Ok so I read articles on gout few years ago and it was saying that when you have gout, your body is producing it because it is repairing something that is wrong in your body. Now him saying that uric acid is the most powerful antioxidant in the world makes sense, and the symptoms of gout are the negative side effects.

If sugar causes uric acid & uric acid is actually a powerful antioxidant. What then makes sugar so toxic to cells?

    • @melmicsim on July 27, 2025 at 12:33 pm

Isn’t it the highly processed sugars & beet sugars, which make up the majority of sugar? I will only buy cane sugar. Sure, it is pricier, but you really do notice a big difference in taste.

    • @Drberg on July 27, 2025 at 12:55 pm

Uric acid has positive and negative effects. Having too much will cause a negative effect. Sugar can cause that excess in uric acid.

    • @JackieFranklin-l3t on July 27, 2025 at 1:25 pm

@@DrbergAND? WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO INCREASE OUR URIC ACID IN A HEALTHY WAY? IS THERE SOMETHING WE SHOULD EAT MORE OF? A SPECIFIC DIET WE SHOULD FOLLOW?

      @@JackieFranklin-l3tWhy are you shouting?

    • @LindaLord-nr9pr on July 27, 2025 at 6:19 pm

@@JackieFranklin-l3t Fruit! I always had a sweet tooth until I began to add raw vegies & fruit to my diet. To my surprise, just the thought of sugar would make me nauseous. I was running after my energy but I misread the signals my body was sending me, which is very unusual. I once read that white sugar is bleached sugar, but I have no way to verify that information as I m no expert.

After 4 years straight of Doing keto fasting diet. My LDL Cholesterol was always good for 4 years Everything else was Very good my a1c 4.8 and my weight loss had 2 nurses and the doctor telling me that I looked like a different person. LDL cholesterol numbers from 79 to 232 and I started taking my cholesterol medication again and taking the Cholesterol Shots every 2 weeks. Stop eating eggs yolks and whole fat Kefir, whole fat yogurt. BECAUSE that’s the only thing that I started doing after the last 6 months Lab work test. 😢 Still ❤ Love keto fasting diet it’s just that heart disease run in the family and diabetes I promise my doctor in 6 months that my LDL cholesterol will be much better also I was hooked on organic grass fed whole fat Kefir.

    • @melindalancaster9648 on July 27, 2025 at 11:28 am

300 was the normal range for cholesterol…& Drs wanted blood sugar under 150 now they want cholesterol under 230 & sugars under 120

    • @marycarman1730 on July 27, 2025 at 11:57 am

      Keep Strong !

    • @Username4453 on July 27, 2025 at 2:44 pm

Watch Dr.Berg’s video on cholesterol, high cholesterol isn’t bad it’s just the Small Dense* LDL you need to watch which they don’t check on regular blood work. You need to get your sdldl checked.

    • @Luvlinedance on July 27, 2025 at 2:51 pm

I have some similar issues. The genetic whammy of heart disease should not be underestimated. Cholesterol level blood tests are markers of what’s going on inside your arteries. I was told to lose 15 pounds & see a dietician. I was given my grams per day parameters and I monitor only 3 things: fiber intake, carb intake, and saturated fat intake. And I went back on a cholesterol medication. So far, so good and I’m staying with this new regimen. Good luck to you. ❤

    • @DonJohnson-t2b on July 27, 2025 at 3:10 pm

      @@Luvlinedance💪 ❤ Thank you
I’ve been dealing with Heart disease since the 1980s been on difference medication for LDL cholesterol numbers were always bad off and on. But after getting into keto fasting diet all of my Lab work results were very good. So I started eating just about the same thing for years wild salmon or organic chicken or tuna and organic salad etc . But last year I started having organic Kefir whole fat, organic whole fat yogurt. I started walking more than usual, taking vitamins , getting more sleep, using olive oils or avocados oils and everything that I have been doing for 4 years. Even taking pictures of my food and planning my meals for Road trips. It’s got to be the whole fat Kefir and yogurt.

  9. @DianneWebb-soldierofChrist on July 27, 2025 at 11:24 am

I don’t drink or smoke and cut off any sodas whatsoever may 22, when I got home from the ER. NO sugar products in the house. I attend a church that has a potluck EVERY Sunday. And those ladies can cook. Sugar was my weakness for many years from childhood in order to cope, and became addicted to it. Now I look at it as an enemy but still love sweet things that are healthy. Lemons help me quench the sugar craving for some reason I haven’t figured out yet 🤔

    • @Robertmartines on July 27, 2025 at 3:51 pm

What helps me when I crave sugar is to eat a grass fed beef meat stick, or have a tablespoon of butter, just plain on a spoon

  12. @marycarman1730 on July 27, 2025 at 12:00 pm

    Mark 10:27
27 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.
