    I use enemas during the keto diet to prevent the keto flu symptoms. For me this routine works the best and is a LIFESAVER!

      @@Iliana___2532It is something that you can buy at a pharmacy or any big box store if you can’t have a bowel movement. It’s used per rectum. A bottle of fluid mixed with an additive that you insert and squeeze, per the instructions, to stimulate bowel movements. These are usually given when someone is very constipated so make sure you check with your physician first.

      You can order potassium powder and just mix it with salt in your drink. and you’ll keep your strength through fasting

      You don’t actually lose muscle mass.. You’re just losing water weight; just keep going and you’ll lose fat very quickly and melt away. The muscle is the very last thing to go; as long as you have fat to burn, you won’t burn muscle.

      @@JordanCatchC Well I’ve done 6 day fasts and lost 22lbs and literally gained 5 lbs of bench in that same week. so I don’t’ understand this loss of muscle mass theory. If you’re obese and have plenty of fat and you’re 250 lbs.. You’re not going to lose muscle mass. Our bodies store fat for a reason and it knows how to use it when there’s plenty of excess.

      People should be careful not to lose too much fat,..Fat leaves a person looking like a humdinger instead of too skinny and old.๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ข
      It is padding for All of the major organs. It can actually keep you looking more youthful as you age.

      And most certainly FAT can be manipulated to leave certain areas of the body yet remain in others to keep that youthful look.

      @@calholli a 6 day fast literally means you’re in autophagy, which also means you’d be producing ketones, both factors help you retain muscle mass. That’s completely different from being off keto eating a high carb high protein diet like most body builders do.

    I must be doing something right then because if anything I feel more muscular. 1 to 2 tsp of mineral salt people. Maca root gives loads of potassium. The rest I get from other sources of food. No keto flu, no muscle cramps, I’m sleeping well and I’m always in a good mood thanks to the nutritional yeast.

      I buy the beats with the greens on it and put the greens in the freezer if I don’t use them right away, and then I take them out of the freezer and I don’t thaw them out. I just saute them in a little olive oil and butter they are delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹ and extremely high in potassium ๐ŸŽ‰โค๐ŸŽ‰

    Thanks for explaining my flat butt!! I need to get to the gym more I know, but I thought it was just aging and that the fat was hiding it. I actually got too thin and listless when I was trying to go carnivore. I never even succeeded in getting off fruit, let alone some veggies, but I suddenly dropped 3 extra pounds and felt awful. I added some gluten free grains just to get those 3 lb back. I have celiac and I guess I still donโ€™t absorb like a normal person.

      A few squats at home will recreate muscles on the butt. No need to go to the gym.

    Just think of the opposite scenario. Taking steroids makes your muscles look puffy because it promotes fluid retention. The muscles themselves aren’t necessarily bigger until you start building them. So with keto you lose water weight and the muscles appear leaner, but your actual muscle hasn’t really changed, you’re not losing muscle, just the water sitting around them.

    I went through that DR. Berg and I feel great I’m drinking your electrolyte powder lemonade and I have no more sugar in my body and I’m more low carb then keto I can now have a little carb’s and stay in keto.

    I am reading his book now. I’m very serious about this book. I’m so worried I won’t be able to understand some of it. This doctors amazing. Why is it that everybody I know are all on statins. It seems like everybody over 50. Has to have some kind of pill from the pharmacist. That’s strange and crazy. Not everybody over 50 needs pharmaceutical drugs. I’m sorry I’m just going off right now. If you can check the doctor out.Or be happy taking cholesterol pills
