Sugar is the #1 ingredient that we can live mostly without! It causes weight gain, heart disease, diabetes, depression, inflammation, acne, poor oral hygiene, slow hair growth and hair loss, dry splitting nails, insomnia (sleep apnea), liver disease and the list goes on! It truly is incredible. If you just cut your sugar intake in half you will see the health benefits appear, be patient though because your body goes through a lot depending on your current health, take care of your body because it’s the only one you have ❤️

Is a little bit of honey ok?

    • @incogniito375 on September 10, 2024 at 12:59 pm

im not a dietitian or anything but i am assuming he is talking about refined sugar and hidden sugars in food such as fructose syrup, i think honey and fruits (inn whole form not juice) are ok. again do your own research

    • @nnajiugochukwu3810 on September 10, 2024 at 3:28 pm

@@incogniito375yea I think he’s referring to added sugar

    • @Drberg on September 10, 2024 at 5:30 pm

I don’t recommend it. Monk fruit, stevia, erythritol, and xylitol are better alternatives.

    • @incogniito375 on September 10, 2024 at 5:46 pm

@@Drberg I’m unfamiliar with the others you mentioned but stevia was banned in some countries and think still is in some countries. your the professional and I’m not saying your wrong but personally i would rather stick with honey and fruit

1,5 years of no sugar except fruit … now, even: 3 month of no sugar at all – nothing … not even a tiny piece of fruit …🎉🎉🎉… fighting long Covid

  10. @anon9362 on September 10, 2024 at 9:45 am

    @Dr Berg
Can you please advise us of the max amount of fructose & table sugar that can be consumed per day / per meal without:
*1.* Increasing the risk of diabetes, NAFLD or other metabolic diseases?
*2.* Causing harmful levels of blood sugar, insulin, cortisol etc?

*NB.* For me fructose includes Agave Nectar and low to medium sugar fruit.

  11. @surajshukla6813 on September 10, 2024 at 10:03 am

I think on cutting carbs now but through vegetarian sources..
Dr berg thanks for the revelation of sugar.

    You have changed my life

This is true my vision improved I was so shock so I completely cut out sugar except fruits

  13. @Empath79 on September 10, 2024 at 10:12 am

Back in 2021 I caught COVID and lost my sense of taste. As someone who used to load my coffee with sugar, I figured I might as well take advantage of the fact that I couldn’t taste it, so I stopped putting sugar in my coffee. I now don’t add sugar to anything and dont eat sweets, I do still love ice cream, though!

    • @stephenolive970 on September 10, 2024 at 1:30 pm

Rebel ice cream is delicious and sugar free! And a little expensive but still worth it!

    • @user-vh4hq2hi4q on September 10, 2024 at 4:09 pm

      Yep your asking
      for trouble

I need to make this an alarm for daily reminders when the world is trying to set me up for failure

  15. @adelalaird6318 on September 10, 2024 at 10:36 am

I don’t consume anything that would have added sugar. Raw honey is the only thing that I would be tempted to have with my tea.Thank you Dr. Berg for sharing important information.❤

  16. @M231231 on September 10, 2024 at 11:04 am

I need to try this. Two things I would probably fail is black licorice and ice cream. I exercise intensely and stomach is behind my ribs when I put my arms behind my head as I’m at my 11th grade weight. Completed 7,000 100 yards sprints this season with 3,000 more to go by end of October. It sucks but not as bad as not being able to do them. I try to limit the sugar though. No doctor no meds. In park two blocks away , 3 hours a day. Morning session, evening session. I did chuckle at the donuts as I may or not have one a year. Age 69.

  17. @michellengguekcheng4310 on September 10, 2024 at 11:24 am

Thank you Dr. Berg for making this part 3 video abt. sugar. I will avoid eating sugar by all means & all costs. Much love! ❤🙏

    • @Drberg on September 10, 2024 at 5:32 pm

Glad to hear that! You’re very welcome!

  18. @hanosaurus1 on September 10, 2024 at 11:26 am

I have seen it help those who cut way back on sugar. Such as stop drinking sodas, and reducing to a teaspoon of unprocessed sugar in the coffee, or using monk fruit instead.

  19. @reformedrevan7776 on September 10, 2024 at 12:44 pm

The only sugar I eat now is from fruits or raw honey or high quality maple syrup on occasion.

  20. @helenacena2709 on September 10, 2024 at 12:46 pm

    Thank you again Dr. Berg
    God bless you
