Wow, thank you so much Pahla! You have every reason to celebrate all your latest successes so don’t feel uncomfortable sharing them with us!! 😊 I am in the process of moving home and have become stressed and overwhelmed with all that involves so Thank You, I am going to celebrate every cupboard emptied and every box packed to see how I’m progressing!! Not something I have considered before so huge thanks for pointing this out! ❤ Also, I’m going to celebrate the fact that I “found” you during COVID lockdown and how you continue to inspire me to find ways to deal with… Well, life!!! Well done me! 😂 Love the video format Pahla, for all your insecurities about it, it works for me!! xxx

I like this new format and being able to see you. I don’t think you sound different. Very helpful as I don’t celebrate wins as you talked about. Time to change things up.

      Me too!

I just watched the video and I rather listen to the podcast. You tend to go off topic more when we can see you! Not sure if that makes sense. On the podcast you stick to the script and there is less chatter.

I know I’m afraid to celebrate my wins because my first “unhelpful thought” is “If I’m happy or excited, something bad is gonna happen.” Interesting to think about. “I think if I’m happy or excited, something bad is gonna happen” – scared, worried – Unhelpful!!! This episode just opened a new box of unhelpful thoughts for me to journal about. 😅

You don’t appear nervous to me. You may feel nervous but you seem fine! Love the video format as well!! I believe in celebrating “little” things. I focus on those wins at work with my employees. Always good to “catch” each win! Positive reinforcement!

I love the idea of celebrating. I was still struggling with losing those extra pounds, not that many only about 10 to take me back to my 40’s weight. I went on the keto diet and began walking every other day for an hour. I also kept my workout routine likely harder than I needed to. But nothing worked. I stayed where I was or gained even doing keto. My dieting yoyo had been going on for a few years into my menopause. But when I found you, and your calorie counting videos, something told me this was the path.

It was your own personal success that said this was likely going to make a difference.

I have counted calories in my life, just not routinely or for years past. I did exactly what you said, and I kept walking and working out while I counted out and ate the same number of calories every day. I am now down past my weight loss goals and to the weight I was at 25. It was always easy for me to stay thin in my youth. I have a good grip on my eating habits. But menopause and my retirement changed my energy burning habits.

If not for all your insight and experience, I would still be on that track. I know because my sister is fighting those same pounds as she really struggles to get enough exercise so she can eat what she like. Now I don’t want to eat high calorie and sugar foods. I feel my body has what it needs. I don’t have those terrible hunger and sugar cravings. And I always get to eat things I do like and are healthy for me.

It feels me with such great feelings of success over my aging process. And I am going to celebrate with you. Thank you, Paula.

Whenever I feel like my win is not going to last, and I might self sabotage just to protect myself, I think of the movie Pretty Woman. In one scene, she was in the bedroom after a magical night which made her feel special, a feeling she rarely has, she called her BFF, and that BFF said it probably won’t last, and dumped on her parade… and Julia said, ” ya, but I’m here now”.

Pahla during your second achievement that you are celebrating when you said “I’m celebrating it with you.” It made me cry. ❤ thank you so much for having the video podcast. It makes the connection with what you’re saying personal for me. I appreciate everything you do, showing your vulnerability. Makes such a strong statement. Keep up the great work.🎉🎉🎉❤

I am a professional project manager and celebrating wins is an important part of the project. We should not wait until the project is complete. We have milestones along the way and we celebrate those milestones.
I think the video podcast is excellent. You always present well and in a way that comes across as sincere and caring. Thank you so much! 🐝❤
