I wish there was more research on this subject. There’s also the belief that copper sterilizes water or alkalizes it.
It adds copper element into drinking water which is why it’s used for pipes. Pure copper/silver/gold have antibacterial properties to them.
@@SammytheStampedeThanks for the info
Same with silver- it’s a reason why bits of silver were tossed into wells n the town fountains. Later copper coins n silver coins. Possibly the start of the Wishing Well. They didn’t know why way back then but wishing wells n wishing fountains had the safest drinking water… pretty sure it helped pay the cleaners too… just a thought.
@@SammytheStampede they’ve stopped copper pipes in new builds now. It’s plastic now. The excuse .. They rust and break easily.
It cleared up a 20×40′ pool where I lived when typical pool chemicals could not.
In India we kept water in copper utensils for night then drink that water in morning for health benefits
Do tell, what benefits 🤔 do you speak.
I have one and have tried in the past. I need to start again.
Copper kettles used to be popular. We need to get back to common sense!
@@kathyracine1903aids in thyroid function, weight loss, hair growth. but you need to research a bit more. I am going with what i know from Ayurvedic teachings
I would like to buy some authentic utensils
Eating clean helps my lower back inflamation.

Take tomatoes out of your diet potatoes and peppers are all in the nightshade family and cause inflammation
What about “silver solution” or even colloidal silver as well?
Each pure metal does different health benefits. You can find it online.
Look Into grounding the human body or earthing touching a grounded part of copper works wonders
God bless you for your scholarly research, Dr. Berg.
Ty. Enjoy your teachings
Growing up in the 60s and 70s a LOT of people use to wear copper bracelets.
I remember I wore copper cuff-bracelets and rings in the 70s but their health benefits were not exclaimed.
Also in the 70s people had some major bushes
I remember they had from old homes copper door knobs. They knew about the copper benefits way back. It killed viruses and bacteria.
@@modickens1272As in big shrubs in their gardens, or ‘proper’ bushes? 😋
Could that work for arthritis in the back? And or bulging discs?
Since you mentioned that I am drinking water that is kept in copper cup. Thank you.
My Granny, who lived to one month shy of her 100th birthday, wore copper wire on her wrists for her arthritis. It was the only thing wrong with her. She wasn’t on any medications at all except a multivitamin. She swore by the copper wire!
May Allah bless you with good health and happiness for this noble work
Hey Doc, thanks for sharing this info. I am not professional like you but I do know that a lot of people in India do wear copper rings, bracelets etc and with your video.. now it makes sense to why do people do that 🙂 thanks as always for enhancing our knowledge and making us better from yesterday.. may God bless you ❤❤
I appreciate that Dr. Berg can admit that he/we don’t know about or fully understand something. Makes him and what he says so much more credible to me.
EXACTLY….. GREAT DOCTOR!
Copper is also used as an antibiotic, antimicrobial to purify water.
I have had sciatica, several times, so bad sometimes that I had to use crutches to get around. I’m pretty sure I know what causes it for me (and others). I was watching some medical doctor training CDs years ago where they were looking at cadavers (bodies of deceased people who have donated their bodies for medical research). In one of the videos it showed how the sciatic nerve goes down through an opening in the pelvic bone. The nerve is very close to the colon (the large intestine). My theory is this: if something is eaten that inflames the colon (in my case it is cherries), whatever is in them causes inflammation in the colon, and it causes the sciatic nerve to also become inflamed. Thus causing sciatica. It happens on different levels every time I eat cherries.
I use very high dose copper sulfate that I make myself (for dirty cheap) around 30 mgs a day. For a year and a half. Previous to copper, I was dying from ehler’s danlos (severe), dozens of seizures a week, and multiple sclerosis symptoms. I was not expected to live. I started very high dose copper (with nothing to lose) and high thiamine (started at 1800 mgs a day and now down to 800 mgs a day). I’m walking now, finally able to hold down food, no more seizures, and all my joints and organs are becoming stronger. I think many “diseases” are server deficiencies. I had a near immaculate diet prior to copper and thiamine (never touched sugar, gluten, chemicals, etc…) but found I had major genetic issues which meant many pathways were shut down in my body and I wasn’t getting enough of certain nutrients I needed. I go very high on my minerals now and life is coming back into me. Praise God!!
So happy you found a cheap and great solution. Just be careful with it. Be supervised by a naturopathy Doctor on your illness and dosage. There are side effects when taken so much. Schizophrenia is one of them that I heard.
@@gofigure4920 I am a Nutritional Counselor. Ayurvedic degree. Schizo episodes are not from copper but from toxins and metals being released. I simply went higher faster rather than leave the metals and toxins in doing more long term damage. Detox isn’t easy. But copper is life saving and worth it. The system has entirely lied about it copper. It is miraculous and many in eastern medicine have quietly known this for centuries.
@@gofigure4920that is false. The only negative side affect of copper is the detox symptoms you might feel when quickly detox fluoride and other heavy metals. There are people who take far greater than 30mg copper and none of them have ever developed schizophrenia.
What form thiamine do you take? Also I’m at 17mg copper a day and I’m hoping if I increase my siatica will stop
@@haileystephens8059 I use mostly B1 thiamine hcl. I’m still extremely sensitive to benfotiamine but I try to take maybe 300 mgs of that every few weeks just to see if I can handle it. Hcl type is very easy for me, though. I just need high dose for it to make a difference. Low dose of hcl is almost harder on me. I never touch B6 or B9. For some reason, those in synthetic form cause me neuron damage… so only food form of those.
I think sciatic nerve issues go back to uneven muscle distribution. Physical therapist can find out what muscles you need to work out to be more symmetric with your muscle distribution.
Carefull with ORAL supplementing copper. In certain cases, o.a. livermalfunction, it can accumulate in the brain. Those effect are not reversable. First have bloodwork done.
Back in the late 60’s when I had a sciatica problem my pediatrician had me taking vitamin C and high dosage vitamin B complex 4 times a day (morning, lunch, dinner and bedtime) until it was under control, abut two weeks, then just twice a day everyday. I’m 71 now and no symptoms any more. I had not just the pain but my knee would give out and I would fall or couldn’t use the clutch in my vehicle. She was one of three GP’s I have gone to in my life who really knew what they were doing and believed in using supplements instead of drugs when possible.
Copper thank you Dr.BERG
