      They wouldn’t turn out the same. They’d be more like muffins at that point – they wouldn’t get that crispy outer layer when baked@@stephaniehenault9360

    Would these work with a nut-free flour?

      You can use sunflower seed flour as a 1:1 replacement for almond flour. That’s the only nut-free flour that can do that, but it does slightly change the taste/color.

    I don’t like wasting so much oil, so I plan try spraying them with coconut oil and using the air fryer.

      The texture won’t be the same when you bake vs fry but I hope you enjoy them either way!

    Thanks for the idea. Oil is expensive. Also what if you don’t have a microwave, how to melt the cheese.

      You can use a small saucepan so you use less oil – just make in smaller batches. As far as melting the cheese, you can do it on the stovetop.
