@@DrEricBergDC are you accepting your beard going grey? I recently started “therapeutic doses” of Amino Acids and Hydrolyzed Collagen and white beard hairs are now a medium gray after about 3 months … Am I too hopeful of turning it back to a solid color?
It’s more about the color change being an external indicator of health/ “health-age”

I never considered that raw veggies grown in soil were that loaded. Thanks for the knowledge. We’ve taken to snapping off our asparagus and just eating it raw. It’s so much better than hoping it doesn’t get stringing when cooking!!!And it’s very tasty!
While this is true, the bioavailability is poor and most all plants are also filled with anti nutrients as well as carcinogens. So really it’s one step forward, three steps back…

Thank you, Dr Berg, I love this. The gut microbiome is so important. So much of our health depends on it. This needs to be known.
Also, yogurt has no lactose because it has been eaten by the good bacteria, and probiotics process the lactose and casein for our bodies in our gut.
Making Saurkraut at home is easy. Only takes cabbage and salt! I spent an evening watchign a show as I used a mandoline to slice my red cabbage and then massaged it with salt till it wept. I decided to add carrot and radish to it and i am glad I did. I put all the veggies and the juice that came from squeezing with salt into a jar and put a sealed bag of water on top as a weight. after a fortnight, we had beautiful red saukraut that tasted super! gave some to my neighbor who said it was the best snack she’d had in ages.I ate it every night for weeks till it was gone. I just used a gallon glass cookie jar as my crock, but you can do it in a Mason jar too if you want to start small.

Yes especially if you eat fermented food before your usual meal if it includes carbs or sugars will help level out blood sugar spikes, additionaly if you take a walk afterward it is great for your health.
