Today, I’m going to show you how to eliminate mucus in the lungs using NAC. NAC works similarly to salt by thinning mucus, but it also stops its production. It’s a potent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial, and antiviral agent that can even break up biofilms. NAC also strengthens the cilia in the respiratory system, which helps to move mucus.
NAC can be taken orally, injected, or inhaled through a nebulizer. It can be beneficial for respiratory congestion related to an infection or for diseases like COPD or cystic fibrosis. NAC is also used in hospitals as an antidote for Tylenol poisoning.
NAC helps enhance brain function and may be beneficial for people with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson's, OCD, addictions, depression, and schizophrenia. NAC can improve insulin sensitivity, which helps regulate blood sugar and prevent a fatty liver. It promotes healthy blood pressure and cholesterol, and can even help with asthma.
You can reduce respiratory mucus with salt if you’re dealing with an acute infection, but NAC can eliminate mucus and the inflammation behind it.
Vitamin C, curcumin, probiotics, magnesium, quercetin, and vitamin D can all improve the effectiveness of NAC.

Thanks for watching! I hope this helps you clear your respiratory mucus. I’ll see you in the next video.
NAC is great when you’re sick as well. They tried suppressing it like ivermectin.
👍👍👍Keep that in mind and stock up for the future. Just a suggestion!
Yes they did. I remember because I already had some.
Yes! I think that Amazon was even going to ban it at one point!!
Absolutely they did – these oligarchs are not on our side.
Very sick individuals, trying to depopulate.
@@sshaw70They did for some time. I used to buy a bottle for 16. for so long, during that period it was 45.
Dr. Berg is THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!! I literally cannot thank this man enough for the knowledge he has imparted on me. SIR! Please live well and long!!!

I had no idea NAC could do so much beyond just thinning mucus. It’s amazing to learn about its benefits for respiratory health, liver protection, even brain function. I’m especially intrigued by its use in nebulizers—definitely trying this! Thanks for the valuable info!

I can attest to this, NAC is amazing for lung ailments
Thank you for sharing!
I’ve had asthma most of my life. (I’m 71) and I use an inhaler for sudden symptoms. I’ve been trying NAC for about 3-4 months with great results. I also take 10,000 of Vitamin D and K daily , also with positive results. Great advice. tks.
Are you still on a daily inhaler?
D3 with K2 @ 10,000 iu is great for me too.
@@soozieevans7222fo same but my D levels are right up in summer so i take 1000 only plus K2. And Mag glycinate. NAC really helps. I use the pharma grade powder. 1 flat teaspoon once a day.
@@soozieevans7222i stopped needing inhaler except on huge pollen days
Did you triäy magnesium? 200 mg helped me a lot.
A game changer for me after lungs affected from Covid- it really works!
Great to know.
Yes it does
Wow, is it true? My lung capacity after covid has dropped to 68 – 70%. I’m going to try this!!!!
Where can one get the liquid form?
NAC stands for N-Acetyl-L-Cystine. The Pure Encapsulations brand is what an MD Dr. I know recommends for a pill version. Pair it with Hist Resist from the same brand. They work great together for allergies and clearing phlem in the lungs. Better than one or the other.
Note: Hist Resist has pineapple stem (not the fruit part) in it for bromelain. I am not sure if that will trigger a reaction if you’re allergic to pineapples, just FYI.
I hope this helps! 😊
Do alittle digging – just recently the pure encapsulation brand has been sold so I would look for another brand – I’m not sure about the intentions of the buyers 😢
@@donnaschoen1015😮😮
@@donnaschoen1015exactly. It was bought out sometime back, as most of them have. I do my best to use Now Foods brand.
Thank you!!! I’ve been scouring the Description section and messages for the def. of NAC. Much appreciate you taking the time to define it, and your brand suggestions. x
FYI: If you’re interested in the products recommended by OP, the product listed under the name, Hist Resist, can be found on website under Hist Reset.
Been battling mucus congestion in sinuses and lungs for a week. Tried salt therapy last night. Going to get NAC today! Thanks for the info Dr Berg! The timing of your messages is incredible!
True story. I needed this info so bad yesterday. Im trying it right now, i hope it clears up my lungs. 😊
Me for years 😅
The goat. This man gets tone of view. Tones of praises. Admit when he is wrong knows when he is right. Yet he is humble and doesn’t let his head swells up
Accurate.
not a professional but I moved from a warm humid climate to a dry cold one. I developed thick mucus in my throat and lungs, now I run a humidifier 24/7 and that problem was resolved. I do gargle with salt water from time to time in winter. My diet is 100% health conscious. I avoid processed anything, which includes pills. I do take B1 and Mag. Glyc. a recent need not helped by food alone and it has had an amazing positive effect on my well-being. Watching your videos helped with that choice, high cortisol stress levels take you down as you age. Thanks for your time, thank your for caring.
My lungs were severely congested for several days. Pineapple and pineapple juice cleared me right up! Bromelain is a miracle worker.
Nice to know there’s another option.
Wow, I will try it. 👍
If you are Diabetic, don’t do pineapple. It is very high in sugar.
Quercetin+ Bromelain+zinc is great for colds too
thanks a lot for sharing. another option (for those who’d be interested) is juniper berries. works great on me!
I swear Dr. Berg is making videos just for me. Thank you Doctor!
No problem. Hope my videos will help you.
@Drberg , they already have. Ty!
My husband is a smoker. He is also on CPAP. Recently he got sick and had a lingering cough and it has progressed. This should help
NAC will help – amazing antioxidant
This video has really been good eye opening.
I got a surgery & my Dr prescribed Tylenol and I didn’t take Tylenol for about 17 years cuz the last time that I did it gave heartburn.
However, the other day my doctor convinced me to take Tylenol saying that it was better than Advil.
I did & it gave me rashes, itchiness, headache all over my body & even did throw up.
I was confused about what it was.
I got surgeries before but anesthesia never gave rashes. The only thing different that I did this time was taking Tylenol.
Everyone was telling me that Tylenol is harmless but now I know that it was the Tylenol.
Following a severe cold I’ve been congested for days. Although everything else was gone the mucus was still clogging up my lungs. I saw your post a few hours ago and had some NAC in the fridge. I took 3 and can breath again. If I had gone to my regular doctor they wouldn’t have helped. Thanks again Dr Berg.
I am having similar problem. I had a really bad cold or flu and got better after 2 weeks then had a congestion in my sinus that took awhile to go away and now a month later I feel it in my chest airways. Went to the doctor and she said my lungs are clear and she hears a little in my lower chest which said could be a little bit of bronchitis and just gave me steroids to help open my airways more and stronger allergy medicine. It helped a little but it’s been still feeling some congestion there. I was about to go to urgent care and ask for antibiotics to see if that helps. But I just saw this video and all the comments. Bought me some NAC, gonna start taking it today and believing it will help.
@@deborahsouza8789 The NAC worked. I had to keep taking it for a couple of weeks before the mucus cleared completely. I got my hands on some ivermectin and took it because I have an art student coming from Boston by plane and I tend to get ill when I’m close to recent plane passengers. Although my lungs and breathing felt fine before I have to admit they’ve improved even though I didn’t think there had been a problem before.
I am suffering from Mucus more than a month! And you released the video at right time. Thank you so much.
Very glad to be of help.
Im suffering from mucus more than a 25 years 😅

Managing respiratory health naturally has been a priority for me, especially when it comes to clearing up mucus and keeping my lungs clear. Keeping my diet clean with steak and eggs has helped, but adding some supplements I found in Secret Supplements that turn you into a Superhuman made a big difference. One that’s really helped is NAC—it’s been fantastic for supporting my respiratory system and easing congestion.
Add Thyme tea for more miracles.
I use Astragalus when I get an upper respiratory infection. It’s the penicillin of herbs and very inexpensive. I take it like I would take a prescription antibiotic 1500 to 2000mg 3 to 4 times a day. Along with pur vitamin C made from berries, Smarter Vitamins is the company and all their products are made from whole foods and animals.

My husband died in the hospital due to mucus. The nurses were instructed to use suction to clear it but the death certificate said death was caused by acute respiratory failure. He had a mild stroke and was admitted into ICU but was taking lots of supplements daily. Talented musician. I miss him. 04/12/2024.
What supplements did he takes?
