Easy Keto Pickled Eggs Recipe [Low-Carb, Sugar-Free]

These pickled eggs are not only simple to prepare but also packed with flavor and nutrients, making them an ideal addition to your meal rotation. With just a few basic ingredients—eggs, vinegar, and a blend of spices—this recipe transforms ordinary eggs into a zesty treat that can be enjoyed as lunch, a snack, or a flavorful addition to salads.

For this recipe, you do need already hard-boiled, peeled eggs. You can double, triple, or scale the recipe up as needed depending on if you want to make a larger batch. Shake up the jars every few days to keep the spices mixed up. You can keep these refrigerated for several weeks – I find the maximum flavor is imparted after about 9-10 days. Customize the recipe to fit your tastes, too. Swap out the spices for your personal favorites!

Read the room. Eggs are too expensive

Even with the huge price inflation on eggs, they are still on the cheaper side of nutrient-rich protein sources. If they aren’t within your budget anymore, you can simply skip the recipe 👍

That’s about $6.50 a pound. The most nutrient dense healthy food you can eat and one of the only foods that contains all the necessary proteins in a digestible form is too expensive at $6.50 lb ? I think you should take a minute to look at all of the nutrition labels on the packaged food that you buy so you can realize that you are trading healthy nutritious food at a very reasonable price for garbage that is going to kill you just because you don’t understand nutritional basics.

    HI! NYC buy eggs-1 dozen-$ 12.00

Please use a spoon or some other kind of utensil when retrieving your eggs out of your brine. You’re contaminating your Brine and if you don’t eat those eggs immediately you might get sick.

May I assume the pickling broth cooled before adding it to the jar with eggs?

    • @RuledMe on February 15, 2025 at 5:30 pm

You can. It’s not necessary though. It can help create a vacuum in the jars if you are using boiling liquid, but it depends on the type of jars you are using anyway. Some will require you to cool liquid first.
