Started taking it after the granddaddy strain of COVID knocked me out in the beginning of 2020 – and my lungs have never been better. I have interstitial lung disease and NAC truly is a game changer. Also, it helps me to manage low-level chronic anxiety.
Thank you I had covid pneumonia and acute respiratory failure and spent 22 nights in hospital. My lungs have certainly been affected and I have been under a pulmonologist for last 1 1/2 years. I had a saltwater scrub yesterday in my lungs along with biopsy of the scare tissue in both lungs. Thanks for sharing your story. I just took my first NAC capsule a few minutes ago.
@@harryorwell1906 Has it helped ? Hope you are better now..
You might like ashwagandha as well. It has really helped my anxiety.
@@harryorwell1906i hope things get better for you. Wouldnt it be great!
@@harryorwell1906how are you doing with it?..❤
I’ve seen at least one study in humans using dosages as high as 7.2 grams per day of both Glycine and NAC. I think many people are actually taking far too little, and yet hoping to see the longevity benefits associated with GlyNAC, especially when it has been shown to extend the lifespan of mice by 24%.
But it can
you want minimal effective dose
and minimal nr of supplements that actually work
thinking this way you will take many supplements in high doses without any understanding how these alter your body processes and how these doses counter each other
people take high doses of 1 type of B vitamin or vitamin D or vitamin C or melatonine without any understanding how much they deplete other vitamins and body resources…
they feel great for 3 months max a year and then they crash for something else
always account first for what you may not know yet, instead of focusing on what you know experimenting blindly on yourself
do you know how Bruce Lee killed himself? 😂
I think I know the studies you’re referring to. The dosage was 100mg/kg in both mice and humans. I wish someone would do a study using the Human Equivalent Dose which would put the dose closer to 8mg/kg.
@@pacmanflthe purpose of studies is not to improve human health and performance it’s to produce income and wealth for the investors.
The study was for older people, younger than 50 should not take those extra high doses, since it doesn’t make much difference
Screw the scrutiny of the FDA! Health freedom now. Great work as always Dr. Z.
Everyone now knows how corrupt the FDA is. No one I know trusts the FDA anymore.
This has been showing increased signs of cancer in mice.
It’s no secret how utterly corrupt the FDA, the CDC and especially the WHO are.
Especially with what the WHO is planning for May globally. We MUST PUSH BACK NOW!!!
The FDA is in the pocket of Big Pharma.

I used give this to patients via nebulizer. I used to poor it down endotracheal tubes to loosen mucous. I had no idea I was having such a huge metabolic effect. I do remember patients who swore by it. Never saw a negative reaction to it over the 40 years I gave it. Of course I used bronchodilators often with the nebs.
Do you know if NAC is something that’s given to patients with sepsis?
Most likley a fake comment as the spelling/English language usage is atrocious!
@@nicolewycislo4336 I never gave it for that. Just to loosen mucous. Had many septic patients on ventilators and it probably did help them. I wouldn’t have known back in the day that it helped.
@@nicolewycislo4336 FYI, look into the role of sulfur in healing sepsis. For MRSA, it saved my mom’s life. Old wives tales talk about using onion juice on septic skin and guess what onions have a lot of… sulfur. MY favorite is MSM cream (Methylsulfonylmethane). Cheers.
@@nicolewycislo4336Heard of autocorrect?
NAC was always a constant pre-pandemic because I read many articles touting its benefits. Post-pandemic, I must say to this day I remain covid free (I’m vaccinated also btw). My relative would have respiratory issues several times per year. I recommended NAC. She has not had the issue since nor frequent colds. This only confirms my continued use. I take 500 mg per day and during Covid 1500 mg. Thanks for the confirmation.
Enjoy that spike protein btw
@@colbyrulesmydoggie4839 It was NEVER about bragging. It was about full disclosure that I took NAC but was also vaccinated. Don’t try to discern my life choices sir. I just lost a family member today so today is not the day to push my buttons.
@@colbyrulesmydoggie4839it’s not the mark. You don’t even know what the mark is.
I’ve had Covid Vaccine 6 times now & am so very glad my family & I, have done so. NAC is a wonderful supplement, it has definitely helped me with lung congestion that I used to suffer from in the past.
@@colbyrulesmydoggie4839 …I wouldn’t brag about being ignorant.
I take 600 mg every day, have since January 2020. I had an upper respiratory infection and hate taking pharmaceuticals so did the research and found NAC. I took 3 a day, along with zinc and C. In two days I was feeling like a new person. Now I take 1 first thing every morning, along with ashwagandha, C and cranberry, all are water soluble. The ashwagandha is for anxiety, the cranberry is to prevent chronic UTIs. I haven’t been sick once since January 2020.
Please tell me how you take ashwagandha cuz it does taste terrible…
@@Joy-ym3mx in pill form and of course there’s no taste that way.
I’m so glad I found your channel Doctor! One question, what’s the relationship between NAC and kidney stones? Does it actually cause them?
Curious as well.
Oh no.. i hope not
@@ravenraven966 I’ve read some data that there’s a correlation but I don’t believe it’s the cause. Was hoping that the doctor, who has a better understanding than me, would respond.

I’m a nurse, in the hospital we used it for tylenol overdose.
Also look into the peptide BPC-157… it should be widely used not only for this but for many injuries like protecting from brain damage… should be the first line of defense given at the scene of an accident… asap
Liver protection!
I took double my usual dose when I had Covid. I felt better after only three days. It could have been the NAC, or possibly even the fact that it was my second time having Covid but either way my second infection was a breeze compared to the first
Hello, I’m Raymond Doxon Watching from Florida Jacksonville USA. I’m sorry if I may appear intrusive I just want to let you know I didn’t know this kind of beauty 😍 still exist, What’s your name and where are you watching from?
That’s why the FDA pulled it from the shelves.
Before COVID even hit the USA I was already buying NAC and taking it off and on because I already knew of NAC and it’s benefits before hand and I was proactive in taking it. However, December last year I took a break off NAC then caught COVID. Immediately started my NAC again and only had a low grade fever of 99 for 2 days. Day 5 I was out on the trails mountain biking. I live in Florida by the way. December here is usually 70 degrees during the day. Haven’t caught COVID again since.
I was dx with Pustular Psoriasis a decade ago. Palliative care was a cream steroid and to wrap my hands and feet in Saran Wrap every night….in perpetuity. It only took one night to know I wasn’t going to live like that. Long story short, I take NAC and frankincense every day. I have zero symptoms or signs of my rare type psoriasis. The last time I was at a dermatologist for a rash from a plant, she asked me how I knew I had pustular psoriasis bc there was no evidence on my body. I told her I had managed my psoriasis using NAC & frankincense. She said there was no way I ever had it then. I showed her photos of my hands and feet. She was incredulous. Then she told me to stop taking it bc it could possibly make my rash worse…. She’s Pharma trained, so I expected nothing less. I can also vouch for the effects of NAC on the lungs (I have an allergic asthma). I take no pharmaceuticals.
Can I ask you a question? Do you take drops of frankincense oil internally? Or put it on your psoriasis? I have pustular psoriasis as well. (I have doterra frankincense oil. )
😂 sometimes these doctors are just too funny. It could make the rash worse? Lol what a silly thing to say. She has absolutely no idea
She’s a drug dealer without the pimp hand
They have “professional ethics” , writ large in toilet paper🤣
It is so frustrating that our medical doctors have their hands tied by the FDA! They will never acknowledge the alternative therapies that either relieve the suffering or eliminate the disease. I learned that years ago with my rheumatoid arthritis…….I have taken a medication from Europe for 45 years now that put my RA in remission so I am not crippled by it at all. But the rheumatologist said he will never advocate for something that FDA didn’t sanction. Sad! I haven’t been back for 43 years!
As a lifelong asthma sufferer, I can attest too the fact that I am now at 1-1/2 years of not having to take so much as one puff off a rescue inhaler, or ADVAIR (Corticosteroid) thanks to NAC. As you stated it is a game changer.
I have noticed this with my asthma also.
I DEFINITELY NEED TO GET CONSISTENT TAKING IT TO HELP MINE. THNX FOR THE REMINDER 😊
With all the conditions NAC seems to help with, no wonder the FDA wants to try and ban it as a supplement, huh??🙄
How much do you take, and what brand? I am thinking that this may help my daughter who uses an inhaler…
I take 600mg I get from a chain called “The Vitamin Shoppe”. I’m fairly certain another reputable brand such as “Now” would be fine as well. Make sure to read up on any potential side effects or interactions. I believe the side effects are fairly rare and I never had any. The dosage for adults is between 600mg to 1200mg. 600 Worked for me so I stuck with that. @@maritucci4054
I WAS A VERY SICK PERSON , ALWAYS GETTING BRONCHITIS AND NEUMONIA , SINCE I STARTED TAKING NAC IN 2018 I HAVE NEVER BEEN SICK AGAIN .. I RECOMMEND IT ALWAYS ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for the testimony ❤
NAC worked perfectly when I ran out of Ivermectin for covid, though it took longer. I took 10,000 mugs at that time. THIS WORKS FOR THIS PNEUMONIA that is so pervasive in the world right now. I LOVE NAC!
10.000 milligrams?? And you did not have stomach upset?
@@Rikhartptno. I was fine.
@@tarey05hei, glad you shared this as i think im dealing with this pneumonia rn, started like a cold and when I thought I got rid of it, next day I was so much worse, could barely breath and had dry cough. This man is an excellent presenter—he is clear, exact & concise.
I work at a Restore HyperWellness. We have NAC in IV therapy. It helps so much to help lung congestion clear up after being sick. Good to know all the other benefits. 🙌🏼
Great presentation, short and to the point! Well done.
I’ve recently started taking NAC (+/- 10 days), I’ve been taking it in the morning on an empty stomach, to date I have not experienced any negative side effects.
I’ve since observed a fair amount of attention being given to GlyNAC, I’m curious to know – is it marketing hype or is it backed by science?
Thank you to you and your team for all the great work you’re doing
New sub. First video. I appreciate the dense content brought in under 5 minutes. So many providers love to hear themselves talk and bloviate for 28 minutes when it could be done in 5. I’ve been a daily user of NAC for a couple of years now. Thanks.
Every year, no matter what part of the country I am in, I get some kind of bronchial sickness around New Years. I just ordered NAC and I am excited to start taking it for all reasons listed in this pod cast. Thank You!! (I’ll revert back to my post in January2024 and give u an update).
Just curious, you get “some sort of bronchial illness” every year : did you get flu shots regularly ? This is known to destroy your immune system.
@@Canuckbelgo I’ve never had a flu shot in my life. But now you have me thinking if there might be anything else I might be seasonally doing/eating or ? that might just be the culprit. Hmmm.. Thank you so much for asking and pointing that out.
@Ocean1688 phew! OK no shots. Do you live in close proximity to a lot of EMF pollution maybe ? Apparently 5G can also provoke respiratory illness.

We have used the ArtemiC Rescue and ArtemiC Support combo, and it worked well for us for both short and long covid. You can find out more by typing it in.
For either covid or long covid:
First I use ArtemiC Rescue, which is a pump spray, 5 pumps in the morning, and 5 pumps at night at least half an hour before eating. After 2 days the bottle is finished.
Second I use ArtemiC Support, which is a pipette, 0.5ml in the mornings and 0.5ml at night at least one half hour before eating. After 30 days the bottle is finished.
This took care of it pronto.
My daughters and I experienced nausea and lightheadedness when we recently started taking 600 mg. We had to stop taking it, but I noticed some health improvements once the side effects subsided. So trying a different approach with some bulk NAC powder so I can start low and slow in hopes that I can bypass the nausea and lightheadedness and enjoy the benefits. 👍🏼
did you take it on empty stomach?

I use it as GlyNAC. I would be interested in your comments on this sir. And thank you for concise, bs free video. Good style.
