      What about eating organically grown vegetables? They are grown without pesticides, so are they okay to eat on this diet plan?

      @Steve Drake Steve, an organic farm surrounded by farms that use pesticides and chemicals, are at risk of being hit, because the wind can carry those chemicals to the organic farm. Also organic food are more expensive, so grow your own veggies if you can!

    The carnivore diet is the diet that humans need, not vegetarian or vegan. Not even vegetables on the side.

      Hey Wellness Warrior, I think animal based is a better option as it allows for more variety all while keeping you away from foods known to cause negative reactions in the body.

      ​@Dr. Nick Zyrowskithere was never about variety but about the proper diet. Why don’t you try variety with tigers, cows, rabbits etc? Our stomachs are exactly like cornivores. Our acidity is between the vultures and crocodiles also. So what are we supposed to eat?

    Thank you Dr Z for doing this video. I transitioned from keto to carnivore a few months ago and it was the best thing I could have done for myself. You bringing this to people’s attention is a huge deal. I hope they listen 😊 (I do have some dairy but no fruit)

    I make my own tallow lotion!! I asked our butcher for all the suet from the 1/4 beef that we get from our rancher, and oh boy! That was a lot of fat to render!!

    Dr how is the digestion gonna work with this diet? Don’t we need lots of fiber? I have almost chronic constipation. I need your advise.

      eat some butter , you will not have any problem as long you get enough fat in the diet

      Magnesium is a natural laxative. Magnesium Citrate seems to be the most laxative (other forms will work as well, you’ll just need a little more). Also if you’re a coffee drinker, coffee helps move things along as well.

    I ate carnivore started last September. In March 7 months later I ended up in the ER for impaction of my entire colon. I was in the hospital for 5 days with GI surgeon anticipating surgery. Massive digital disempactions I was able to pass with massive enemas and laxatives. Watch out if you do carnivore.

      That is because nobody explains that you have to gradually introduce the conivore diet. If you don’t, you can have a lot of issues. Mine was the opposite. I had daily diarrhea and dehydration until I realized I didn’t go about it right.

    Recently tore my Achilles heel, so I went from 185lbs to 205lbs @5’11”. Not thrilled. I watched Rogan the other day and he mentioned this diet, thanks for hammering the details. My son and I will give it a go. Thanks, Doc!

    When I ate the vegan diet, I had to poop 4-5 times a day. SMH. I was also farting all the time. My coworkers hated me. On the carnivore diet, I’m doing great and look great. It’s amazing!!! 👍👍

      Hilarious Alan! A fart, a fart is good for the heart; 😂 Farting is an indication that your digestive system is working well. Good idea to stay away from onion, garlic, broccoli and chewing gum to avoid the embarrassment. Good luck!

    Too extreme. So many people on YouTube say – just cut out all this, or all that. Don’t drink coffee, alcohol will kill you etc. Well come to Europe and see how slim and healthy people are. Wine with every meal, strong coffee in the morning, with a nice croissant on the side.

    Went to Carnivore diet. Lost weight on Carnivore Keto. Not entirely happy with that. So Carnivore IF. Meat, seafood, greens and limited cheese. Greetings From the👍. Best

    This is nearly my diet since some years. I added some nuts and oats occasionally. Instead of honey i use the sweet amino acid glycine. Still have some gut issues after drinking coffee.
