    Yummy that looks amazing!

I feel like I’d add the walnuts even half way through setting so that they stay in/on the fudge.

    • RuledMe on August 23, 2023 at 3:31 pm

You can definitely do that, or even mix them into the fudge. It’s pretty soft so even if you top them after it sets, you can press the nuts in.

@RuledMe can’t wait to make this, thank you πŸ™

What type of collagen should you use?

    • RuledMe on August 23, 2023 at 3:41 pm

It doesn’t particularly matter which brand you choose to use as long as it’s low-carb. I’ve used vital protein and perfect keto’s brand among others and they all work pretty similarly.

    That looks delicious πŸ˜‹

      Glad you think so!

Omg. I haven’t had fudge in 5 years. Can’t wait to do this. It looks so easy too.

Super easy! Let me know what you think 😁

What can I substitute for the collagen?

    • RuledMe on August 23, 2023 at 4:38 pm

You could probably use some protein powder (a little less than the collagen), but I haven’t tested with whey protein and collagen mixes a little differently into mixtures/liquids.

Collagen added in the recipe !!!
This is a gem of a recipe.
    It’s magnificent, i love it.

SF chocolate chips should work okay instead of unsweetened baking chocolate but cut down on the sweetener in the recipe, correct?

    • RuledMe on August 23, 2023 at 10:11 pm

If they’re already sweetened, yes I would cut back on the sweetener some 😊

Do you have to keep in fridge for setting?

    • RuledMe on August 23, 2023 at 11:10 pm

Yes, or the freezer for 1-2 hours. At room temperature it’ll be very soft.

    • Aileen ζ„›ηŽ² on August 23, 2023 at 11:14 pm

@RuledMe Thank you for your reply so it should be kept in fridge all the time?

    • RuledMe on August 23, 2023 at 11:20 pm

No problem! Yeah I’d keep it in the fridge if you want that fudgy consistency. All of the ingredients that go into this are soft at room temp. It might hold its shape when at room temp, but it would be more like a thick pudding/custard at that point. Hope that helps clarify 😊 @Aileen ζ„›ηŽ²

Hi, Can I substitute collagen peptides in place of collagen? Thank you.

    • RuledMe on August 23, 2023 at 11:42 pm

Yes, they should work similarly for the thickening properties.

    • Jayashree Pillai on August 24, 2023 at 2:49 am

Thank you very much. Should br making it in 2 days.
