I read that eggs are one of the foods that raises your cortisol levels, can you speak of this please? Thank you, Karen

    • @dr.nickzyrowski on July 26, 2025 at 11:51 am

Here’s Why Eggs Don’t Spike Cortisol:

      1) Stable blood sugar = stable cortisol:
Eggs are high in protein and fat, with virtually no carbs. This helps stabilize blood sugar, which in turn reduces the need for cortisol spikes (since cortisol helps raise blood sugar when it dips).

      2) Rich in B vitamins:
Eggs contain B5, B6, and B12, which support adrenal function and help the body produce cortisol in a balanced way…. not excessively.

      3) Choline content supports brain & hormone health:
Choline (high in egg yolks) supports neurotransmitter and hormone regulation, which can help reduce stress responses over time.

Me too. Lots of carbs and some sugar. It’s great before and after workouts because the insulin drives the fuel into your muscle cells.y lean muscle mass has exploded with the carbs and coming off the keto cult

Recently honed in on no carbs, no fat diet, but also listed very healthy low calorie foods. Already more energy and positivity in general. I have reduced the amount of nuts, figs, dates and prunes which were adding so many calories.
Calorie counting with a list on your fridge is a way to go. Be aware.

    • @monicatry1583 on July 26, 2025 at 3:29 pm

Sorry that should be no sugar not no fats. Healthy fats are so necessary especially for your brain.

What’s truly crazy is how nobody talks about book ‘The Secret Health Protocol’. It’s one of the few books that are truly eye opening.
