Apply these healthy habits today for your best health yet!
1. Only eat when you’re hungry.
2. Only drink when you’re thirsty.
Over-consuming liquid dilutes electrolytes, especially sodium, which can cause dehydration.
3. Carbonated water is more hydrating.
4. Find the diet that works best for you.
5. Practice intermittent fasting.
Intermittent fasting allows your body to recycle damaged proteins, create new tissues, clean up pathogens, and eliminate bacteria, viruses, and mold.
6. Stop snacking between meals.
Snacking keeps insulin high. Stopping snacking can significantly improve your health, even if you don’t change your diet.
7. Lower your carb intake.
The most important thing to look at when reading a label is the carbohydrates. You should consume no more than 30 grams of carbohydrates per day.
8. Request a fasting insulin test.
A fasting insulin test can help you prevent diabetes before it becomes a problem.
9. Test your vitamin D levels.
You need at least 10,000 to 20,000 IU of vitamin D per day. Magnesium is vital for proper vitamin D function.
10. Get plenty of potassium.
You need 4700 mg of potassium per day. Potassium calms the nervous system, lowers blood pressure, and increases energy.
11. Avoid synthetic vitamins and look for high-quality, nutrient-dense supplements.
12. Red meat is the most nutrient-dense protein, vital for health and well-being, energy levels, and healthy blood sugars.
13. Counter past antibiotic use with a homemade probiotic mixture to help restore your gut microbiota.
14. Overtraining can deplete your testosterone. Rest is vital to achieve muscle growth and to keep your hormones balanced.
15. Take vitamin B1 if you stray from your healthy diet.
16. Choose a natural source like beef liver or liver supplements if you need more iron.
17. Focus on exercise for age-related atrophy.
18. Take 50,000 to 100,000 IU of vitamin D before surgery.
19. Invest in a good water filter to remove forever chemicals from your drinking water.

The best tip ever is intermittent fasting. That has been a game changer for me Dr Berg. Thank you sir
Intermittent fasting is good for clearing g out bad stuff
Dear Dr Berg, your continued dedication to human health is much appreciated! We thank you and very grateful to have you 🙏
As a 66 yo male, following Dr. Berg since lockdown, I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been. My own maxim, as a result of his guidance is: Sugar is cancer; Hunger is thirst; water is life. When I think I’m thirsty, I’ll drink. When I’m hungry, I’ll drink… and if I’m still hungry after a few minutes, I’ll eat. I seldom need to eat more than once a day. Happy Easter, all.
Happy Easter! He is risen, Hallelujah!
🙏 AMEN!!!!! Happy Easter God bless!!! 👍🏻 😊
Amen! Happy Easter ❤
Happy Easter. Good on you, I need to follow your maxim.
Same for me. Not 66 yr old 😂😂 but i am healthiest after following dr berg too
❤Back in 2017 I had nerve pain That was So painful. Each doctor told me because I had different heart problems and had 2 open heart surgery. They can’t do anything about it just Shots and pills I didn’t want any more Shots because of a nurse told me that Shots can mess with my heart and eyes Etc. I started just sitting or laying in bed. Nurses were coming to my house 2 times a week after I found out about Dr Berg right away I started taking Vitamin supplements from the local stores didn’t help much. In 2022 I started buying Dr Berg vitamins 💯 🎯 around 2023 I was Free of pain Thanks for your help sir. God is good
💯 ❤
Yes it always pays to get the best supplements. The cheaper ones are just garbage.

Intermittent fasting was a game changer for me.
Try just fasting — one 24 hour fast every week and a 72 hour fast every month. This comes from Paul C. Bragg who wrote The Miracle of Fasting. No food at all and drink only purified water.
@Chicago_Cabbie I have his book. Fascinating read.
I try to fast at least 18 hours daily.
And full day fast , on occasion.
Heard some say that more than 36 hours risks muscle loss.
Maybe that’s so with folks that have little body fat.
Same
2020 was the year I started and still going. It completely changed my life. Thanks to a friend that talked me into try it 🙏🏻 It’s part of my lifestyle now
@@williamevans6522 the body has a healing system. It can heal itself. The biggest healing begins after fasting 3 days.
About 5-6 years ago I was way overweight and severely unhealthy, I discovered Dr Berg and lost almost half my body weight in about 6-12 months. Since then I’ve kept it all off. I still do OMAD except one day per week where I can eat/drink whatever I want throughout the day… I am the healthiest person I know, I don’t get sick, I don’t have aches or pains, I have unlimited energy, I rarely feel exhausted or run down, I can work harder than anyone around me, I perform better cognitively, physically, and my emotional stability has improved. I’ve become more connected to what’s around me, and I tend to be more in control of everything in my vicinity.
Fixing your food will fix your life….
Me too. I’m 56 and work circles around the poor guys half my age. I want to shake them and instill some sense into them “Quit the childish video games! Quit the carbs! Become a man!” But I know it takes more patience than that: every meaningful change requires a painful catalyst?
@@jayhay1237there’s nothing wrong with playing some video games on your downtime. Don’t you boomers watch TV?

Dr. Berg changed and improved my life years ago and I will continue to follow his advice . He is a blessing to humanity!
Dr.Berg is an honest man! When you can admit when you’re wrong we all learn. Thank you Dr.Berg. ❤
Thank you for your comment. Sharing this so you guys won’t make the same mistakes that I did 🙂
Thanks for the tips Dr Berg. Here are some of the highlights:
1. Eat Only When Hungry: Avoid the habit of eating out of boredom or routine.
2. Drink When Thirsty: Understand that hydration needs may vary; avoid excessive drinking.
3. Try Different Diets: Experiment with various eating plans to discover what works best for you.
4. Intermittent Fasting: Match your eating frequency to your body’s natural rhythms for better health benefits.
5. Importance of Vitamin D: Monitor vitamin D levels as it plays a crucial role in overall health and recovery.
6. Focus on Strength Training: Prioritize weight training to prevent muscle atrophy and maintain hormonal balance.
7. Invest in Water Quality: Use a good water filter to eliminate contaminants for better health.
Key Insights:
1. Mindful Eating: The practice of eating only when hungry helps foster a better relationship with food, preventing compulsive eating habits. This insight reveals that greater awareness of hunger cues can benefit overall health and weight management.
2. Thirst Awareness: The recommendation to drink only when thirsty challenges conventional hydration advice and underscores the importance of listening to your body’s needs rather than adhering to arbitrary guidelines about liquid intake.
3. Personalized Diet Approaches: Encouraging experimentation with various diets allows individuals to discover what nutrients and foods enhance their personal health. This individualized approach may lead to sustainable long-term dietary habits.
4. Cycle of Eating: Intermittent fasting has gained popularity for its various metabolic benefits. The connection between meal timing and metabolic health implies a deeper understanding of when and how to eat for optimal well-being.
5. Insulin Control: Monitoring fasting insulin levels can provide crucial insights into potential diabetes risk, making it an essential aspect of preventative health care that is often overlooked in routine tests.
6. Vitamin D’s Role: Adequate vitamin D levels are intimately linked with numerous health outcomes, including immune function and mental health, particularly during pregnancy and recovery from surgery.
7. Water Quality Matters: The emphasized need for water filtration highlights the often-ignored fact that contaminants in tap water can pose serious health risks, advocating for proactive measures in maintaining water safety.
Hope this helps! 😊
thank you for this!
Thank you so much! ❤
This is great. Thanks for the work you put into this.
i was in Saudi Arabia last week, and the good doctor is very popular there. there is also some sort of russian youtube channel that has all the doctor’s videos translated. This world popularity is 100% deserved.
Yes, it’s true. I’m from Russia and we have all these videos in Russian. Anyway I prefer watching in English. ☺☺😍😍 I follow only this doctor. 🙏😌😌😍😍🤩 I would like to say plenty of thanks for all these knowledge. ❤
Indeed!

Omg, many thx Dr. Berg
I’ve been doing these 3 things most of my life;
Eating only one hungry
Drinking water only when thirsty
Plus, love carbonated water, (in glass bottles) I squeeze fresh lemon to go with 🎉
Drink green tea (never on an empty stomach gives me serious acid)
& most nights, drink turmeric & ginger tea before bed –
Happy Easter All (who celebrate) 🎉
Because of you I started strict keto with intermittent and multi-day fasting last July. I added L. Reuteri/Gasseri ferment when you introduced Dr. Davis. I am 63 yrs old and off of all 17 medications that built up over 25 years, I have now lost 56 pounds, and the inflammation causing 4 autoimmune diagnoses is gone. Last year at this time size 14, today size 4!!! I can never say Thank You enough times, Dr. Berg!!
I’m at the point of combining reuteri and gasseri but not sure how to do it — equal amounts into a blender? It’s my first gasseri and there seems to be an inch of gasseri whey at the bottom. On my 13th day of reuteri I had bad constipation which is rare for me, so I haven’t had it since. Though I’m desperate to get some relief from scratching all night with psoriasis cos I haven’t had more than 2 hrs night sleep since New Year, i don’t want to take too much of SIBO yoghurt today and risk constipation pain again. Can I take 1/2 U.S. cup immediately and another 6 hrs later? Thanks.
@@johncollins8304 I combine them in my ferment. I’ve never had this issue even though I was severely constipated for 45 years of my life. I eat 1/4 cup in the morning and 1/4 cup with my 2: p.m. meal
Down 60 pounds so far here!
@Dana-oi6bj You go!!! I went keto because I a caregiver for 9 years to 4 family members with dementia. Only 1 left this year, my Mother, and I wanted off of all of the meds. The weight loss was an added bonus!! Keep going ☺️
Love your story, makes me so happy! I was a drug and alcohol addicted mess when I finished my 20 years in the military. Combat and brain injuries had the Army/VA put me on all sorts of pills. Starting IF and quitting sugar and all the other garbage was done, in part, thanks to Doc Berg. He truly does a yeomans work.
My dad was rushed to ER earlier this week as he couldn’t read words (he told me he didn’t understand what the letters were or what he was even looking at). Mom asked him questions about popular topics today & it took him 20 minutes to answer. He has stage II kidney disease & told me the Dr says he needs to avoid potassium & is on low-sodium diet. He increased his water intake this past week & ended up in the ER. Immediate blood tests came back “too low on sodium.” He’s following their orders for this. I suggested adding just a pinch of organic sea salts to his water & he will notice a big change. He asked about Gatorade and I said ABSOLUTELY NOT! The label says zero sugar but it’s loaded with sugar.
Long story to share too much water will dilute essential electrolytes. My dad is late 80s & the generation of trusting the medical professionals. He’s home and celebrating Easter with a big smile & happy heart. Many thanks. Dr Berg!
I’ll never enter a medical center again, under my own free will or power. They stopped knowing what their job is several years back and I have yet to lose that many brains as to go ask them for help again.😂 keep him outta there! The internet is once again trustable, after what we all have learned, about right and wrong in a big way. (Navigation is key, the internet can do the opposite too)
@@newfreenayshaun6651There are many of us who feel the same way. I just recently reached out to a natural cardiologist which is located in the state over but it’s something I need to do. I am just not on the same page as my local cardiologist. I am taking charge of my health because most docs are stuck in old ways of thinking especially in term of heart health.
Dr.Berg is “the” all time BEST ytber out there. You have no idea how much of a superhero you are in everyone’s life. Thank you Dr!
I think and try to feel like a hunter gatherer when it comes to my diet. I eat one or two meals
a day, never three. I try to fast at least two times a month. I only eat when I’m really hungry. I don’t snack. I eat locally grown food that is in season as much as possible. No packaged or processed foods. Minimum carbs, a lot of high quality fats and protein. For trace minerals I use shijalit. Organ meats like liver now and then helps. Plus Dr.Berg’s videos, of course. Last, but not the least plenty of exercise. At 63, walking and swimming are the best. If there’s something missing, it is the cod liver oil. Hard to find it here in Turkey.
The best part is that I don’t force this onto myself. It has become my life style over the years and Dr.Berg has been my companion on this journey to health all along the way. Thank you.
I commend Dr. Berg for sharing all the health videos he has over the years and explaining in terms anyone can understand. Dr. Berg was THE doc who got me on this health journey about 13 years ago. I am forever grateful for all he has shared and taught me over the years. I even took his certificate nutritional course years ago which was awesome and I learned so much more than when I got my nutrition certification in school. The man is a genius and is saving lives!
I was a big customer of Lieferando, where you can order pizza etc., ate a lots of sweets and chips. I gaine 30 kgs. From 59 to nearly 90. Pure horror for a women an I feld bearly every day bad. Now, I stopped eating sugar. I only eat cake on sundays. This is the only sugar in the week. I feel so much better. It is such a different. I began sport again and I will begin withh fastening. I want my mobilitiy and my weight back. Happy easter to everybody.
Funny, my kids M.D. said there are no health benefits of vitamin D. I thought he was joking, but he was serious. He also said the covid vaccine is safe. My mother’s heart was damaged from the covid vaccine.
