mas 💖
Yeah she wass
My Italian Grandma had all kinds of remedies we dismissed, now I use almost all of them. Cutie Grandmas. 💕
My Italian Grandma used to beat a raw egg in a glass of milk and drink it. Don’t know why. She hated milk because they were so poor all they had was bread and milk. She said she ate the bread and gave the milk to the cats. She used to put orange juice in her cereal.@@sarahcarrasco
I’ve been making my own fermented rice water for years. I use 3 different organic rice. My hair loves it. So does my skin.
Whats the best way to apply it
what type of rice do you use? TY.
Applicantion plse
Trust me, rice water really works on your hair like a magic.. But you have to do it at least twice a week, for 2 to 3 Months..continuously….all the best
How you incorporate it in your shower routine? Should we apply it before or after shower?
Only rice water ???,in this vedio
thanks!
Should we do shampoo after applying rice water?
I will try, i have to! Over the past year my hair, my short hair has gotten really light, lots of empty real estate between the individual hairs up there and i am now 51 and my dad and his mother both had and still have a full head of hair.
Thank you!
I love freezing rice water in ice cube trays to apply after I wash my face.
Do you melt them first
Once again Dr.Berg never fails to put out a video right when I’m going through this very issue!!! Literally clumps of hair for the past month have been falling out and even more so when I wash my hair! It’s so sad I’m so depressed…I will get on this ASAP….. fingers crossed and wish me luck! I feel as though 35% of my hair has fallen out!!! Now with good thoughts in mind I will implement this and see my hair grow back like Rapunzel thick & long again. Say a prayer for me please that will help 100% …Thank you.
Good luck…I’ve lost 50+% of my hair by this point. It’s depressing.
Make sure you are also eating healthy whole foods like a keto diet. Minimize processed food or cut out completely.
@@eeg0415 Keto is not healthy. I do agree with avoiding processed junk though. A lot of people on keto LOSE their hair.
Purchase a ripe avocado, beat into a butter add 1 to 2 tablespoon of dark castor oil, and apply to your hair, use a plastic cap to cover for 25 minutes. You can still use the Rice water. Do this treatment for 1 week for for weeks, then 2 times a month. Purchase a bottle of Biotin, which will slow down hair loss, and allow growth.
Onion juice apply on the scalp it’s very good for hair
I tried before, hair was very shiny and looks more healthier.
thanks for your input! greeting from Romania!😘
In India women use to wash their hair with the water strained after cooking rice. We just wash our hair in it finally after shampooing. Then wash with water again. It gives a lustrous and fuller look to the hair also protects it and helps with growth.
Rice washed water can also help with back pain.
Eating 5 curry leaves every day has improved my hair growth on forehead and controlled hairfall. These are regularly used in south indian cuisine almost in all dishes. I highly recommend it.
Raw curry leaves?
You’re saying rice water after washing the rice not fermented rice water?
@@JitthuSinghyes
How does it help with back pain ? Please explain how to use it
I can attest to this. Using rice water along with rosemary and castor oil as a warm leave in treatment (rinse with cold rice water) and drinking ethically sourced colostrum at least twice a week helped my hair with postpartum thinning. It has been 9 months and the bald patches on my hairline are gone and the rest of my hair is slowly getting back to pre-pregnancy thickness. It will probably take a couple of years for my hair to look luxurious and beautiful again but it will get there.
Can you tell me where or what brand of Colostrum you use? I think there are 2 types of Colostrum, not sure
Thank you in advance
It does help strengthen the hair. I used to do this but eventually stopped. Definitely will be making it again. What I do to help offset fermented smell is I add peels for either lemon or tangerines, orange, etc. It adds a nice scent and it’s natual.
Did you shampoo after putting it in your hair? Or can you shampoo your hair after so the smell won’t be there, or is the smell so strong that even shampoo won’t really have any affect
@@x-starlight-xthe smell fades away on its own after you rinse it out.
Do you rinse it out
Thanks for the advice on how to offset the smell.
