In this video, we’re going to talk about some of the new data surrounding eggs and their role in heart disease. Out of ten recent studies on eggs and heart disease, all of the studies were observational, and all but two of the studies were self-reported.
Studies that require people to recall everything that they’ve eaten over a period of time are generally inaccurate. People often forget what they’ve eaten and focus on the positive things they can remember eating rather than reporting the negative.
Questionnaires do not prove causation. There was also a conflict of interest in many of these studies.
Eggs are one of the most nutrient-dense foods you can consume. The egg yolk contains almost every nutrient except vitamin C.
Egg yolks from pasture-raised eggs are an excellent source of the following:
•Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12
•The active form of vitamin A (retinol)
•Vitamin E
•Vitamin K2
•Vitamin D
•Omega-3 fatty acids
•Potassium, magnesium, and selenium
Eggs are the best source of protein next to human breast milk and are one of the best sources of choline.
Egg yolks promote healthy levels of cholesterol. They can increase HDL cholesterol and can increase the size of your LDL cholesterol. Egg yolks are the perfect combination of protein and fat and can help reduce insulin resistance.
Egg yolks contain lutein and zeaxanthin—carotenoids that are most commonly found in vegetables. These carotenoids are more bioavailable in eggs and help protect the eye from macular degeneration and cataracts. They also protect the endothelial tissue inside of your arteries.
Eggs don't cause heart problems—they help with heart problems!

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
100% of the humans who have died on this planet, breathed in air and drank water. Scientists conclude breathing air and drinking water has a 100% lethality rate and say you should avoid whenever possible.

Funny how my grandparents lived on eggs, meat, vegetables they raised themselves, and home baked goods, and died at 100 and 101.
Thanks Dr. Berg. About 29 years ago I decided I should try eating as much like those grandparents as possible. Nothing I’ve seen on your channel has led me to doubt that decision. 🙂
Butter and milk also
why did the egg cross the road?
Because it was coming out of it’s shell.
😂
@@DeportAliens my grandparents lived till 90 and 96 and they ate a lot of eggs, milk and cheese. All from their own chickens, goats and sheeps. I don’t trust the milk in the store though. It doesn’t taste anything like the milk my grandparents had.
Well, this is not the news I eggspected to hear. Often times these findings are eggagerated. Hopefully, im an eggception.
Let’s hope some didn’t listen to only the first few seconds of Dr. Berg’s report and walked away. I was ready to throw away the 3 dozens pasture raised eggs that I bought yesterday. Thanks again Dr. Berg. You’re a God sent.God bless!
The unbelievable amount of manipulation from these criminals is frightening and insulting! Thank you Dr Berg for being a true doctor.
Yes, apparently, shrinking brains are happening even faster than I suspected.
He’s a chiropractor actually.
Propaganda is push by PETA and Vegans to force people to stop eating animals and start eating insects.
@@onlywenilaugh6589 Seems to me it’s mostly chiropractors that know nutrition.
But he sure knows about the immune system where doctors practicing dont!!!!@@onlywenilaugh6589
My Dad ate 2 eggs a day his whole adult life. He lived until 95 and did not die from heart disease. I was told for years to have only 2 eggs a week. I eat an organic egg and organic egg whites every day. Thank you Dr. Berg!
I eat 4 eggs daily so maybe I’ll live to 190.😁
Same
@@luisloya1120I will eat 5 eggs a day so I will live past 200 🙂
My dad did, too — maybe 2 or 3 every morning, for years, and he lived a long life.
He died from an eggsplosion
Love you even more Dr Berg. Just eggscellent! Keep shelling out the valuable and truthful information.
The yolks on them.
I was way to an annoyed for it lol….
I am in my 64, I used to eat eggs everyday, but one of this fake reports made me to stop it few years ago, until 3 or 4 years ago I saw one of your video clips about eggs, then I have started again with eating 6 eggs a day, I am more healthier than during the time I missed eating eggs.
Thanks Dr.Berg.🙏🌹
6 eggs a day? R u eggs mafia?
@@maxgelezni9620 also eating 6 eggs per day. 4 in the morning before training and 2 in the evening. All of them in soft boiled state 🙂
What kind of healthy? You didnt get sicknesses? Thanks
I eat 5-6 eggs every morning. No more processed garbage and intermittent fast 3-4 times a week. I’ve gone from 240 pounds to 209 in 6 months by ONLY doing that. Eggs are extremely healthy for you. I have never felt better or healthier.
Don’t be naive next time you’re lied to.
In the 90s my biology teacher told me eggs are the most complete source of nutrients biologically available. She was right. Those who eat eggs regularly are always very healthy and strong.
Happy to hear you mention medication side effects, Dr. Berg!! Many doctors seem to not consider that AT ALL, and instead further compound issues by adding additional medications. That said, please listen to your own body everyone
I eat two to three eggs a day. Thank you Dr. Berg for protecting our health.💕
Awesome. Stay safe and healthy!
@@DrbergHi doc, I really like to eat chicken liver and I’d like to eat it every day, but I’m worried of vitamin A, iron and copper overload. What’s your advice?
@@Drbergp😊
@@Voltornator do you get it from some source of trust? otherwise i wouldnt recommend eating liver like at all. if you are carnivore its kinda needed but if you arent i would only eat it every now and then not because of the vitamin etc. overload but because of all the meds they pump into chickens that ends up in their detoxing organs (e.g. liver).
same! God bless
Thank you Dr.Berg once again!! I’ve watched so many of your videos (I’ve got the notification bell on! 😅) and am so grateful you tell us the truth! I even bought your liver cleanse supplements last month. I’m almost done with the bottle and I have so much more energy and feel great! I will keep trying all your products! You’ve inspiring me to get on track to better health, and feed my family better. Thank you so much!🙏 May you and your family be blessed!
Hey there! I saw what you said about Dr. Berg’s liver cleanse, I have been wanting to try them because I had my gall bladder out a few years ago and digestive issues from it. Very low energy and don’t feel like myself anymore. I’m definitely gonna try it , thank you for adding that in your comment! Many blessings! 🙏💜
Thank you Dr. Berg, I love eggs! As a retired RN I have known for a long time that some doctors are paid by Big Pharma and so are hospitals. I became very wary about the medical establishment and decided to look into diet and natural therapies. So glad you break down the false narrative that is out there so that lay people can understand. Studies can get quite confusing.
You are one of the few people in the medical field that are aware of this, good for you! It’s a shame big pharma cares more about profits than human lives. This is exactly why people should be cautious around all the vaccines that are pushed too!
Thank you for breaking this down, Dr. Berg! It wasn’t until refined carbohydrates came along that heart disease and cancer rates began to soar.
As well as autism
It’s the pricks that’s giving People heart problems

You are wonderful, Dr Berg. Human beings have some hope of getting the right information as long as few doctors such as you are around. A huge thanks to you. I am a big follower of your valuable advice on health. And yes, it has helped me in many ways apart from weight loss.
I’ve always heard eggs were bad for cholesterol. When the doctor told me several years ago that my cholesterol was slightly high I completely cut out eggs. Went back the next year. Even higher. The doctor told me that eggs don’t cause high cholesterol. 🤦🏼♀️ I knew so little about health back then. I’m so glad for all the knowledge I’ve learned since then.
Spot On… My PCP / Internist who retired last year has been bugging me to take Statins for 16 years. When My Cholesterol hit 270 – yes, it was concerning. I tried a mild dosage of a Statin. Within 3 days, I started to have more severe than normal Calf Cramping. I did already experience some form my Stenosis in my Lumbar spine, but this Intensified it alot. Threw them right out the window. I have cut out poor eating best I can, much less Sugar, more Veggies, More Fruit, less on my plate for any meal, but still can’t lose weight. However, I persevere with healthful eating and now more exercise (as much as I can handle with spinal conditions). Some years ago, about 14 or so, the doctor told me that High Chol. is 50-50 Hereditary/ Diet. My Number was about 255 at that time. Started a more strict eating policy, much more salad, only lean meats, cut out any desserts. The next Blood test showed it dropped to about 225. He still wanted to prescribe statins. I refused.
Cholesterol is made by the liver. I trust my body more than big pharma to decide how much cholesterol I need. Give the body what it needs beef and eggs and not what breaks it (veg oils, sugar and carbs). Then you can trust your body to decide what it needs. Less veggies. More beef and eggs.
why are they saying that eggs are bad for us, but they are not saying that softdrinks, sugars and junkfoods are the real culprit of bad health, thank you that we have a Doctor who teaches the real things about health.
They want people to be ill, the most nutritional food is always bad have you noticed
amen
THIS!!!!! 🙌🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🏽
Hahahahah, I have always appreciated your sense of humor. It’s only second to your ability to extrapolate root cause solutions from all the medical information out there and translate it into actionable, easy to understand knowledge for those of us who don’t have time to memorize 5,000 new medical terms. THANK YOU 🙏🏻
Thank you Dr. Berg!! My grandmother ate eggs every single day, she died at the age of 87 from emphysema because she smoked for nearly her whole life! We learned that my grandma had no cholesterol or heart issues?! I will only eat pasture raised, organic eggs!! 🥰❤️
I swear there are not enough “Dr Bergs” in the world. Thank you for providing such valuable content that not only breaks down the lies out there but you teach people how to think for themselves and become more analytical about the information they receive. You Sir are a LEGEND.
Almost caught me Dr. Berg! 😅
I’m 36 and I’m on a ketogenic diet for the first time. Loving it! My goal is to gain some more muscles and get rid of some belly fat. I do fasting too. Eggs are my favorite part of the diet!
Thank you for all this good information! 🙏🏼❤
I started Keto 2 weeks ago, after watching your videos for some months. I do intermittent fasting and eat eggs late morning early afternoon to push me through to dinner.
I have more energy than I had in a long time.
I’m 47 and lost 5kg in the last 2 weeks.
Thank you Dr.
