In my experience, doctors tend to manage symptoms and numbers, not treat the solution by teaching eating right to help your body stay healthy in the first place.

Fish don’t make the active ingredients docosahexaneoic acid and eicosanoic acid–they come from algae and are ingested from water the fish live in. The so-called “fish oil” ingredients are included in Similac and Enfamil to make smarter babies, now in ingredients for senior nutrition! From pond scum!

I can confirm that taste can change over time, more medical reasons I stopped drinking Coca-cola. After 3 years with out it, I can’t drink it any more it’s unbearably sweet.

That happened to me with Monster.
I loved it for like 3 weeks. Then one day I bought a can and it just… flipped a switch and my body started rejecting it.
And I don’t mean literally. I mean that nowadays just thinking about the taste provokes me a sense on rejection.
We live in an incredible age, we are able to listen to great lectures by Dr. Ekberg for free. You keep putting them out we’ll keep watching, thanks!
Although hes not a medical doctor. he practices chirotherapy. So why is he a reference in nutrition?
@Matej Benc When i go back to my home country the yolks are in fact more orange and deep in color. We’re poor and cant afford to cage up a bunch of chickens and feed them. They just run around feeding themselves and we collect the eggs.
Thought i was getting all my omega three from flax . Cant get wild fish where i live.

Thank you Dr. Ekberg. It’s Dec 26th and my Christmas gift to myself this year is to buckle down and make myself the healthiest version of me that I can be. So much to live for but in my 50s and post hysterectomy I’ve found myself in a rut. I can exercise till the cows come home but I’ve been on a nutritional roller coaster. I came across your videos several months ago but didn’t devote myself to keeping up with the content. YOU are now part of my daily/weekly plan. On my way, started today. Will check in when my body feels at its best, not setting a hard goal but know in my heart it’s at least 30 lbs from now. Strong and healthy, sleeping well, energized and focused, increased flexibility and enhanced mood are the goals. Now for my question: You mention nuts as part of a healthy diet. However, in your video “What If You Stop Eating Bread For 30 Days?”, you list so-called phytic acids or phytates along with enzyme inhibitors as “Anti-Nutrients” contained in grains. Nuts also contain both phytic acids and enzyme inhibitors but still you recommend them. Obviously, the amount of recommended nuts – as you describe it in this video – is far less than the amount of grain-based food commonly consumed by many people. As a comment, supposedly the amount of both phytic acids and enzyme inhibitors may be reduced by soaking nuts (and seeds) in water.
Can you share your thoughts on this?
Just wanted to throw a thought in there. If you are worried about phytic acids in nuts, you can soak them in water overnight. Many cultures do this and that takes most if not all the phytates out. Hope that helps!
25:13 So true! After 4 years of strict keto+OMAD, I dislike sweet tasting foods, and most toothpaste, too. I had to quit keto a few months ago because it suppressed my appetite COMPLETELY, I suffered from early satiety and I just simply stopped eating – but I still feel disgusted by sweets

I was 287 pounds with a 90 resting heartbeat and a average of 165 / 90 blood pressure WITH medications.
I was just recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and I saw one of your videos and starting to put your methods into practice. It has been 3 and a 1/2 months and I am down in weight from 287 pounds to 228 pounds! My resting heart rate has gone down to 77 beats a minute! My blood pressure has gone down to 120 / 70 and my blood sugar never goes past 100 even when i eat! (Says around 80 while fasting).
I cannot express my gratitude enough Sir, you have My respect and I truly believe in your truth because I live it!

middle school, high school and college, I took all the mandatory health classes and a few electives. All of those combined could not do half as good a job as Dr. Ekberg in educating me on the multifaceted discipline that is health and nutrition. I feel like I FINALLY have the tools to successfully maintain a healthy lifestyle and ditch the ” diet” lifestyle all together. Thank you Dr. Ekberg! not all angels have wings!

Loving yer vids Sten! And good to see chocolate make it onto yer list too. I personally prefer 90-95% dark chocolate for a totally dense chocolate flavour. However, I quit sugar (for the last time) on Jan 1 this year so instead of dark chocolate bars, I now have only organic cacao powder for my chocolate hit. I have it in organic natural yogurt, on oats with berries and macca powder, and use it to make the occasional hot chocolate…soooo good!!
So true about taste buds changing. For almost 20 years I drank coffee with sugar. When I started keto, I used stevia to sweeten and heavy cream. After that 1st year, I just started drinking coffee black. Now if I taste sweetened coffee, I want to spit it out its so gross. I NEVER thought I could give up my coffee habits, I was so attached to them. I love that i hate it now!
