0:00 Introduction: Why anxiety isn’t in your head
0:29 Anxiety explained
2:16 Blood sugar anxiety
2:45 Cortisol and anxiety
5:01 Poor sleep and chronic anxiety
6:48 Stimulants and anxiety

Anxiety has nothing to do with what's going on in your head and everything to do with what’s going on in your body!

Anxiety is a state or condition of worry, indecision, fear, and tension. Anxiety symptoms often involve feelings or concerns that something bad is going to happen. Anxiety interferes with your ability to feel comfortable in your own skin, your sleep, and your overall state of well-being.

Anxiety can directly affect your body, keeping you in a state of fight or flight. A heart rate variability test can determine how often your body is in this state.

So, what causes anxiety? Here are five common causes.

1. Low blood sugar
If your blood sugar is too low, you will have anxiety. When your blood sugar is low, your brain isn't getting fuel, which sends your body into panic mode. This increases cortisol and adrenaline, which causes the liver to release sugar so the brain can get fuel.

Removing sugar from the diet and replacing it with high-quality protein, healthy fats, and vegetables can help fix this issue.

2. Lack of sleep
Poor sleep increases cortisol, causing you to feel grouchiness, unnecessary worry, and anxiety. Blood sugar problems could also be the reason you aren’t sleeping well.

3. Low vitamin B1
Vitamin B1, or thiamine, is one of the most important vitamins for your nervous system and brain. Anxiety and nervous tension are often the result of a deficiency in this vitamin.

4. Stimulants
Too much caffeine affects your nervous system and depletes vitamin B1. Chocolate, coffee, and certain medications contain stimulants that can cause anxiety.

5. Low protein
Protein isn’t just important for fuel, it’s vital for our body’s biochemistry. If you feel better after eating protein, low protein could be the cause of your anxiety.

Cat nip tea might help your anxiety. My late mother would make the tea for me to help relax and even for a tummy ache. I make cat nip tea to this day and highly recommend. Wishing you peace and love on your healing journey. 🙏💚🫂

For that you don’t need actual sugar in any form. Have some mini shake with erythritol and a little salt and no sugar, prepared for you to have after a meal. Thank me after applying this to your life.

My LDL plummeted from 374 to 58! Triglyceride 72 over time. Just thinking about how much better. My life is doing keto diet.

    • @paulis7319 on January 28, 2026 at 1:59 pm

@CJR434 Yep, we’re in control of what we eat. When we ignore nutrition labels and only eat what tastes good, we’re just “tearing ourselves apart.”

    • @virxest on January 28, 2026 at 2:15 pm

We are responsible for our own health, they are just taking advantage of our lack of knowledge. You are just a source of income for them, nothing more. They’re not going to tell you the actual reasons.

  5. @jenni230 on January 28, 2026 at 11:45 am

For years I was convinced that I had social anxiety. Turned out my thyrod-medication was too high and I did not even have thyrod issues. So I took it for 10 years without needing it.

    • @AmorphousSouffle on January 28, 2026 at 1:47 pm

@jenni230 So was there something masquerading as thyroid issues? How did you figure out you didn’t actually have thyroid problems?

  6. @gretashepherd770 on January 28, 2026 at 12:23 pm

I turn to the Lord when I’m anxious. I just ask Him for help and He takes it all away… Thank you, beloved Father. 💜 🙏 🕊️

      HaHa!!

    • @lydiawall4018 on January 28, 2026 at 3:39 pm

Tried that for 30 years, nada. I realized my belief had made it worse cause I was lying to myself. I came across ENERGY, how my thoughts, beliefs, attitude, words and actions had power, low frequency energy that made things worse. I needed to go to higher frequency positive life style, which I finally understood, I had within me. What Jesus tried to tell people of his day, “the kingdom is within us.” and for which he was murdered.

    • @winktonsmom6965 on January 28, 2026 at 4:18 pm

I’m trying but decades of prayer and I’m still waiting 😢

    • @randyespoda1603 on January 28, 2026 at 4:38 pm

@lydiawall4018 Amen brother, that’s EXACTLY what he taught those around him, but in the generations thereafter, his true message is still UTTERLY misunderstood, his words taken waaaaay too literal. Eden is within, the Kingdom is within. On the outside of ourselves, in truth, NOTHING has ever nor will ever “exist” because it is all a VOID in which holographic mirroring materializes on macroscopic scale what truly exists (on microscopic scale) WITHIN US. The Sun is the ATOM in the center of our energetic being! It was called ATUM in Egypt, ANUM in Sumer, ATMAN in India and yes, ADAM in the Bible! It is the ATOM of creation, Adam specifically the cognate electric SPIRIT thereof, and “Eve” is its FEMININE otherhalve, the emotive SOUL in the magnetic center of its being. None of Genesis is truly to be understood literally because it is a PARABLE speaking in metaphorical tongue.

  8. @AnnaMaria-1977 on January 28, 2026 at 12:27 pm

Low adrenal function. For me boosting vit C helped a lot. As well as taking sups like ashwaganda, rhodiola and zinc to support my adrenal glands.

#1 & #2 describe EXACTLY how it was for me for SO many years! I’d wake up most nights with my heart racing, unable to turn off my brain for hours. Then I’d deal with the repercussions of the lack of sleep all day. I tried every supplement recommended for sleep, but nothing worked, even after going low-carb with intermittent fasting. It was not until I moved my meals to earlier in the day (last meal of the day at least 4-5 hrs. before bed), and do a 30-40 min. walk or yoga after dinner, that I completely fixed my insomnia and anxiety. It was just a blood sugar issue all those years! 🤦🏻‍♀️These days, I consistently sleep 8-9 hrs. straight thru without waking at all (unless we happen to have a late dinner … or cocktails). That small change, along with going low-carb, has been absolutely life-changing! ❤

My panic attacks stopped when I eliminated processed foods from my diet. My blood sugar was way to high, so I brought it down to a daily average of 130. I eat mostly salads, and protein now. No bread, sugar, cereal, donuts or fast food. For carbs I’ll eat a potato with my eggs or make a pot of beans. I am building muscle and look a lot better. My brain works better, my teeth stopped hurting. My gums stopped bleeding. I just did not realize I was my own enemy.

  18. @rzeszow1993 on January 28, 2026 at 2:47 pm

I just want to share something. I’m almost in my mid 50s. I suspect I have ADD. I always had problem with anxiety, couldn’t focus and if I had too many task to finish my brain literally froze. Couldn’t fall asleep and if I did I always woke up few times during night. I took melatonin, Benadryl, valerian roots that helped little. So I bought this mushroom coffee that my coworker recommended. I won’t say the brand bc I don’t want to be accused of some kind of advertising. So I ordered and was drinking it for about two weeks maybe. Mg main goal was to feel good after becoming menopausal woman. So I started falling asleep like a baby, literally after 8pm i couldn’t keep my eyes opened and what is most amazing I slept all night without waking up! I am focused at work, no anxiety, clear thinking, everything finished on time even if I have tone to do. It is just amazing. And I was thinking what changed and then it hit me that I’m drinking this mushrooms. It is just amazing. I will mention it again I son’t have any affiliations with seller. I just want to share that it helped me and i want someone else to feel good.

  19. @MerlinsMagic-d3s on January 28, 2026 at 5:17 pm

What I have learned in 59 years; stay away from sugar, alcohol, junk food, & processed foods; I become

    Also dumped my statin

Honestly, in this nightmare oligarchic dystopia we’ve been forced into, and the seemingly inevitable WWIII that is approaching, people have to be crazy NOT to have anxiety.
