I’m a long time alcoholic… I’ve heard it’s dangerous to just stop… Can anyone tell me about how true this is? I need to quit.

    • @kgbaby1466 on January 29, 2025 at 12:47 pm

Yes it is true that if you suddenly quit cold turkey if you have been drinking everyday for years it could be catastrophic. You need to lower your consumption slowly. I would look on google for the research and do what seems to be best for you. You got this!!!

Nothing good about drinking alcohol. About 35 years ago I realized I was alergic to alcohol. Half a beer over 2 hours and I would wake up the next morning with a thumper of a headache. Best thing that ever happened to me!

I’m a lifetime sober. My parents never prohibited me from drinking, but they educated me on its devastatingly harmful effects. So when I was 14 or so, I decided I’ll never drink. I’m now 32 and I’m sticking to it. I’m so grateful for my parents’ education.
