The idea of loving your menopausal body sounds so nice. But what are the actual steps? How do you DO that? I’ve got the scoop in this week’s episode of the Get Your GOAL podcast!

Loving your menopausal body is a feeling that’s available to you – even if right now you think you hate your body, or it’s betrayed you, or you just don’t understand it anymore. You CAN love your body, and I highly encourage you to do so.

When menopause came knocking at my door, it changed everything I thought I knew about myself. But instead of getting stuck in the anger, frustration, and betrayal of those changes, I decided to change my MIND.

    I can appreciate your voice on pregnancy. Love my son, but pregnancy was horrible and what it did to my body permanently i despise! Sagging skins, horrific stretch marks, all of it!

    Extra, extra special thanks for this episode, Pahla! 🤗 I always learn so much from you every week, but this episode was one I really needed to hear. The past December I turned 50, capping off a year that was not good in so many areas, I found it difficult to find anything positive about the big birthday. Literally overnight, it felt like, the fine lines on the skin started appearing. The perimenopausal symptomshave really kicked in. I’m in the best fitness shape I’ve ever been in, in terms of strength, what I can do, stamina, etc., which is good… But my body is changing in ways that are shocking to me… like the little bit extra around the midsection has been very disheartening. I’m just not there yet with being able to look at myself… and the mindwork is really hard. I’m experiencing a lot of what you did. The mind is so strange… why is it “easier” to listen to the negative chatter than to believe the positive? As I say, I’m just beginning this new journey, so I have a ways to go. 😂 I appreciated this encouragement more than words can express. I don’t want to be that negative voice, that negative person. I used to believe in all the powers of love once, but lost it along the way. Sorry for this too-long comment… I’m feeling all the feels! Thank you for shining a light into the dark places and helping see something else, something more, something better. Bless you! 💜 P.S. I’m doing the same when putting on my socks & shoes—the one-leg practice. Our shower is a dinky cabinet-like thing, so I get to practice a one-leg thing while showering & shaving my legs too! 🤣 Good stuff to keep us on our feet as long as we can! 👍
