Summed it all up perfectly. I’ve been following the Keto diet for 6 months now and have lost 20 kgs (over 40 lbs) and my whole family is asking me what I did hahaha. This is the perfect vid to show them because it’s all exactly what I’ve been following πŸ˜€

    • Dana Alkhairy on March 23, 2020 at 7:38 am

ZEUS ofthe AEGIS did you count macros

    • CallMe Alex on April 5, 2020 at 1:41 am

Dana Alkhairy u only count macros if u want to build muscle this is to cut down

    • ZEUS ofthe AEGIS on April 5, 2020 at 3:58 am

@Dana Alkhairy Sorry for the late reply, I only took estimates. I needed to keep my calories under 2500, so I’d adjust the quantity of each item I’d eat accordingly.

    • S Khan on July 6, 2020 at 5:33 am

Have u done gym during the 6 months diet??cz actually I can’t go fr gym

    • ZEUS ofthe AEGIS on July 6, 2020 at 3:40 pm

@S Khan No I didn’t go to the gym at all during the 6 months. I was too busy myself, so all I could do was follow the diet.

Yes! It works! I’ve lost 19lbs & 5 1/2 inches since February 07, 2018. Do your research, get salt in your diet or pickle juice (my favorite) & stay below 20 net carbs a day. Stay positive

    • Sweet Tooth on April 14, 2018 at 11:30 pm

Beck W yes you can do both.

I think rice comes as a major dish in most Asia & the Middle East, yet extreme goals require extreme measures, so the only way for me to continue without having to sneak and eat rice or pasta from time to time is to replace them with cauliflower rice.

    • leeleeturn on January 20, 2022 at 8:46 pm

I love to cook Asian food and yet I never eat rice. Good thing I love lots of flavor! Just leave off the rice and have low carb veggies, meat and sauce! Yum! Even more flavor without the rice to dilute it. Tofu is also low carb, by the way. For sweet dishes use erythritol or allulose to sweeten. Tastes almost just like sugar, practically no aftertaste. I can make a mean Vietnamese dipping sauce (nuac cham) using erythritol! I’m not crazy about so called cauliflower rice, unless it’s processed and packaged so you can’t taste the cauliflower aftertaste LOL. One thing I sometimes do is put a dish over mixed greens. Like scoop chili or spaghetti sauce on a pile of mixed salad greens instead of salad dressing. It’s really good, believe it or not. Add sour cream, cheese, pepper flakes, fennel seed (to Italian inspired food like spaghetti), cumin seed (to Mexican inspired food like chili) etc. Make it simple or use your imagination! It’s easy, plus you get your veggies. Finally, there is a low carb bread now called Carbnaught that is really good. I get it at Sprouts. It has only one gram net carb and 50 calories per slice! It toasts up wonderfully as buttered garlic bread or a cheese sandwich. It also makes a nice cold sandwich. Bottom line, experiment with cooking low carb. Look at recipes and read other people comments on tricks they use. It’s amazing what good, satisfying food you can have on this diet. I could never stick to a low-fat, low-cal diet because I can’t stand to go around hungry and craving.

I know I’m late but I just want to thank the website for helping me on the Keto diet.
Browsing the website, it shows how many grams of carbs are on each food; whether it’d be nuts, vegetables, and sweeteners.
I’m just starting on Keto and it really helped me. I recommend checking the website out.

Bacon has a very unhealthy amount of salts, but otherwise its a good source for natural fat and protein.

  18. Pete Coventry on July 4, 2021 at 11:21 am

YOu can use MCT oil though – which you can get from Amazon it keeps me going and I have it in 2 cups of tea a day – one at 8am and one at 8p after my one meal at 6PM the weight if falling off! I had 2 burgers last night with cheese on – they were 6.6G each so I had 13G of carbs yesterday and went the whole 18 hours without feeling hungry πŸ˜‰

  19. Stay Kind✿ on July 17, 2021 at 5:48 pm

“You can eat when you’re hungry, until you’re satisfied.”
    It makes me satisfied πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
