Viral Health Tips You Need to STOP Now

How can you distinguish between actual health hacks and fake health trends? In this video, I’m going to tell you about ten health hacks that don’t work and often cause more harm than good. Avoid these health hacks to save your health and your wallet!
0:00 Introduction: Health hacks debunked
0:17 Ear candling
1:10 Gallbladder flush
2:36 The master cleanse
3:27 Foot detox pads
4:16 Foot detox bath
5:26 Ab belts
6:20 The blood type diet
7:18 EMF blockers
7:56 Carb blockers
9:12 Psychiatric medication
1. Ear candling
This treatment has been debunked by a doctor of audiology! There is absolutely no difference in ear wax before and after ear candling.
2. Gallbladder flush
This almost killed me! A gallbladder flush involves drinking 12 ounces of olive oil followed by beet tablets to eliminate gallstones. This really eliminates bile, causing you to become deficient. TUDCA is a much better remedy to help prevent and eliminate gallstones and bile sludge.
3. The master cleanse
This cleanse combines lemon juice, cayenne pepper, and maple syrup, which won’t cleanse your body but will mess with your blood sugar.
4. Foot detox pads
You can not pull toxins and heavy metals out of your feet as there are no detox pathways through the skin.
5. Foot detox bath
Similar to foot detox pads, a chemical reaction changes the water's color during a foot detox bath, leading you to believe it’s pulling toxins out of your body.
6. Ab belts
Stimulating the stomach muscles or sweating will not remove fat from your midsection. Visceral fat must be removed through diet and exercise.
7. The blood type diet
This diet is not supported by credible research. Blood types relate more to an immune difference rather than a digestive difference.
8. EMF blockers
A sticker on your cell phone can not block the EMF radiation it omits.
9. Carb blockers
Carb blockers contain an extract that can inhibit the digestion of a minimal amount of starch, not sugar. You would need to take several bottles to inhibit the digestion of the starch from one donut.
10. Psychiatric medication
The effectiveness of psychiatric medication can be comparable to placebo outcomes. They may also come with serious side effects and can be highly addictive.

Thanks for watching! I hope this increases your awareness about health hacks to avoid. I’ll see you in the next video.
Hey Dr. Berg.i watched one of your videos in June. Started a very low carb diet with a little bit of activity. Lost 65 lbs so far and still trending down. Thanks!🎉
Wow! That’s amazing! You should be extremely proud of yourself. I eat a low carb diet, but I can’t seem to make myself start an exercise program. Keep it up!
And you feel much better I presume. I do
@@fisherman3861 congratulations!

Thank you Dr Berg!!😺👍
Thank you ❤
Thanks for listing these; I appreciate it.
You deserve a gold star ⭐️
Thanks 😊
you’re going to have to do something😂😂😂 no.6
Great! I was sceptic about many of these treatments, especially the depression pills. Thank you!
Thanks Doc…My wife was in hospital 3 times, botched diagnosis, experimented with wrong treatments even ECT with her declining…Me at home saw one of your videos about thyroid, called my wife in hospital, confirmed her thyroid was NEVER checked. It was thyroid all along. Medical morons…Almost killed her and she has never fully recovered.
I am so, so sorry that you both went through this. It is very hard to let go of the bitter animosity one feels when those trusted to do good do physical harm that can be serious and irreversible. All the best in the long journey toward acceptance and forgiveness. – from the voice of experience
Sorry to hear that, personally I have no confidence in the medical community! I won’t take medications unless there’s no other alternative!
I love how God reveals things to us! Dr. Berg is out here doing Gods work!
Your wife is lucky to have you!
@@wiz4020There’s always an alternative to pharmaceuticals.
I ❤ that Dr. Berg admits he tried/bought these things! Thanks for being real and relatable!
no more little fish eating foot therapy for me, im going to pay my cat to do this instead😂
@@fidelcatsro6948 Oh, that raspy tongue should work wonderfully!
This is the reason why I think he’s one of the number one top doctors in the world. ❤

Number 10 is so very important. More people need to learn the truth about these medications. Our mental health is largely affected by our environment, our society, and our spiritual development/connection.
No medication is going to fix those issues.
You forgot “nutrition”, what most of Dr. Berg’s teachings are based on.
Exactly..were we born with Prozac in our body??😤😤❤️❤️
Parents who give their children Ritalin/crack are unfit parents and doctors who prescribe it are evil.
People have to have a better understanding of the English language. They have to know the difference between a drug and a medicine.
Hello doctor i started watching your videos after my father got a stage 4 cancer and also he is a docter and my father died after one year that only i understood how much western medicine is a waste after 9 years im still watching your video my sister also docter now take nutrition advices from me because of the knowledge i got from you Thanku ❤
Thank you Dr Berg! Lately my pcp was wanting to put me on anti anxiety medication because of my symptoms of anxiety..I absolutely declined, and decided to make lifestyle changes in eating whole foods and exercising, your video confirms that I made the correct decision!
Low iron can make it worse too…
Going low carb and sugar free reduced my depression to 0
I have been telling clients these truths for 2 decades … often met with such resistance and denial.
Thank you for addressing!
After reading about this study last year on anti-depressants I totally gave up the Prozac. I had been on it for 20 years! I do not feel any different. I get much more benefit from low carbs, D3, magnesium etc. Thanks Dr.
Fasting, healthy diet, and exercise
combined with
Meditation, mindfullness, or going into nature
will battle your depression much more than any drug can do.
Also, be aware that our modern world is highly synthetic and toxic. Depression is an obvious reflection of the toxic waters we are swimming in. Only when you see the bigger picture do you understand what this means.
How did you cycle off them? Slowly decrease the dose?
Welcome to the awakening. 👏💪💕
Why did you take that poison for 20 years when it wasn’t even helping? I hope you learned your lesson. Even with natural remedies, you gotta use use trial by error because everyone’s different. Same with supplements, but test, don’t guess. Because if you keep doing what you’ve been doing (for 20 yrs), you’ll keep getting the same results.
@@GI-xx1ywSome of Dr Berg’s videos on medications may provide helpful knowledge on this.
I just joined a gallbladder flush group a few days ago, and I was doing my research whether its okay or not, Dr.berg is qouted there many times so I assumed dr.berg approves of this method. Thanks for a video just in time!
You should link this video in your group!
It worked for me and a lot of people, I recommend the book by Andreas Moritz for detailed instructions.
@@Gengh13 yes, but after dr.bergs this video im confused.
@@illusions9605 he tried it without researching enough and had a bad experience, it’s one of the things I disagree with him, we all have our blind spots .
As you know there are plenty of people online that had good results doing it.
@@illusions9605he says no to this practice. What is confusing about that?
As a PsychRN I cared for many people who were turned into “babies” from overdone ECT. They were fed through a tube & were confined to a hospice chair, making gurgling or crying noises because they could no longer speak or walk. These people (aside from being diagnosed with bipolar or pschizoaffective disorder) were previously walking and talking humans.
That is so sad and unacceptable 💔😥
Oh my gosh
As a psych RN, who works in and with ECT staff, I have never seen anyone require a feed tube or unable to walk after the procedure. I have seen plenty break out of severe mania and/or psychosis though. Also a top treatment for catatonia. I agree there are better options for depression though.
I’ve worked psych too here in San Antonio and have never experienced that. On the contrary the non-compliants were the problem!
Also, please report this to the state? What state is this happening in?
Thank you Doctor Berg, for all your help on calling out these scams. It is greatly appreciated.
I took my husband to the ER where he was diagnosed with Gal Stones. I called my doctor, and he recommended doing a gallbladder cleans because the ER report gave the measurement of the stones and they were small enough. Luckily my husband was already on pain meds. We used 1/4 cup of coconut oil at a time. It was painful, but he was able to pass the stones, and save his gallbladder.
This is one of your best videos. Maybe do more of these debunking fads videos. Get people back to truly thinking about what they eat.
You are so right about ECT! In the 70s my mum worked in psych and she refused to assist in administering those ‘treatments’ – called them barbaric. Later, working with someone who’d had them done as a teen, I heard how they had altered her life forever. Really was heartbreaking. 💔
It’s nice to have an actual doctor dispel the myths. It’s nice to have someone we can trust who isn’t trying to make a profit off of us, to tell us how to address the underlying problems, when to see a doctor, and when an alleged at home remedy can actually kill us. Thank you, Dr. Berg.
He’s a chiropractor
@@lorenamcgovernSo? He’s better trained than most MD’s. He actually gets RESULTS!
It sure is!!
Fascinating journey; I’ve discovered I never needed to take psych drugs. All I needed is good nutrition. Psych medication made me exponentially worse.
Once I started walking, eating whole foods, avoiding junk foods, & taking supplements, I don’t have any depression anymore, zero.
