Understanding the Heart by Dr. Stephen Hussey Book Link:
If you have poor circulation in the legs and feet, you might experience the following: edema, swelling, painful feet, and cramps in the feet and calves.
According to Dr. Stephen Hussey, author of "Understanding the Heart," the heart spins the blood, acting as a mechanism to create structured water. Similar to the way a tree pushes water up from the roots, increasing structured water throughout the circulatory system can improve circulation.
You can increase structured water in your blood with infrared. Over 50% of the sun's energy is infrared! Increasing sun exposure can help improve the circulation in your legs and your heart function.
Infrared increases nitric oxide, which supports the arteries and healthy blood pressure. Vitamin D from the sun also increases nitric oxide.
If you have edema in the feet, potassium is one of the best natural diuretics for getting rid of excess fluid. Eliminating sugar and starches from your diet can also stop fluid retention, especially in the lower extremities.
High sugar consumption depletes vitamin B1. If you’re experiencing tingling and pain in the bottom of your feet, consuming benfotiamine—a fat-soluble form of vitamin B1—may help.
Cramping in your legs and feet can also be related to a magnesium deficiency. For the best results, take 800 mg per day in the evening for several weeks. It’s also important to avoid compression socks, which can further restrict blood circulation.
Diosmin is an excellent remedy for varicose veins. If you have varicose veins, edema, or any other problems with the lower part of your body, avoid intense exercise. Instead, aim for light exercise like walking and try these simple leg circulation exercises!
What about cold feet? Cold feet are generally caused by an iodine deficiency due to a low thyroid. Sea kelp is one of the best sources of iodine.

Thank you, Dr. Berg! Your tips on improving blood circulation in the legs are so practical and easy to follow. I appreciate how you always explain the science behind everything in a simple way.
I heard that the heart is not a pump at all but it send electrical impulses that open and closes the blood valves in the circulatory system which propels the blood through the body. The body is very electrical. Red light thins the blood viscosity because It thins the water it contains and it also supplies energy directly to the mitochondria. Which means we have photo receptors like plants yall. Red light shining in a room will put you to sleep and it can decrease inflammation in your joints.
Incroyable merci
Pottenger’s Human channel talks about red light therapy and fasting a lot. He’s a smaller channel but shares all his research like Dr Berg. God bless you
The heart is a vortexed system.
At this point I’m wondering if this man has a crystal ball based on how accurately his videos align with my needs 😅
Same.

Exactly
I have lots of Mg glycinate but forget to take enough.
Inner thigh leg cramps can literally cripple me- as a result of extended exercise and too much caffeine.
Thanks for the continued reminder.
Thank you for this Dr Berg. My feet and ankles have been my disability for so long. No cramps but pain has been making it so difficult to walk and just live. This is amazing information, thank you so much and God bless you
No problem. Glad to share the info I have on this topic.
I’ve had noticeably heavy legs/hereditary venous insufficiency since my early 20s. I’m 31, and sometimes it’s really bad; a vein has already burst. Compression stockings are a blessing in those cases—even if they weren’t recommended here. I’ve already unconsciously done these calf exercises while sitting or rapid up-and-down movements (some people interpret this as nervousness). To counteract this, I generally try to increase blood flow, arterial elasticity, and reduce arterial plaque. I’m physically active, increase nitric oxide (a diet rich in nitrates), visit the sauna, get massages, reduce stress, eat ginger, turmeric, cocoa beans, citrus fruits, green tea, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin K2, nattokinesis, etc.
1 hour of sun every day with minimal clothing. Just want to say Dr. Berg. At 54 years old I passed my arduous pack test just shy of 40 minutes. To pass this test you have to hike 3 miles in under 45 minutes carrying 45 pounds and you’re not allowed to run. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without you transforming my health and physical fitness!
You did great. Keep up the good work.
That’s intense. Very impressive. How did you train? How did you work your way up to that ability? Thanks and congrats.

No word of a lie, I was literally researching do’s and don’ts for wearing compression socks and then Dr Bergs video popped up what a coincidence I recently had a hip replacement and was doing those exercises but I suffer from oedema and ankle swelling. Thanks Dr Berg always on time.🇬🇧
I don’t like compression stockings. They cause itching.

I’ve been trying to tell my sister to stop wearing compression stockings, but she won’t listen. If I even wear tight leggings, my legs start to hurt.
Many of your recommendations do not cost a penny and are so beneficial like this one. Sometimes free , inexpensive and common sense are better & your knowledge is what makes this channel so beneficial. Thanks!

50 years ago in pre-med, we were taught that the calf muscle was the bodies second heart pump. Movement is medicine.
Thank You 💖
Its true, I lived sedentary because I was depressed with my life, and now I feel horrible when I lay down all the time. If walking/standing up I feel fine, but going out for real walks is an issue for me at the moment due to health anxiety (its all related). Really walking does good to your body, we arent made to sit or lay down other than to rest and or sleep. I can tell everyone, except to myself because I just have no motivation and no one that motivates me. Depression sucks if you are all on your own.
❤
@@AnnaMaria-1977can you take a whole food vitamin? Also vitamin D3/K2 with magnesium glycinate should help improve your health & depression 😊

Swimming, 30 minutes walking every day, putting your legs up whenever you can, cold water on your legs, and eating healthy are very important to the circulation of the blood 💯💯💯💯💯

@@mariannasantorinaiou3535 cold water?
@robmcdonald7264 yes!!!!! I NEVER put hot water on my body!
I feel super and energetic after cold showers!!!!
Cold water? In the winter my legs and feet are always cold. I feel cold air creeping from the floor. Warm water works best for me.
@@mariannasantorinaiou3535 Oh, that just absolutely makes me cringe at the thought. Do you live in a warm climate?
@@benton-benton The science behind cold water therepy is interesting. I think Dr Berg has done a video on it. It builds up brown fat, strengthens the immune system and lifts your mood. I put the water on to cold for a minute after I have a shower. It is unpleasant. But afterward I feel fantastic! But, I agree, when my legs are sore heat is more of a comfort.
The calf muscles have been called our second hearts

I have compression socks during work where I stand a lot and they are heaven, really give so much more energy. But if I wear them at home, I get anxiety I just have to take them off or I get all jittery and cranky. It is so weird that socks can cause that. But honestly I think the ones I have are a tad bit too tight for me, they leave lots of marks on my legs if I take them off. I know they are called compression socks for a reason but they shouldnt be uncomfortable. I try to extend my tolerance but my body so clearly says get those things off RIGHT NOW. I have same with make up or clothes that constrict my throat, so maybe its also to blame my autistic issues with textures.
Good morning everyone! Let’s circulate some love and respect all around today! Thank you Dr Berg for wisdom and great information!💛👌🏽🙏🏽💙🌞
Dr Berg, whenever you’re able to, please discuss Nattokinase, Serrapeptase, lumbrokinase, bromelain, in a really thorough and detailed way, like an update to previous videos you’ve posted before.
Most researchers learn health and then either keep it to themselves or make you pay large amounts of $$ to have access. Appreciate that you share the knowledge you’ve accumulated for free on here for the betterment of all. Appreciate you Dr Berg!
Gently rebouncing (not jumping) creates circulation too. It also drains your lymphs and may reduce water retaining.
barbara Oneill promotes that
I love the channel “Earth and Owl” on YouTube for my rebounding exercise she so much fun and videos for all levels. Do you have a favorite channel?
I have just started lying on the floor with my feet on the wall. Last night while lying there, I thought doesn’t this make it harder on my heart having to pump blood up the legs. And, today you provided a solution to my delimma by pumping feet
Amazing
Thank you so much
Rebounding works well too. It helps with blood flow and lymph.
