Did you know that Kefir contains a tiny bit of alcohol? No worries, the percentage is really really small and benefit of drinking it outperforms anything else.

Need to make your own to get the health benefits. Store bought is sugary and doesn’t do much. I’m in my seventies, helped both me and my husband get better sleep. Also got rid of his psoriasis, took 4 weeks. I use whole milk, tastes great just add berries for smoothie.
@sidney8780 I make my own yogurt, and also water kefir, kombucha, and sauerkraut. I’ll still pick up some plain versions from the store occasionally (I have a good farmer’s market type grocery store near me) when I run out and haven’t started a new batch, or if one of my ferments is still brewing.
Just started making our own Kefir last week! The process is truly not difficult and the reward is fantastic! My husband was buying it in the store and it had sugar so I searched out making it at home! 👍🏼

I buy up the aisle of organic higher fat plain kefir weekly. Drink 1 bottle a day on average. Helps my gut, helps me recover from the gym and hit my protein goals. Great stuff.
Thanks Dr. Berg!! I am 2 weeks in, drinking 4 oz 20 mins before bed… The best meaningful sleep I have had in many years!! What I mean by meaningful sleep, I only can sleep between 5 to 6 hours. But now I feel well rested.
I drank kefir for a month 2-3 times per day maybe 4-6oz. I found that I cannot digest the proteins in cows milk and kefir confirmed this through intense bloating. I haven’t tried goat or sheep yet.
Kefir is very interesting! Unfortunately, it has a very sour taste, but I do drink some of it if my mother happens to buy some.
Its really not that bad imo, think of it as medicinal . Im lucky I really enjoy trying all different foods🤷♀️
Try kefir with strawberries! Stellar
How about mixing some cinnamon in with it?
make your own, it has much better taste then bought one
Maple Hill has a really good grass fed plain one I just add stevia and cinnamon.. it’s delicious. I noticed the lifeway one is too runny and too sour.
Stay away from the high sugar kefir

High cholesterol is not a problem. So your good.

I use it in my brown rice past, it gives my pasta a tangy taste.
How you use it for rice?
Trusted kefir brands? And what form of kefir is best?
Homemade
Hello. Please see here: https://www.happyherbalist.com/
I make my own kefir. So much better than any I have bought. And so easy to do.
Teach me pls
True, I make mine too, just need a store bought kefir as a starter and organic milk. Tastes so good
@hukuaustria could you share how you do it
I tried. Didn’t go too well. So I just buy organic Arla kefir in the supermarket. It’s pretty good, I would say.
How, please?

Thank you so much Dr.Berg. 💖🌹
You’re very welcome, Bella!
Any insight is good, especially for those of us who’d rather eat our medicine instead of taking pills with side efftects.

You know you can buy plain, unsweetened kefir, right?
@@sweetannsour1794 Thank you, yes. But prefer homemade, especially since we consume several cups a day.

Kefir and other non-sweetened yogurts, are also good at healing diarrhea, as long as we cut out all other dairies.
Thank you Dr. Berg for a great tips on kefir vs yogurt.❤
Most welcome!
