I noticed that you do not have any vids on Alpha Lipoic Acid. In Germany and perhaps the EU it is only available by prescription the last I have heard. Just a mention👍

ALP thins the blood. If you’re on thinners it’s a no go. I took it for a month without researching it and found no relief from glucose levels at all.

@davidanderson8469 As in Alpha Lipoic Acid?

I wear a bio sensor about every 8 to 10 weeks..just to check on how things are going. I’m about ready to put one one… and I’ll run a couple of tests by taking berberine 20 mins before a food that will spike (>30mg/dl) .. like Quinoa.

Dr.Z…due to the fact I must take more than 1 pain pill for arthritis, your wonderful product, NAC. I take daily & it’s helping my liver destroy the 325 mg dose of acetaminophen I must swallow with every “pain pill”. Question???? What would be your recommendation for increasing my NAC 2-pill dosage in accordance to my increase in acetaminophen? 1pain pill :: I take 2 NAC’s – but if I take 2 pain pills in a day, how much NAC should I take then? (Gosh, hope I made this clear for you). Thank you!!!

The glucose goddess pointed all of this out. She said when eating a meal, eat veg first, then protein and carbs last.

There is nothing wrong with Sugar Spikes, a temporary insulin spike is normal. It’s the total area under the curve and the duration you need to look at.

    • @rafaelborrero6775 on November 11, 2025 at 1:38 am

      Very well said.

  13. @jacobcherian4384 on November 10, 2025 at 4:11 am

According to mastering diabetes if you eat animal fats and saturated fats first or with high glycemic carbs. The fatty acids from saturated fats clogs the insulin receptors in your liver and muscles. Which means if you eat carbs then glucose cannot enter the cells in your body and the glucose stays high and piles up in your blood stream. And the more carbs you eat while your insulin receptors are blocked by fatty acids from saturated fat animal foods. Then your blood sugar spikes and goes up and you have high blood sugars.

    Been there, done that .
    Didn’t work.

    • @safffff1000 on November 16, 2025 at 9:05 pm

Bingo, the yotube channel, Beat Diabetes, has tested many of these combination and others on youtube has too. Doesn’t work, only for those that don’t have blood sugar problems. I have pre diabetes and have tried all that stuff and slowly over time my morning glucose rises unless I avoid carbs
