Great video! Eliminating carbs in the last meal really helps to drop the pounds. I actually cut my carbs out after my early afternoon snack! I do a lite workout after dinner, usually gentle yoga or pilates.
Thank you for sharing Joanna. I am a Certified Wellness Coach and I practice and promote what you are suggesting. What we should all also remember is to incorporate some form of exercise 30-60 minutes, on most days of the week. Better Nutrition is so important but it can’t do it all.

Hi Joanna, love your food and nutrition videos – could you do a video demonstrating how this works in day to day life, perhaps showing examples of your favourite meals/snacks you would consume over the course of a day?
I love how you break everything down so that we know WHY we are supposed to do something, and aren’t restricted to what foods we eat. This makes me feel comfortable without having to worry too much about what I eat now, it’s just about sticking to these rules. 🙂

I lost 30kg doing a very similar setup!!! It does start with deciding to change your life. No fads work I agree. I also smash the water. But getting off my arse and started walking then running. But turned into cycling and I haven’t looked back. From 100kg to 70kg and I feel epic
I’ve started my journey to lose weight too! I have a question tho, did walking and running help you lose your extra weight because I’ve started using the treadmill and slowly waking but sometimes I feel so discouraged bc it feels like it might not help me lose all my extra fat

Hi Joanna! Thank you for all of that information. I have been eating clean and working out for half an hour each day, and have not lost a single pound in just over 2 weeks! Do you have any ideas as to why that is?
I lost 30 lbs by eating smaller meals. my main key to losing weight was eating only when I was hungry. I used to eat when family was eating or when I was emotional like salty or sweet. Now I just eat only when my my body tells me I’m hungry. I don’t eat breakfast because I’m simply not hungry in the morning. I do not not drink any sugary juices or drinks at all I drink green tea 3 times a day and I have my coffee every single day. I have not cut out any single kind of food I’ve eaten in the past. I eat bread grains veggies fruits meat everything I used to in the past but much smaller portions. if I would eat like a 4 inch piece of cake before now I eat a 2-inch piece of cake. I do not believe in depriving myself because if I do I will break and go back to my old eating habits and gain back a lot of weight . everybody is different and I’m very happy I found my way of losing weight even though it’s different than what this video is telling you. I also stopped eating after 7 p.m. at night if I am very hungry I will eat something an egg or a vegetable. it took me 3 months to lose all this weight and it’s been eight months since I lost the weight and I actually try to stop to lose weight because I like my body shape. because I’ve been eating smaller portions I could go longer time without eating now so it’s like intermittent fasting. I hope this help someone out there.

What I’m doing is I’m trying to not eat so when I’m hungry I drink water.

yes I agree while she certainly knows what she is talking about I don’t see the need to eat 1 hour after waking, I’m not hungry then. Listen to your body, eat when food enters your mind. Then eat something smallish.
