I lost and gained weight since 2013 despite my increase in intensive exercises and watching my diet until this doctor explains in simpler terms what carbs do to our bodies and insulin.Thanks doc.
Great video as usual! I’ve noticed after having an ectopic pregnancy I’ve been retaining water in my legs. I’m a walker and a new swimmer, but still seeing the issue when taking off socks.. I just incorporated Pilates into my fitness regimen and I’ll be getting a lymphatic massage soon. I’ll go ahead and try these to see if it’ll go away!
The difference between understanding and merely following makes such a difference in everyday life. Appreciate all the extra time and effort you took to explain things clearly and logically Dr. Ekberg. Ultimately we are the ones in control of our well beings when we know the root causes of the problems.
I have never come across a doctor like Dr Sten who takes the time to explain the “why”. Dr Sten really brings it all together, empowering us mere mortals.

Indeed! He puts doctors to shame.
After doing a 48 hour fast in January this year, I discovered a couple of things about my circulation. The first was at 32 hours all of the edema in my legs was gone. The second was that my joint pain and arthritis was gone as well. After that I eliminated sugar, fruit, grains, and starches as much as possible and went on a high vegetable high protein high fat diet with intermittent fasting. I have never felt better. Never hungry. Always satiated. Thank you Dr. Ekberg! Tack så mycket! Det har varit underbart.

Dr. Sten, I’m grateful for the instruction on squats. I’m having a tough time, and tried sumo squats, thinking they are the least stressful on the knees, but still, one set and I knew they hurt my knees too much. I’m going to try again, using the tips you’ve given. I need resistance training for my legs… arms is easy with wall pushups. Also, I wanted to mention that a rowing machine costs about half the price of a stationary bike (at least in Canada), and that’s what I got – not sure if it is as good as a bike, but the cycling motion also hurts my knees, whereas the rower does not. Thank you also for the information on WHY breathing helps – I use mindful meditation, and yeah it works, but I never knew why, which is very important to me. I will check into some ginko … healing from the Wuhan strain, and I’ve conquered a lot with intermittent fasting, diet and rowing 3/day, plus yoga stretching – stretching is SO important. If I stop the rowing, my feet start turning blue, so it’s those tiny capillaries that are being shut down by the spike protein (seems to be, from my research). I will be doing some 72 hour fasts soon, in addition to the IF, hoping autophagy will clean it all out!

. . . and just the thing I needed to see this morning! The “Part #7 – Ankle Pumps” is particularly helpful and something that I will incorporate into my daily activities from now on. The “Part #9 – Breathing Exercises” was also very good and reminded me of some things that I need to devote more attention to during my daily activities.
I knew most of the things you talk about in this video because I’ve had to live with a leg circulation issue since one of my legs was damaged in a road accident during my first semester of college (in 1964). By 1979, one continuing situation had worsened to the point that I finally listened to my wife’s repeated warnings (she was was in medical school then). So I found a surgeon to do a “vein stripping” operation on my lower leg (which was swelling dramatically every day) to reduce the chance that I might one day “throw a clot” and cause a really serious problem someplace else in my circulatory system . . . my heart, for example.
After the operation, I wore a compression stocking daily for at least a year but have been able to carry on without it for all these years since then. The secret(s) to keeping that leg ‘problem free’ for all these years have been: proper diet, weight control, daily exercise and continuous learning about health and fitness.
