    Can you demo how to fall the other way, onto your back? I feel like that’s the bigger fear — that once you really try to straighten out, you might lean too far back.

      When you fall on your back, make sure to roll up properly- like bend your arms, tuck in your chin to you chest so you don’t fall on your head and round your back. You will roll from the neck down to your butt and land in a sitting position. Definitely do it on a mat or it’ll hurt- it’s more of a emergency landing. Easier said than done, I know, so another video really could be helpful:)

      I would buy a mat for £15 or so and lay it out in front of you just in case.

    I just dont have the upper body strength to handstand.

    Amazing. I always won the timed handstands in middle school. Then in holding arms straight out? Even against men. I have wondered if my handstands in early years helped with that? Although broad shouldered made me feel less feminine in younger days. 😢 I want to be proud…

    Doing that near a window definitely throws the fear right in there Quickly😂 Falling on my back or butt is the least of my worries now 🪟👀👍

    I used to do hand stands, back bends and walkovers in high school. Ten years later when I was showing my kids how to practice against a wall then eventually positioning further away from wall, my arms suddenly gave out and I crashed on my head. Even though I ride horses, motorcycles and do large scale gardening, no of that kept the correct muscles in the condition needed to get out of it safely. Getting old stinks
