You don’t need to go to the dentist or purchase whitening strips for white teeth. Baking soda is nonabrasive and can be used to gently scrub your teeth to remove stains and plaque. You can combine baking soda with 3% hydrogen peroxide to whiten teeth at home.

Combine 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 3 drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide and 8 drops of water. This mixture breaks the bonds of tooth stains, leaving you with whiter teeth. It’s also beneficial for eliminating bacteria and reducing plaque formation.

Use a toothbrush to gently polish your teeth with this paste for 1 to 2 minutes. Rinse your mouth thoroughly when you’re finished. Do this 2 to 3 times per week for a few weeks for whiter teeth. Teeth whitening should be done gradually to avoid damaging the gums and tooth enamel.

Oil pulling is an ancient practice that involves swishing oil in the mouth for 10 to 20 minutes. Coconut oil is great for oil pulling. It’s high in lauric acid, a potent anti-microbial that is effective against bacteria, fungus, and candida. It also helps with bad breath. Research has found oil pulling to be as effective as prescription mouthwash against gingivitis.

Vitamin C and glucose compete in the body. Bleeding gums are often caused by low vitamin C. If you consume a lot of sugar, glucose will block your vitamin C, which will show up in your gums.

Oil pulling using coconut oil definitely works. Even my periodontic surgeon remarked to his assistant that he’d never seen such a clean mouth. It will take about 2 weeks of oil pulling every day to get a really clean mouth and gums. The only thing I wonder about is whether it dissolves the glue that holds my crowns down.

Nice synchronicity: I started six days ago to whiten one of my front teeth and the three teeth below it by softly scrubbing them with a cotton wool stick, dipped in a bit of 3 percent Hydrogen Peroxide, nothing else. These teeth were really darkish grey already and stood well out from the rest of my teeth, but now already you can’t tell the difference anymore. As it works so well I will continue whitening the rest of my teeth with your recipe, as I think a toothbrush can reach all parts of my teeth. Thank you so much, dr. Berg, for all your valuable advice and tips, they have helped me already so many times to keep my body healthy by healthy means, although I’m 70 years old but still completely fit, without using any regular medicines, just supplements.

Iron stains in toilets, stubborn burned on food in stainless pan, soking and rubbing stsin on white laundry, and yes, tooth whitening. She would use plain toothpate, a drop of hydrogen peroxide, and dip the toothbrush into dry baking soda. We were also not allowed to drink many colas, coffee, or teas until we were well into our teens. I am 69 have all my teeth, and I get compliments on ” my beautiful smile” God Bless you mom.

I do, however, drink caffeine free diet coke with a straw. I never drank red wine at a party, I stuck with white or a lite beer. I’m glad now for my decisions with my straight white teeth. 😁

It’s very important to NEVER spit the coconut oil into the drain. It will solidify and clog your drain! Always spit into the garbage. 🙂
