Make sure that the eggs are PASTURE RAISED, organic, soy free, grain free and the like. It is worth the extra cost. I recently bought cage free and the yolks were yellow, not orange, which is an indicator of a lower quality egg. Love the eggs. They can be a pure product. Also, make sure that you do not consume uncooked egg whites, because that will interfere with the absorption of the yolks nutrition components.

    • @dagneytaggart7707 on January 9, 2025 at 10:25 am

That’s great, if you can afford it, or if those are stocked near you.

    • @Keyro10bit on January 9, 2025 at 10:34 am

Oddly, the pasture organic eggs my market sells are yellow, but the pasture non-organic is a nice orange. I don’t buy based on the label. As long as those orange yolks are in stock I’m buying them.

    • @jeanhess9065 on January 9, 2025 at 2:32 pm

Dr. Ken Berry, did a YouTube interview with a registered dietitian. Their college programs are partially funded by Coca Cola, and all kinds of crappy food companies. Sad to say, but you don’t bite the hand that feeds you.
When my mom was in a senior living facility, there was a registered dietitian there for the nursing home and she must’ve weighed 350 pounds. She obviously knew nothing about healthy eating.

Marigold pedals and other things are put in some laying feed that makes yolks yellow also, so be careful to enjoy organic free range only for best quality.

I followed my doctor’s direction in the 80’s and cut out eggs, fat & red meat (1980s – 2018). In 2018 my doctor increased my statin from 40mil to 80 because I had one reading of 220 cholesterol. My cholesterol dropped from 220 to 190, my A1C (which had been 6.0 from the 80s) zoomed to 7.1 and she wrote a script for metformin – that was my last visit to the doctor. I pay for my blood work annually, made adjustments to my diet and all three major readings are within normal range. I take no chemicals only herbs; I’m 78, still teaching at universality level and doing just fine.
I’m back to eggs & grapefruit every day 😊
