I would imagine blood clotting is the “first aid” part of the healing when the wounds are fresh but then a better blood flow is vital for recovery so thick blood would not be helpful..I might be wrong though 🙂
Holistic Doctor
I am a person who has a very high stress response to even tiny inputs and normally, listening to someone talk about stress, will trigger even more stress. You are the first person I have listened to, talk about it, that has actually not created a major stress response..thank you. I will try to research more into it, it is definitely a case of finding the root cause and not throwing things at it to cover it up.
I feel you…..with stress your body can have a “chronic stress reaction” the same like “chronic pain” does.
To reduce stress…I try to change the frequency of energy….with relaxing frequency music & being in nature. Reading, art, meditation & doing things I enjoy. Making happy memories & no contact with the people who cause stress & drama.

I have a terrible phobia of needles and hospital settings in general, which makes it hard for me to ever actually commit to getting blood work and checking on my health
Take a friend with you to hold your hand and distract you through the procedure
Think of it this way maybe. Nearly everyone has his/her blood tested for a health check We basically all manage this situation. You might be getting many needles and hospitals if you don’t get your blood checked. Getting one needle for time to time is better than maybe losing your health and one day being imposed the many needles. Hope this helps.
I’ve suffered stress my whole life. I noticed that it’s worse when I’m in denial about something that’s bothering me. After I face it, I can deal with it better. I think magnesium supplements have helped.

I tried to get back into ketosis after being out a long time , I tried fasted workouts in morning glycogen depletion and fasting I actually got fatter my stomach got bigger I cut the exercise out and started aerobic exercise and all my sugar cravings etc stopped i am now waiting till my body feels good between meals without snacks and become fat adapted before I start doing more anaerobic type exercises paying attention to how I feel as my adrenals are completely burnt out , thanks dr Sten Ekburg
My name is John Chimenti and I am 67 and a half yrs old . I began a keto diet in late Nov. 22 . I was at 285 lbs. and pre diabetic with a fasting glucose regularly around
117 -120 . Been following and learning from Dr. Sten since then and now I know my body . Today 4/28/23 I weighed in at 219 . The same weight which I came out basic training in the Army 36 yrs ago ! My goal is to lose about 15 more pounds of fat while adding back 10 lbs of muscle . I continue to learn from Dr. Sten and will never go back to the way I was . My high weight in life was 342 !

@Johnna Farrell I think you might be confusing people. Dr Jason Fung sells no products. He is the only one of the people you listed who doesn’t sell anything at all. He has written books which you can buy or borrow from the library. He made a series of videos that are freely available to anyone. Please get your information straight. Disparaging the one person in the field who is in it solely for the benefit of others is not a good look.
if we had teacher’s like dr ekberg, we’d better off as a society. why is there not a show like this on tv? start educating the masses about their own health.

A 30-45 minute walk will get you to Mid-Beta. I try to do this everyday and it keeps my stress level low.

I’ve worked remote in Hawaii since Covid started. Easy for me to have a stress free day. Its really amazing how much Cortisol affects hunger. Best contrast is going to the airport!! The hunger hits you a like a ton of bricks. Its wild how much it really affects your diet… we all have so much stress its impossible to get away.
Just been eating whole foods as much as I am able, even eating; apple with peanut
butter, and grapefruit.. I stalled after 20 lbs of weight loss, and after about four or five days of eating three time a day, instead of one or two meals, I started losing weight again.. Love it! it’s so easy..
Hi Dr. Ekberg, in your video, you show the NILAS-hardratevariability-system, i’m a german physian and use NILAS for about 8 years, it’s great! Unfortunatly i’m very busy and many patients in germany don’t want to invest in their health, so i measure with NILAS just once in a while. Seeing “bad” numbers for post-covid-syndrom-patients. More about your experience with NILAS would be great! I’m a great fan of your videos!
