That’s how I got my kidney stones which caused my kidneys to shut down and caused sepsis. I am m lucky to be be alive (they said ) Had to be intubated an I spent 10 days in intensive care. Yes I watch what I eat ( to a point ) and people don’t understand.
Do you eat a lot of meat now?
I always pay attention to oxalates in my food. Thanks to you
Drink enough water for the stones prevention ..research consult observe and draw conclusions..
Thanks MAN
Dear Dr. Berg,
I’m feeling quite overwhelmed by all the do’s and don’ts. I’m truly grateful for your support, but as I mentioned before, it’s difficult to know what’s safe to take without risking any negative effects.
I’m not sure if I’m the only one who feels this way, but it would be incredibly helpful to have a simple, user-friendly chart outlining:
Which dietary supplements to take
How much to take
When and how often to take them
Which foods are okay to eat, including how and when to eat them
I apologize if this message sounds a bit unclear—I’m just feeling lost and would really appreciate some clarity.
Thank you again.
This isn’t possible as everyone is individual and has different deficiencies and health issues. He is a supporter of animal foods and related fats…which are MOST nutrient dense. If you have no health issues, you may be able to tolerate certain plant foods but the majority of your diet should come from animal products. If you have health issues, he recommends the carnivore diet to eliminate the inflammatory foods (meat, eggs, butter are not inflammatory)…and see how you feel. As far as supplementation, he recommends D3+K2, magnesium, omegas (his are great as for sure)…definitely electrolytes if you are going carnivore…as all these are usually low in MOST people, anyhow. Unless you have the others tested…or have specific issues…he cannot possibly list for you what/how much you need to take (though recommend dosages are in the package). After you fix your food (essentially ridding your body of most/all carbohydrates and calming the inflammatory process) you can search his channel with a key word to see what content he has on that particular ailment or supplement.
Hope this helps!
@steadfast20-4-26 thanks. I was told to do a genetic test to help me know if I have the proper enzymes to break certain foods. Etc… what can you say about that test??
Have been keto and then carnivore for 11 years.
99% of the diet is reduce starch, “sugars” and seed oils on a regular daily basis.
There is no end to minutia but you might want to focus on other important life issues rather than be consumed learning about healthy eating all the time.
@@TheRealBrook1968that’s maybe why you don’t have health issues (if that’s the case). Typically, overwhelmed people are behind the proverbial 8-ball with lost time.
@@daniellebarazin9408 I’d fix your food first. There is a very low chance you’d carry that. Only ridding your body of inflammation…can you sense there is something more (molds, toxicity, genetic mutations, etc)…with expensive tests. Keep in mind if you have been heavily plant-based…then they, themselves, have anti-nutrients which will block absorption of essential nutrients. Then look further if you are missing anything.
❤❤ Dr Eric Berg is the reason that me and my brother is no longer diabetic T2 diabetes so thankful to God for everything. Amen
If I carried on the way I did it think I would be diabetic. Since watching Dr berg everything that I ever had wrong with my body has gone!
@GmeisterW Hey there, can you tell us an example of a certain issue within your body that you have been suffering from and have gotten relief from it by applying Dr.Berf advice and what advice was that?
I am an old lurker here and would love to read some stuff to learn more about various healthy ways of life.
@@NoProof7spots on my back, white dots on my nails, mouth ulcers, all the time, I’ve heard carbs deplete vitamins and minerals so cut back on that and eating real food not ultra processed food, also take Dr bergs magnesium that also helps, also contains Zinc which i was deficient in.
Amen
I’m starting to realise magnesium seems to be the king of fixes 😂
Spinach is high too
DEFINITELY SOOOOOO ❤
Yeah verry high in oxalate
Love your advice, but….ear almonds, donteat almonds…eat spinach, dont eat spinach , eat casein protein before bed, dont eat three hours before bed….. I understand how people get frustrated…me, too
Spinach is Extremely High in oxalates!!!! Be sure to Cook spinach thoroughly, as that will drastically reduce the oxalate load!!!
@@gloriamaryhaywood2217 Also add cheese to it.
Carnivore for a year and gout hit me like crazy the whole time until I added a piece of citrus, orange or lemon, back into my daily diet. The pain is gone. Uric acid needs vitamin C to usher out of the body through the urine. Can’t become a dogmatic carnivore.
This is how oxalate dumping works. It’s not that carnivore is inherently bad, it’s that you have too many oxalates in your body already from the way you used to eat. Eating citrus is just slowing the dumping down for you, otherwise it may become too painful to handle all at once. I never ate many vegetables and I have no issues doing carnivore, no pain or other oxalate dumping symptoms at all.
@@rosethorn0232that could be. I had extreme gout for the entire time and could not bend my left knee for months at a time. Since reintroducing lemon, I can jump off my front steps and go jogging without pain
Weird. Carnivore cured my gout
@@rosethorn0232 I absolutely love meat and feel so much more energized when I eat mostly meat, ..and red- meat in particular! But I Can’t see myself ever being satisfied with consuming ONLY meat!?
But for those who can and do go totally Carnivore I say more power to them!😎 I’m sure it’s improved their health by leaps and bounds!!!😊
So they tell you to eat almonds because they’re healthy. But they also tell you to not eat almonds because they’re not healthy
Exactly, am a bit confused. Am watching this short while eating almonds (so healthy?) but they just stuck in my throat when I heard it would be better to avoid eating almonds. As English is not my mother tongue I was not sure if I understood well.
@@Judith-n5dYou understood it good:.
No almonds😢
@@Judith-n5dAlmonds have oxalate, a high amount of oxalate in it. If you are suffering from joint pain you might want to consider cutting off almonds for a while and other foods that have high oxalate content. That’s what he said about it. You can experiment with yourself to figure out whether this really works or not. I certainly have it in consideration now.
@@Judith-n5djust eat what you want bro if you dont have any health problems it wont affect you easily
I sure learned the hard way about the problem with almond products. It is also hard on the thyroid.
each doctor contradicts one another so much, that nowadays no one knows who is correct and who is not
So doc can u plz give list of things i should eat to get all i need or at least must
OMG!. I wonder why after all I still have joint pains!. Almond!.
Almonds aren’t near as high in oxalates as Spinach or Chard! Make sure you’re Not eating too many raw greens!!!
Almonds are high in magnesium too. Holy 🐄 🐮 🐄! What the heck can you eat.
Yep
Eat whatever you want but cook the greens.
Meat, butter and eggs.
He has said that you can eat for example spinach but put cheese on it to counter attack the oxalates
You should eat in moderation and fasting this 2 are powerful key for healthy lifestyle
People who have problems with kidneys should avoid foods that contain oxalates
Helpful reminder. Thank you, Dr Berg 💯
Best channel ever.
Thank you very much Dr. Berg. Your videos are very helpful to a lot of us. Continue doing the good work. Don’t mind those who speak ill about you.
This must be why my lower back which gives me terrible pain. Thanks for this info.❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
Wow I didn’t know about the almond flour. I’ll keep that in mind
