6:20 Epley maneuver for vertigo at home

Today, I’m going to show you how to get rid of vertigo for good. The most common type of vertigo is known as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, or BPPV. This type of vertigo is caused by tiny calcium crystals that have broken off and migrated to the incorrect part of the ear, resulting in dizziness and spinning sensations.

There are tiny hairs in the ear connected to nerves that pick up information and send it to your brain. A gel keeps this area sensitive, and calcium crystals act as weights in the gel to enhance its effectiveness.

Calcium-binding proteins hold the calcium in the gel, which is regulated by vitamin D3. Many people with vertigo are extremely deficient in vitamin D!

Vitamin D controls 2,400 different genes and is essential for immune function, healthy blood pressure levels, and acts as a potent anti-inflammatory agent. There is a tremendous amount of research supporting the use of vitamin D3 as an effective remedy for vertigo. Still, some research does not utilize nearly enough vitamin D. To prevent vertigo, you need at least 6,000 to 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 daily.

Vitamin D does not work without magnesium. Magnesium is one of the master controllers of calcium, so a combination of vitamin D3 with magnesium is one of the best things you can do for vertigo.

Vitamin K2 tells the body where to put calcium, and without enough, you can end up with calcium in the wrong places.

For long-term vertigo relief, take at least 10,000 IU of vitamin D daily, with magnesium and vitamin K2. This problem could take a couple of weeks or more to address, so in the meantime, the Epley maneuver can provide immediate vertigo relief.

Anyone ever felt like there is a tiny, tiny (smaller then a salt crystal) bit of dirt in there ear drum that you can just NOT scratch out when suffering from vertigo?

  11. @starkefir57 on January 23, 2026 at 11:55 am

❤ Does anyone else experience an increased desire for sweet foods following a meal?

    • @EJLily686 on January 23, 2026 at 12:58 pm

When i get urges for sweets I check to make sure I’m getting enough chromium and tryptophan in my foods.sources:whole grains, lean protein, fruits and veggies.

    • @fedupamerican296 on January 23, 2026 at 12:58 pm

Definitely. I was raised by Italians. No meal was complete without dessert.

  12. @DonJohnson-t2b on January 23, 2026 at 12:15 pm

❤ Ditching sugar was the best decision I ever made! I’ve been doing it for a while now and I can already see the difference in my energy levels , most of my pain in my legs and feet was gone in weeks. My mindset was clear, my skin color came back also my hair was getting ready to fall out especially with 4 brothers who have no hair now as we age and having diabetes and heart disease. Thank goodness for finding out about Keto diet. My diabetes is gone for me and 1 of my brothers and yes heart disease also.

  13. @shannonb7438 on January 23, 2026 at 12:47 pm

That would make a lot of sense as to why my bppv is worse in the winter!

  14. @gloriacote2074 on January 23, 2026 at 2:34 pm
