Oh my gosh! I had never before considered that all the fat-gives-you-heart-attacks studies were conducted with people who were eating TRANS-fats! So I’m working on the one in the mirror and am SO happy to be free from the awful self destructing behavior… no sugar, etc., down almost 40 lbs. so far, and for once I’m successful! This is the best video I’ve ever seen. This man changed my life. I always sought good health but could never attain it. I’m 67 years old and workout and live a healthy lifestyle. I thought I was eating healthy by consuming plenty of healthy vegetables and other unprocessed foods. I allowed myself to have unhealthy snacks and thought it was ok because I ate healthy most of the time. Once I eliminated all of the items on this, I feel better than I have ever felt in my entire life. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us.

I believe that there are countless people who love this doctor as much as I do.
When I was 15 I think aspartame had just came out and nobody knew at that time how toxic that stuff was. I used to drink Diet Coke every day. About a year later when I was 16. I started getting seizures in my sleep. Nobody could figure out what was causing these seizures. I went to neurologists and they put me on anti seizure medicines. It helped but I was still getting seizures ( I was still drinking driest coke). It wasn’t until a few years later when I was 18. I had my first seizure while awake. I fell and hit my head. I still have a knot and scar there on my forehead where I hit it. I was rushed to the hospital and the doctor looked at my medical history and saw I was taking Tegretol ( anti seizure medicine ) but was still having seizures periodically. So he asked me on that day what I had eaten. I told him my lunch and a Diet Coke. And it was like the pieces all fit. The doctor told me that there had been some recent studies that showed aspartame caused seizures in laboratory rats and this was in the Diet Coke. I had no idea. If the FDA knows this why are they putting it in a drink. I cut Diet Coke out altogether. And once I stopped drinking it I never had another seizure and was able to come off my seizure medicine. Today I am 51 and I will never eat, drink, or touch anything with aspartame in it again and have been seizure free since I was 18. You are right this stuff is straight up poison
@Phil V. aspartame is a neurotoxin for everyone, not just people with a rare genetic condition.
Zero proof of aspartame being dangerous.
A ton of studies has been made on the subject.

just want to say that I have followed your advice and you honestly may have saved my life…
I was 287 pounds with a 90 resting heartbeat and a average of 165 / 90 blood pressure WITH medications.
I was just recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and I saw one of your videos and starting to put your methods into practice. It has been 3 and a 1/2 months and I am down in weight from 287 pounds to 228 pounds! My resting heart rate has gone down to 77 beats a minute! My blood pressure has gone down to 120 / 70 and my blood sugar never goes past 100 even when i eat! (Says around 80 while fasting).
I cannot express my gratitude enough Sir, you have My respect and I truly believe in your truth because I live it!

Dr Ekberg changed my life too.
I actually argue with myself now, about what to eat. It’s hilarious.
I went from 198 to 127 in last twelve months.
But the best bit, is I spent that 12 months watching Dr Ekberg. So, now I have this knowledge that will stay with me for life.
It gives me confidence that, I have finally broken a yoyo weight cycle I’ve had my whole life.
My 10 year old self says “I want McDonald’s” and my grown up educated by Dr Ekbeg self says “No”. Repeat for KFC, pizza, Chinese takeaway, and all deliveries.
I wont even entertain anything from a packet anymore.
It’s been a life changer.

You are the best thing I discovered in the 1st week of Jan 2022 and as I kept watching your videos which are analytical (I love that approach), I took a new year’s resolution to change my lifestyle to a healthy one and I am determined to lose my weight and go from being obese to fit by Jan 2023. This and your other videos are so informative and helpful. I am just amazed how much bad food I have been eating all these years. Anyway better late than never.

Thank for the great info. Except for the occasional treat, I’ve been avoiding these foods for the past 3 years now and it’s been a huge help to my health as a sufferer of Reactive Arthritis. Two years ago, I could barely walk! Now I walk 2 miles a day and sometimes even do easy low impact jogging for short moments, just to change the muscle movement. I also fast regularly and always feel better after fasting, too. Now if only I could get my family on board!

I have been watching your videos and listening to your recommendations about improving my diet since February. I managed to go to one meal a day right away and started watching what I’m eating religiously. As a result I am about 25 pounds lighter than when I started. However what is most astonishing is that my high blood pressure has come down in a very dramatic way. I have been ramping down the blood pressure medication dose and at present I am at about 30% of what I used to take and I am continuing to reduce it. I am convinced that I will be able to come down to zero.
One might think that this improvement is due to the weight reduction but I have been at this weight earlier in my life and I still had high blood pressure then, so that leaves what I am eating and how I’m eating as the major difference. I have always been told that high blood pressure can run in the family, which is certainly true in my case, and I have friends who say the same thing. What I am speculating now is that perhaps it was the Northern European diet, heavy on potatoes, grain and sugar that caused the high blood pressure that both I and my ancestors (I now for sure both my parent and grandparent generation) suffered. These are the things I have been able to cut out and my diet is more like that of a person from before the agriculture era. It is a fascinating thought that perhaps many of us Northern Europeans didn’t adapt properly to farm life from our earlier hunting civilization. Do you know if there have been any studies on this? It would be interesting to see how changes in diet affect people of different genetic backgrounds.
Anyway, thanks for providing this valuable information in a format that can be easily absorbed.
The only thing I didn’t know about was how poisonous artificial sweeteners are and why the taste of anything artificially sweetened was always so awful to my taste buds…natural poison control 🤬
