Vitamin D is the most important vitamin! It’s a fat-soluble vitamin involved in 10% of our genetics.
Vitamin D won’t work unless you have enough magnesium, the second most important nutrient. Magnesium is involved with 300 different enzymes and plays a vital role in regulating excess calcium. Magnesium glycinate supplements have the best absorption rate.
The more vitamin D you take, the more magnesium you’ll need. Some negative side effects associated with vitamin D, such as nausea, heart palpitations, muscle cramps, and headaches, are actually symptoms of a magnesium deficiency.
Don’t take vitamin D without the important cofactor, vitamin K2. Vitamin D helps you absorb calcium, but you need vitamin K2 to drive it into the bones and teeth to keep it out of the soft tissues.
Vitamin K2 is best for calcium buildup. Take 100 mcg of vitamin K2 for every 10,000 IUs of vitamin D3.
Zinc is another important cofactor that helps you convert cholesterol into vitamin D. If you’re taking 10,000 IU of vitamin D, you should also take 20 mg of zinc.
One of the biggest vitamin D mistakes is not taking enough! You need at least 6,000 to 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 every day. Vitamin D2 does not work like vitamin D3.
The vitamin D detected in the blood is not the active form. This means you could have normal blood levels of vitamin D but still have vitamin D deficiency.
Statins and steroids can inhibit your ability to make vitamin D and its ability to work in your body. The best time to get vitamin D from the sun is between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Thank you so much
He didn’t mention how much magnesium to take tho????
I take 6000IU a day, along with K2, magnesium and zinc. I strained my back a few weeks back, I took an anti-inflammatory med to help but it only reduced the pain briefly. It wasn’t until I upped my Vitamin D to over 15000UI daily that I saw improvements. Happy to report I’m back to normal now.
That just happened to me and ironically I take 5000IU at breakfast and 1000IU at dinner. I also take alo tof MAg and Zinc
❤
YES Vitamin D will fix a backache by making all your muscles stronger, i have seen old men walking bent over for years stand straight and walk without pain after taking D-3 for days.
Hooo I take way more, like more than 10 000iu every single day
Or it healed itself
I like that his information gets STRAIGHT-TO-THE-POINT!!!!!!!🧡
Not really, you get a dance music intro first ! 🤨
He did not answer what is the magnesium to D3 ratio needed and has yet to answer‼️
Because of you, I stopped using sunblock and 5000IU vitD3 only. I bought your 10000 D3 K2 (+ magnesium and zinc) for a daily basis and stopped avoiding the sun. Thank you.
@@lovemyself3039 just wondering if you used to wear sunglasses extensively too or if your avoidance was purely “skin protection/cancer prevention” mentality
@@Infiniti25where do you buy his d3 k2 magnesium?
Shop dr berg
@@junebug9348 his website or Amazon. The magnesium is separate.
@@Infiniti25i’ve heard someone of the keto comunauty explain that your eyes need to « see » the sun for the brain to tell the body what to do with the sun rays. So I do not wear sunglasses 😊.
I’d been taking 5000 IU for over a year when I learned about K2 and added that. Only in the last month have I learned about magnesium and added that. Once I started taking magnesium a few things started to improve. Doctors never talk about vitamins or supplements. In fact, I realized that in all the years of discussing statins, the only thing discussed was how my LDL wasn’t at goal. Never do I remember anything about diet and carbs or inflammation or vitamin D synthesis and statins. Absolutely nothing except LDL and HDL.
I have a real problem with magnesium so can’t add that.
@@Crupett-c3ctry and get chocolate seeds and roast them at low fire 5 minutes, after that peel the skin and there You can have plenty of magnesium, hope You can get some .
Also dark green leafy greens (like spinach, kale, collards…) add magnesium to your diet. As complicated as hemoglobin and chlorophyll are, there is only one difference between their molecules: their CENTERS. Hemoglobin’s center is IRON;
Chlorophyll’s center is MAGNESIUM. Therefore, all your body needs to do to get hemoglobin while ingesting chlorophyll is to remove the magnesium, replacing it with iron. Eat your greens, follow up with an apple 🍎 or red meat to build your blood.
How much magnesium?
You also need zinc. Doctors don’t understand about supplements like Dr. Berg. Doctors can’t talk about supplements when they don’t understand about them.
I have Graves disease, i took 30K IU with magnesium and K2. Big thanks to Dr berg! I stop medicating tapdin. God bless you and Mabuhay ka doctor! ❤
Insanely informative. Must folks don’t know this and even less doctors.
Doctors know but won’t tell you as the patiens are their sources of income! Also follow FDA mandates and the Pharma industry!

Dr. Eric Berg and Dr. Sten Ekberg have become my go-to doctors. I’ve chosen to follow their advice (since they align with each other) and disregard input from others.
Don’t forget Dr. Ford Brewer.
Dr. Eckberg has the first one I saw, that opened my eyes, and got me started on the Keto Carnivore journey.
Him, Dr. Berg, and Dr. Burns have helped tremendously.

Typical Google.
Thank you, again, Dr. Berg. I’m going to start 50000 D3, 500 magnesium, 100 zinc & 500 K2 this weekend. Have breast cancer. I also take Eliquis 5mg 2x/day, Lisonopril 10mg & Amlodipine 10mg for blood clots and HBP. Dealing with DM as well and have brought the A1C down from 14.8 to 9.2 in 7 mos. just with diet. Its crazy…I was feeling great and then my right leg swelled up. I went to the ER and they kept me for 3 days to find out I have all these illnesses. I’m 59 like you. This has all been very exhausting – dozens of appointments, a new prescription almost every time I see a doctor and they could care less what side effects their meds cause me, so I decided to take back some control and see how doing things a more natural way will do. Thank you for all the knowledge you share with us. ❤
Great job in taking control of your health. I had graves eye disease and cured my self by taking 60 thousand of vitamin D
Hang in there!
I was going to say, my Oncologist said all breast cancer patients are vitamin D, deficient. This helps a lot. I found out United Healthcare won’t cover D3, so they had filled D2 for a few years. D2 is plant based and didn’t do much for my D levels. Now I know why and the other supplements that I need to take in addition. Thanks again Dr Berg. My Drs love you too. I also do intermittent fasting and eat Keto/Meets Mediterranean, omaze/1x a day. It’s helped me so much ! ☆☆☆☆☆
Sending you love and blessings my friend. May you be led down a path of natural healing and health.
You should also consider taking TURMERIC (anti inflammatory), CAYENNE PEPPER (blood thinner), APPLE CICER VINEGAR with the mother (cleans gut) and overall health.
As far as I’m concerned, you’re closer to being my doctor than the one I’ve never met. Sure appreciate everything!
Now a days they have you see their PA’S. Since my insurance is paying the same amount, I told them I would prefer to see the doctor.
@ that’s what I told my doctors office also then they told me it would be about a year or more wait time to actually see the person who is supposed to be my doctor
Anw he is not a doctor, he is a chiropractor

BE SURE to take more Magnesium! I got SEVERE muscle cramps in my back. It was so painful!

The concept of health in The 23 Former Doctor Truths completely explains this, and it’s honestly changed the way I think about my well-being. I wish I had read it sooner because it offers insights that could have saved me years of misunderstanding health.
