      @@Ordnas95 that theory has been debunked. Do more research. If you are eating the right foods, you don’t need to count calories. Sorry you’re stuck in that old mind frame.

    Great advice, though many have found that dropping that 100 grams of carbs down even lower actually gets rid of the deep visceral fat much faster, while also dissolving the subcutaneous belly fat. Everyone’s different, & we found that under 10 carbs was most effective, for us as well as cutting out all processed foods, sugars & seed oils. We’re also over 50, so that may play a role too.     Or alternatively you could eat large amounts of stearic acid (vegans can get it from Shea butter) and glycine, then after 18 weeks of lazing on the couch your pot belly will be flat. I think I’ll choose that option.

      I wrote “laze on a couch for 18 weeks” as a joke and to illustrate how effective the stearic acid and glycine treatment is. I said glycine as in the amino acid not glycerine. The glycine I use is vegan sourced and from what I read is healthy to supplement with.

      What I’m actually doing is taking those 2 supplements combined with an extensive insulin resistance lowering treatment including a ketogenic diet of 24g/day of carbohydrate, 1hr/day exercise, building more muscle mass, calorie restriction, a low 8% long chain saturated fat diet, zero added fructose(sugar), and list of supplements that improve insulin resistance.

    I heard that a 36 hour fast is best for stomach fat particularly for visceral fat

    Agree with this except do OMAD and eat in a 4 hours window. Do a 24-36 hours fast once a week. sunday night to tuesday lunchtime is generally the easiest. Eat lots of protein, natural fats, but no carbs or sugar.
