Omad is the only way I can live. Has been for a long time. Happy gut, happy brain, happy life. Being fat adapted is such an incredible blessing. And I do eat some healthy carbs like buckwheat kasha (yum!), potatoes, squash, etc……heavy on fatty fish, meat, avacodos, onion, garlic, homemade beet kvass and A2 kefir, farm eggs, pastured chicken thighs with skin, arugula, olive oil, balsamic vinager, ground mustard seed, green chiles…..

January 1, 2026 will be 4 years of doing OMAD. It also marks 4 years of walking every other day. I lost 73 lbs from my peak weight and got off 9 medications.

    • @Cream-i5u on December 8, 2025 at 4:41 pm

What do you eat? How many carbs do you eat?

    • @WilliamFluery on December 8, 2025 at 4:51 pm

@Cream-i5u Per week, I consume 3-4 pounds of grass-fed ground beef (85% meat, 15% fat), 18 free-range eggs, 2 pounds of wild sockeye salmon, and at least 6 cans of wild sardines. I cook with real butter. I eat a large, raw salad daily, including a blend of mixed greens, cucumbers, Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, bell peppers, and blueberries. I dress this salad with organic extra virgin olive oil from Italy and balsamic vinegar. I drink coffee in the morning and electrolyte-enriched filtered water throughout the day. January 1, 2026, will mark my fourth anniversary of this lifestyle.

“I’ve been doing OMAD almost every day for several months now.
It’s incredible how good I feel.
The amazing pleasure of being able to eat one huge meal…
I find it extremely easy to eat 3,000 calories and more than 150 grams of protein in a single meal.
I’m 50 years old and I’m able to see my abs for the first time in my life.

    • @grommitmosner1595 on November 18, 2025 at 1:06 am

this is great. Would you mind giving an example of how you get 3000 cals in . I have a hard time feeling full too soon . Thank You for sharing your experience

    • @catherineochia9996 on November 19, 2025 at 8:03 am

@grommitmosner1595I even struggle to eat 1000 calories of healthy foods in a single meal. Let’s face it, eating a ton of calories of junk food in one meal is, excuse the pun, a piece of cake!😋

    • @Cream-i5u on December 8, 2025 at 4:43 pm

I can’t eat enough in one sitting.

    • @catherineochia9996 on November 19, 2025 at 8:22 am

Yes, it’s extremely difficult to eat a large amount of healthy foods in one sitting.

    • @jadajames4593 on December 4, 2025 at 1:49 pm

Yes I agree and that’s why we don’t do it every day. At least 3-4 times a week

  14. @davidsolis6691 on November 19, 2025 at 3:07 am

Great and practical advice. Thanks Dr Zyrowski. God bless. 🙏

  17. @marianandrews633 on November 20, 2025 at 4:36 pm

I just started OMAD, mostly to reduce insulin and inflammation. I am also using Berberine. My question is can I take D3 and K2 with the same meal.

  18. @RedfinRealtorOKI on November 30, 2025 at 12:47 pm

Yeah, I like having 1 bigger meal a day and when I count the calories it’s usually right on the money

I eat for 2 to 3 hours, 1 day off a week to surplus calories

Kayla Cox hah been doing this almost 10 years on YT

  19. @Cream-i5u on December 8, 2025 at 4:48 pm
