    • @dianavaldez0528 on January 27, 2026 at 6:47 pm

Could you please speak about the difference between regular NAC and augmented NAC?
I just wonder what the dose is for augmented NAC

I’ve been taking 1200mg twice a day (2400mg total) for a year. I have asthma, and since NAC, I haven’t used inhalers and haven’t gotten sick since, although my girlfriend and family members have gotten sick this past year. I normally get sick two to three times a year, but not this time.

    • @FishOnIsMyHandle on January 27, 2026 at 5:50 pm

Thanks, good to know. I think I need to up mine.

  9. @Schpliffy on January 27, 2026 at 3:42 pm

How does this affect people who’ve had kidney stones in the past

  10. @drunvert on January 27, 2026 at 4:14 pm

I started 3000mg a day NAC at 59. Took that much for a year. Then down to 1500mg next 3 years
No negative side effects and haven’t gotten sick since 2020

I went through some of my supplement notes and the one I tried before also has L-Glycine as well as Selenium. I know that Selenium helps to boost Glutathione although I forget the pathway and am wondering about the added L- Glycine as to how well it works with NAC and just what it does and perhaps if I should take more separately or is a no no? I know a lot about Supplements although I am nowhere near being a Biochemist so is best to ask. Thanks🍁

I’ve been on 2400/day (split am/pm) for well over a month now. Dealing with chronic inflammation and poor liver health. No obvious issues, and I plan to continue until I feel things are improved.

have you gone on an extreme low carb diet or carnivore it may help plus milk thistle and taurine

    • @ilevitatecs2 on January 27, 2026 at 6:38 pm

@closertothetruth9209 milk thistle is objectively useless.

Been taking it for phantom hangovers from poor sleep. Obviously I can’t drink with fear of hangovers. It has helped, mostly gone even when I stay up late sometimes.

Is there any difference in dosages for the ethyl ester type NAC?

  18. @markdavis7792 on January 27, 2026 at 6:09 pm

I have taken NAC for years. I hardly ever get sick, and if I do, it’s a cold that’s gone in 24 hours. I am 70 years old now and feel like I am getting younger by the day. This video has at least partly explained why. Thank You!

  19. @evellofernando9376 on January 27, 2026 at 6:19 pm

NAC helped me with my asthma. It helped immediately after the first dose. I’ve been taking 600mg 3 times a day (1800mg total) and I haven’t needed my inhaler ever since I started taking it.
