Can you take WITH a low dose statin?

    • @christinashawgo6510 on January 13, 2026 at 3:27 pm

You need to investigate statins on your own. But I have found they are all a big lie. Doctors are pressed to push them on you or they will be reported. Do a deep dive into why statins are bad for you in so many ways.

    • @MugpushFunk on January 13, 2026 at 5:16 pm

Just suggestion..look into nature’s statin “ Red Yeast Rice”. 5 of our family members have made the switch its been close to 3 years cholesterol #’s have normalized. Also, whether you take a statin or Red Yeast Rice be sure you take COQ10 it is a must to protect your brain cells. Please do your due diligence. I hope this helps, Good luck.

I went to a practitioner who recommended Berberine. But she never said to take it befor meals. She said it would take 6 months to show improvement. And it would help my BP. 10 weeks ago I had spine surgery so that probably messed me up. I haven’t noticed any benefit from it and my BP is in the high normal range. Whatever that is now. I need to find a new GP so I haven’t got someone to order testing. Hoping it has helped my cholesterol and A1C count but don’t know. My naturopath approved my berberine from natural factors brand. At 72 it’s hard to figure out which way to go. These things are expensive if you are taking them incorrectly hoping for results that don’t come. So is there any way to tell without testing?

    • @dr.nickzyrowski on January 13, 2026 at 3:48 pm

Taking berberine before a meal is beneficial because it will curb your appetite. For some though, taking berberine on an empty stomach will cause discomfort. In this case, you must take it with food.

  8. @franbelta1533 on January 13, 2026 at 3:41 pm

Don’t you need triglycerides to absorb minister and supplements? I had high triglycerides and a Dr told me intake in everything I eat due to that

  9. @DobyDuke on January 13, 2026 at 4:04 pm

Why not just fix your diet?

  10. @JennyDickerson-k1n on January 13, 2026 at 4:13 pm

Is liquid better than pills when ot comes to berberine?

  11. @jwalkerj28 on January 13, 2026 at 4:27 pm

I am on berberine ir what is the difference

  12. @candicemay on January 13, 2026 at 4:55 pm

Would u suggest still taking this if I fast most of the day? It won’t make my blood sugar too low right ?

  13. @teadororudy on January 13, 2026 at 5:06 pm

    Makes you poop a lot

  14. @geiser4359 on January 13, 2026 at 5:08 pm

What would be the effect of taking berberine on a type 1 diabetic?

  15. @rhodamarsh8903 on January 13, 2026 at 5:22 pm

Sadly, berberine messes up my stomach. I’ve tried to take it several times, and it just doesn’t work for me. 😢

  16. @jontpt on January 13, 2026 at 5:41 pm

Lots of fake berberine out there. Check carefully for label accuracy. Also, piperine increases bioavailability.

  17. @ethimself5064 on January 13, 2026 at 5:53 pm

Now I’m curious – Can someone also take Apple Cider Vinegar a few minutes before the Berberine for even better results?

  18. @bambolincyprus9527 on January 13, 2026 at 6:09 pm

    Perhaps it`s good. I couldn`t appreciate it.

  19. @carmenferriero9046 on January 13, 2026 at 6:23 pm

hesrd it has to be dihydroberberine for absorption?

  20. @debbiecalderon5376 on January 13, 2026 at 6:28 pm

Berberine is not a stimulant?? it actually has the opposite effect. However it does have many benefits, but it’s not a stimulant
