DATA:
Zinc is the 3rd most important nutrient and is involved with over 200 different enzymes.
Zinc allows you to make glutathione, the most powerful antioxidant. It’s highly concentrated in the prostate and helps make sperm and testosterone. Zinc is in the part of the pancreas that produces insulin, and it is also in the hippocampus, the part of the brain responsible for memory. Zinc is vital for wound healing, decreasing gastritis, generating collagen, and hair regrowth.
Here are 7 common zinc deficiency symptoms:
1. Night blindness
2. Low testosterone, estrogen, or progesterone
3. Diarrhea
4. Acne
5. Alopecia
6. Cataracts
7. Thymus gland shrinkage
The thymus is the most important immune gland. It makes the T cells that control and coordinate every aspect of your immune system. T cells help to kill infection and cancer and help prevent autoimmune diseases.
Professor Greg Fahy has conducted fascinating research about the anti-aging possibilities that can occur when you restore the thymus gland. If you can regenerate the thymus gland, you may be able to increase your lifespan by decreasing the risk of cancer and infections.
In a rat study, a thymus from a younger rat was transplanted into an older rat. The rat experienced an increased lifespan and regrowth of the thymus. Rats given zinc had fully recovered thymus function and improved immune function.
Zinc deficiency can be caused by the following:
• Aging
• Gut issues
• Vegan/vegetarian diets
• Alcohol
• Sugar
• Chronic stress
• Medications
When you take zinc, you should also take copper. Thymus extract can also be beneficial to the thymus gland.

Isnt zinc should be taken apart from copper at least by 4hrs so ut can be absorbed properly
Thank you
I asked my doctor to test my zinc levels and was told they don’t test zinc because it’s not important 🤦🏻♀️
😮
Are you sure you were talking to a doctor?
I’d look your doctor straight to his face and say “YOU’RE FIRED”.
Mine won’t even test vit D3. Must be an insurance thing? 😡
It’s the system, it’s a broken system.
My morning routine each day— Vitamin D3 + K2, Zinc, Apple Cider Vinegar supplements. Feeling GREAT. Haven’t been sick in DECADES!!!! : )
You need k2 and magnesium with your d3. I saw it in other dr berg videos. If you take d3 without k2 you could get calcium in your arteries.
@@11957gary Oh, thank you for sharing your concern. Early morning here, so I’m not as specific. The brand name is ZHOU and it actually is D3 + K2. This product can be found in Publix Supermarkets.
What? No Dr Berg video every morning? 😜
How much zinc? Ty
Which D3+K2 do you take
I wanted to clarify that zinc is good for women who went through menopause
1. Night Blindness
2. Low Testosterone
3. Diarrhea
4. Acne
5. Alopecia
6. Cataracts
7. Thymus Gland Shrinking
You are welcome!
Thank you

Much Love to you too💜😇
I never pass up your videos dr . Berg is the goat
Agree😊
Really appreciate your support! Thanks for watching!
I recommend not taking on a empty stomach it could make you feel nauseous if not
Zinc picolinate rarely causes those problems.
@dalesmith @julieannmyers:
Good to know, thx
I have to take zinc with food. I took it in an empty stomach only once and it was horrible!
I need to do my research on Zinc. This is a good start! Happy New week beautiful people 🌞🏵️🌞
Thank you have a nice week also💜😇
Most welcome, Robin! Glad it helps! I have more videos on the channel that might be informative as well. Check them out!
You are really helping us to take care of our bodies. Thank you Dr. Berg. You are great.
Candida feeds on zinc. That was the cause of my zinc deficiency. Zinc is needed for DHT production. Without it I had bad brain fog, no ability to feel sexual pleasure, and difficulty building muscle. Even taking TRT did nothing for me. Testosterone can’t fully function without some of it being converted to DHT is what I’ve come find out. There is research that backs my personal experience out there if there’s any doubt.
I quit taking testosterone years ago because I had quit feeling the benefits of it. When I first started it was great but after a while I didn’t feel a difference if I missed 2-3 weeks or had my shot. What you’re talking about could have been my problem. Definitely going to try zinc.
So what is your point?
What? “Candida feeds on Zinc” ???!!! You’re way off bill clinton
@@Arteshirbe nice. Do some research . It’s true and you can Google it. Your comment was uncalled for Mr. Know-it-all.

“ I had one interest in high school – GIRLS” 😂😂😂
Great video btw
Hi
Wow, the timing of this video. I just got off the phone with my girlfriend and she was interested in getting bloods done, specifically for hormones and zinc. When she got blood work done previously and asked did it include zinc, her GP said “No it doesn’t sure why would you want to know about that?”. Needless to say, she no longer visits this doctor.
Good for her! She deserves better health care.
I did what Dr Berg said for Shingles in less than 10 days I was done with shingles , he helps a lot thank you.
What did you do? My wife just finished a rough bit of shingles?
I wish more of my friends would believe me when I say to monitor a fever, and rarely medicate a fever
Dr. Bergs channel is one of the most important and informative channels anyone can ever watch… I feel it should be shown in schools and universities… the information is so important to health and better living for everyone..
Amen. +. It should be part of the core curriculum vitae. Honestly and truly. Every person needs this knowledge to carry themselves through this life. And when talking to some of these physicians……👍🌞
Great video, Dr. Berg! Zinc is indeed a powerhouse nutrient that often gets overlooked. As a fellow wellness creator, I appreciate how you highlighted its role in immune support and overall health.
It’s fascinating to note that zinc not only aids in enzyme function but also plays a critical role in DNA synthesis and cell division, which is vital for healing and growth. Additionally, I’d like to add that certain populations, such as vegetarians and pregnant women, may be at a higher risk for zinc deficiency due to dietary restrictions.
Encouraging viewers to include zinc-rich foods like nuts, seeds, and legumes in their diets can be a great way to prevent deficiency. Thanks for shedding light on this important topic! Looking forward to more insightful content from your channel!
