Ditching sugar was the best decision I ever made! My health and wellbeing have never been better.

    • @DavyJones5 on January 2, 2026 at 11:38 am

I have a question, what do you eat for dessert? Any sweets? Do you just stay to fruits?

    • @AppleGrid on January 2, 2026 at 11:42 am

@DavyJones5it’s the amount that matters, once in a while is fine, but in most or everyday we limit the consumed amount

    • @starkefir57 on January 2, 2026 at 11:42 am

      Good job ❤

    Vegetable (seed) oil

    • @Drberg on January 2, 2026 at 3:01 pm

Vegetable or seed oils are best to completely avoid, especially the highly processed types used for cooking and in many packaged foods.

Cold pressed organic coconut oil? I actually trust coconut oil over EVOO because there’s warnings that 60% of EVOO on the market is fake…

    • @SmithfieldQui on January 2, 2026 at 12:26 pm

      Coconut oil
      Mustard oil

    • @Drberg on January 2, 2026 at 2:59 pm

Yes, cold pressed organic coconut oil is a good choice. It’s stable for cooking, and your concern about EVOO is valid since some products on the market can be mislabeled.

    • @cynthiacollins2668 on January 2, 2026 at 3:22 pm

      @SmithfieldQui
Mustard oil? That’s a new one to me!

Absolutely, ghee, coconut oil, and good quality avocado oil are all healthy fats to use in cooking.

    • @armoredcorefan2719 on January 2, 2026 at 3:22 pm

@DrbergThey sure are. It’d be awesome if fast food places and restaurant starts using those for fries.

Exactly why I can’t and won’t eat anything fried when I go out.

    • @Something3741 on January 2, 2026 at 12:20 pm

Common. Live a little. Your body can handle it.

    • @Matteesside on January 2, 2026 at 12:48 pm

I’m amazed how many products like bread have it in

    • @paulaalberto8959 on January 2, 2026 at 1:09 pm

@Something3741No thanks! I’d prefer to live long and live well – healthy and pain free! Our bodies weren’t meant to consume all the toxins we’ve been conditioned to consume, and most people no longer realize how healthy and great they can feel.

    • @Something3741 on January 2, 2026 at 1:27 pm

@paulaalberto8959i am telling you will feel healthy and great. But your choice. I meant just chill.

    • @Drberg on January 2, 2026 at 2:10 pm

Totally agree, steering clear of fried foods when eating out is a smart choice for your health.

  11. @boink800 on January 2, 2026 at 11:59 am

I have no seed oils. I only use butter, lard and tallow.

    • @Drberg on January 2, 2026 at 2:10 pm

That’s excellent, using only butter, lard, and tallow keeps your cooking oils stable and healthy.

    • @kateezzi on January 2, 2026 at 4:36 pm

Haven’t bought a bottle of supermarket seed oil aka vegetable oil for over twenty years

Unfortunately it’s incorporated into many processed foods

    • @Drberg on January 2, 2026 at 2:07 pm

That’s great, avoiding supermarket seed oils is smart. Unfortunately, they are still hidden in many processed foods, so it’s important to check labels carefully.

    • @SafnaNazar-o5n on January 2, 2026 at 3:57 pm

It’s like basically, avoid fried foods, sauces, and chips

  17. @kevinhamilton6256 on January 2, 2026 at 3:09 pm

I only use avocado oil or olive oil. I also have lard handy. No seed oils here!

  18. @mariehughey5390 on January 2, 2026 at 3:32 pm

I’ve recently started using tallow. I have to say, I’m liking what I’m tasting. It’s surprisingly hard to taste except it seems to keep especially lean meats quite moist. But salmon is my favorite. And it doesn’t smoke at high temperatures.

    • @andreabryant9979 on January 2, 2026 at 3:45 pm

It’s also a great moisturizer, too!

  19. @moniquelemaire5333 on January 2, 2026 at 4:07 pm
