Funny how we are so weak today that not eating for 16h including SLEEP is called fasting. Haha. Oh well. After a while, when we are used to not eating for, say, 20h daily, the hunger goes away. And if we are accidentally hungry during the day b/c we have not had time to eat enough the day before, then the hunger just goes away by itself, after a while. With time, eating one meal a day becomes effortlesss. Then it’s not eating for at least a day AND a night that becomes “fasting”. And yes, dizziness, fatigue, hinger are all symptomes of maladaptation to eating less frequently. Once you are adapted you can go days without eating. That adaptation is what takes time and effort.
