Did you know you could have normal blood vitamin D levels but still have a vitamin D deficiency?

Vitamin D resistance interferes with vitamin D levels and vitamin D absorption. Genetic problems, Lyme disease, and certain infections downgrade the vitamin D receptor. A deficiency in zinc, magnesium, or vitamin K2 will inhibit vitamin D function in the body. High cortisol, darker skin, diabetes, obesity, and other health conditions will also affect vitamin D absorption.

The RDA for vitamin D is only 600 IU when you actually need 8,895 IU every day! Research has shown that low vitamin D levels increase your risk for viral infections. People with tumors and cancer have been found to have low vitamin D.

New research has shown the benefits of vitamin D for autoimmune conditions. Dr. Coimbra from Brazil has used high vitamin D levels to treat patients with autoimmune conditions, and the results have been amazing. Another doctor using high doses of vitamin D3 has over 900 video testimonials of improvement in people with autoimmune diseases.

One eye doctor in Germany wrote a book about using high doses of vitamin D3 for glaucoma and other eye-related problems. “The Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics 4th Edition” addressed vitamin D resistance and vitamin D dosage of 50,000 IU to up to 500,000 IU!

Vitamin D allows you to absorb more calcium, so when you take high doses of vitamin D, make sure you’re not consuming calcium supplements. Take vitamin D with magnesium because it helps regulate calcium.

I had no idea how crucial vitamin D is for fighting inflammation and autoimmune diseases! The link between vitamin D resistance, magnesium, and our immune system is mind-blowing. It’s crazy that so many people might be deficient without knowing it. Time to rethink those RDAs. Thanks for sharing!

Yah right?! This really connected a lot of dots. My family is very low cancer but high incidence of Alzheimer’s and I believe, if I’m not mistaken, that that is partially an inflammation issue

That is my hope that come January, RFK will clean up much in our healthcare system, and part of what he wants funded is impartial scientists to study those vitamin and mineral standards. Currently they are set at the bare minimum to keep a soldier alive. Based on post WWI studies. We might have improved our measuring capabilities (the sensitivity), and the precision of that data. We were significantly different now, than we were then.

    • @denisegaylord382 on December 2, 2024 at 7:14 am

@@ElleeZee289my understanding is that all Alzheimer’s is from inflammation. Usually triggered by too high of a blood sugar level, for decades. Some call it insulin insensitivity or resistance. But many patients if fed keto or carnivore diets improve their cognitive function. Instead the USDA/FDA push diets high in carbohydrates and big pharma drugs.

I have had some unfortunate health events, and also have a benign paravertebral benign tumor at T 6 on the Mediastinum…not getting any help here in Ireland from the Drs. See no evil, hear no evil. They don’t want to know, despite visible changes, and Nerve issues, Muscle wasting, breathing problems and Digestive issues. At least with Dr Berg I can work on my health. I am so so glad and grateful we get all this thoroughly researched information by a Dr who really cares! Many Drs in Ireland are full of Ego….it is just awful. My pain levels increased and now I’m told I have an autoimmune disease ontop of my other autoimmune disease. Thru your wisdom, videos, etc, I decided to help myself at this point. I started IF, vitamin d, magnesium, n now I’m doing a prolonged fast. It got so bad I was having trouble walking I was in so much pain, sitting, etc. I’m going to do this and eliminate all this inflammation that I know is the root cause. Thank you so much. I have been managing it with fish oil, green tea, 20,000iu per day Vit D, Vit K2, zinc and I have just upped my magnesium to 2 tablets per day to see if that helps. Unfortunately I have had to also take 2 x Arthrexin per day otherwise I am in too much pain. I hate having the anti inflammatories but I am trying hard to reduce the inflammation. My ankles were so weak I couldn’t stand on uneven ground. My rheumatologist checked my vitamin D and it was at 14. Almost gone. My doctor put me on 5000iu a day and within months, I was strong again. I never knew what low vitamin D could cause. My regular doctor never checked my vitamin and mineral levels and if he had, I wouldn’t had gone through the pain and suffering.
