Don’t Use This for Dry Hands!

Are your hands constantly dry, cracked, or irritated? The culprit might be hiding in your hand lotion! Many popular lotions contain alcohol, which can strip away natural oils and dehydrate your skin —making your dry hands even worse.

    • @b.williams9473 on March 27, 2025 at 12:35 pm

I like to add Castor Oil to my lotion.

  7. @Users_rx on March 27, 2025 at 9:25 am

Coconut oil/ shea nut oil, rub it all over you hands and put latex gloves to sleep. Woke up with moisturized and plumped hands

    • @kaprinal492 on March 27, 2025 at 11:02 am

And some castor oil, hexane free in a brown glass bottle. Slather that on your face, hands, arms, take it internally (slowly start)… so many more benefits ❤

    • @melaniestarkey7868 on March 27, 2025 at 12:57 pm

      I’m allergic to latex

  8. @leastidyworld4365 on March 27, 2025 at 9:31 am

Some products contain things to make your hands (or lips if it’s a chapstick) dry again so that you buy more and more of the product because you think you need more of it. 😤

  9. @GonRogue-85 on March 27, 2025 at 9:34 am

    Shea butter is good too.

  10. @carries.9919 on March 27, 2025 at 9:38 am

I never use lotion. Look at the chemical content on the label 😢 Been using coconut oil for years, even on my face. ❤

    • @melaniestarkey7868 on March 27, 2025 at 12:55 pm

I can’t use coconut oil on my face I break out in pimples but I use it all over my body and it is wonderful. I love castor oil I always put a thin layer of it on and then a good cream

Not only the alcohol, also glycerin is not good for the skin. The old Egyptian used it for the mummies (drying).

❤❤ I’ve been sugar free since 2018 for me to get up in the morning and walk in a bakery to get coffee.
    Sugar is a bad thing

    • @ganymeade5151 on March 27, 2025 at 12:06 pm

Sugar is as bad or worse than alcohol depending on the amount consumed.

    • @Drberg on March 27, 2025 at 2:17 pm

      Yes, correct.

    • @DonJohnson-t2b on March 27, 2025 at 2:21 pm

The alcohol helps bind the chemicals. There’s different types. I’m surprised at this take however I use Avocado oil or Tallow lol

  17. @yasminhorn_ on March 27, 2025 at 1:04 pm

Makes sense why most lotions are counterproductive

  18. @AdventureswithCaliandCaty on March 27, 2025 at 2:07 pm
