Congratulations on your excellent videos. I find them superb and I would like to share them with family and friends in Spain. Despite your clear English and subtitles, a translation into Spanish would be of much help. Do you have that option? Thanks

I have a six pack at age 57, and I do minimal abdominal exercise. I’m on two meals a day and low carb. I agree with this great video.

    • maureen green on October 16, 2022 at 1:50 pm

@Steven PYou are someone who has very much thoughts things out to achieve maximum benefits while wasting no time/energies on non productivity. Even your twice a day walks serve a litany of purposes. In this way also you are like Dr. Erkberg…EFFECTIVE EFFICIENCY! I

Please Steven P, what do you feel are the advantages to fasting WHILE working out? Mo Green. I pray, meditate, deep breathing, listen to audio of that day’s preselected choice of one of your videos, arm bands excercises, stimulate Vagas nerve by humming/singing, memorizing, plan that day’s OMAD…oh yes, activating Vit D.

    • Steven P on October 16, 2022 at 2:27 pm

@maureen green amazing reply!! Thank you!!

    • Steven P on October 16, 2022 at 2:30 pm

@Broccolihighkicks I eat a lot of meat all kinds!! I never count calories. I’m also doing more weight training and more just walking.

    • Steven P on October 16, 2022 at 2:41 pm

I’m 59 now, I do more weight training and less cardio. Because I’m 168 lbs now I can do 20 full pull ups. My Six pack (ABS) are more defined.😂 I eat two meals a day, mostly keto, except when my wife cooks dinner with carbs. I will just limit the amount and go for a walk 10 minutes after I eat.

A very enlightening video, thank you for this Dr Ekberg. I can happily say this is the most comfortable I’ve felt during and after a workout, but still feel that the right muscles have been engaged. I appreciate your work, thanks again.

    • Richard Mason on November 6, 2021 at 5:42 pm

@Kim Davenport what gives me the most confidence that we’re on the right track is that I finally understand WHY what worked for me years ago no longer works today…

@Franson Ferguson I don’t know about OMAD, but another video (different dr) said movement after a meal best fights insulin resistance. Hope this helps

  6. William Stanley on July 25, 2021 at 5:35 pm

When you said, “Things that don’t move don’t have brains. The purpose of the brain is to process and facilitate movement,” I had one of those epiphany moments. It makes a whole lot more sense now, that’s for sure! It makes it easier to explain to others why exercise is important for brain health than body health.

  7. T. ru on July 28, 2021 at 1:40 pm

Very very informative. Thank you so much for helping to clarify so many of my own concerns with technique and safety for the long term. Your explanations are easy to follow and go well with the examples you’ve demonstrated for us. I’ll have to recommend this one to a few others I know for sure.

Man I really got a lot out of this video doc. I had my lower back fused last year and have gotten out of shape badly. I started working out again but have stayed away from ab exercises because of my L5/S1 surgery, after this I’m ready to give it a shot. Great motivation.

  10. Kirk Thorpe on August 18, 2021 at 2:10 pm

Phenomenal video! As a fellow physician I really appreciate you sharing such medically valid but simple to understand information that all has data to back up! Subscribed!

  11. MARS CHAV on August 21, 2021 at 5:20 pm

I love these exercises. I never like the other ones that are so strenuous. I have very thin 3 4 5 lumbar spine discs. Thank you Dr for sharing 😊

  12. Amanda Portner on August 26, 2021 at 2:11 am

Oh my gosh! I was doing a DAILY ab workout from one of the channels you featured in the do-not-do-this example. I was one of these people with painful hip flexors and a sore lower back 🤦🏻‍♀️ thanks for your video

  13. DeWayne Kammeraad on August 31, 2021 at 4:21 am

Loved this video!! Looking forward to seeing what kind of results I can get. I’ve done all the things that strain the back. This was so much more comfortable but I can still feel the muscles working. Thanks!!!!

  14. Tony Klothos on September 7, 2021 at 11:20 am

Great video! Everything I have learned over the years, but with the added benefit of the proper ab exercises. Thank you!

  15. Gerardo Lira on September 18, 2021 at 2:51 pm

I’m going to try these exercises. I’ve done Inclined sit-ups while holding a 45lbs kettlebell for sets. I have never experienced abdominal muscle fatigue or soreness the next day. Viewing this video, now I suspect my hip flexors were doing all the work. I’ve been doing intermittent fasting and low carbs, no sugar, eat more fat, no alcohol. All of these changes have done more for my waistline than all the ab videos I’ve been performing previously. Thank you so much!

  16. Mfavir Satu Kuno on October 17, 2021 at 1:25 am

Absolutely refreshing how you present the bigger picture of the body as a whole and how you laser in and put it together with easily understood explanations. Thank you!

  17. Berlinda Armijo on October 21, 2021 at 8:26 pm

This makes a lot of sense your exercises are like a yoga type- Slow stretching and the benefits are much, much better then the wrong way I have been working on for months. I will definitely stick to your exercises Doctor. Thanks again. Great video!

  18. Thomas Hughes on November 2, 2021 at 2:59 am

I did these and my back pain went away then and there! WOW!!!

Here are the exercises: (I do them _after_ coffee and _before_ eating after fasting)

    16:23 – Plank

    16:47 – Abdominal Brace

    17:46 – Hand Slide

    18:27 – Diagonal Crunch

    19:09 – Lateral Flexion

19:37 – Lower Abdominal Isolation Exercise

    20:43 – The Game Changer – HIIT!

    22:26 – 10-Day Challenge

    Good luck!

  19. Vera Lúcia on January 5, 2022 at 12:20 am

Que benção ter encontrado seus vídeos de Sten. Comecei hoje a cetogênica e amanhã começo os exercícios. Estou muito feliz. Obg

  20. Niloofar Seifi Hesar on June 29, 2022 at 11:53 pm

That totally makes sense, most of YouTube exercises leave you with back pain and then no temptation to keep doing them, but I usually do these ones that you mentioned when I wakeup and I need to get rid of my back pain and they are so comforting and strengthening at the same time.
as usual truly informative! thank you
